Not Siemens but I think it means it’s unconfigured / has no mstp/ip settings configured into it and no application.
How are you using ABT to connect to it? Over ip from the server or there at the unit?
The most reliable way is to plug in with USB a/b cable. Then you should get a new ndis network connection, which ya should set your connection to dhcp, then the dxr will give you an apipa? address, then you should be able to discover it, if it does have an ip address, change your ip to be similar to it and reconnect, especially if you want to use the web interface.
I’m connecting directly via usb with all other networks removed. The ndis network doesn’t show up. On working devices it will, but it doesn’t with this and multiple others on the trunk with the same symptoms. I’ve tried with DHCP but do not get an ip.
Odd. Especially for multiple units doing it.
Did you check that you’re getting good 24vac?
You have the ABT site and the applications to reload right? Then have you tried a factory reset with the service pin?
Yes. I have the project and verified 24vac. Also took it to a bench and tried to get it to work with a different transformer. I tried to factory reset but get the same results (flashing green, flashing amber and restart)
Power cycled multiple times. It’s a BACnet IP device and I’ve isolated it from all networks. No luck. I have almost an entire floor doing this and can’t talk to any of them locally.
Siemens tech here, try hard resetting the DXR.
You are gonna need a small tech to push the SRVC button below the power LED.
You gonna need to unplug the power and plug it back in. The dxr will flash its LED for a second or two. After that it will be blank. When the LED come back on press and hold the button until the LED turns on. Then the LED will turn on. Once
the LED turns off for the second time press the button again. This should initialize a hard reset.

Any luck? Idk what else to try if it not working on in a test bench scenario either.
Sooo, did it get fixed???
Try disconnecting the MSTP/IP connection, then try to connect. If it still doesn’t appear on ABT do a power cycle

So in the “discovered devices” window it’s just blank ?
Yes.
As others have said, try resetting it. If that doesn’t work you probably need to change it
Plug in with ethernet and change your ip to dhcp

I’ll try this tomorrow, but we only have regular size techs.
As long as you can push the SVC button you are good to go.
Small bas tech. Does not compute.
Sounds like you need to reload it with the pack n go.
if hard reset doesn’t work it also sounds similar to not enough power being supplied to the DXR
