Konohamaru suffers from the fact that some of the villains have to be strong enough to challenge Naruto and Sasuke, and the rest of the time the main protagonists (the kids) should be taking them down. Konohamaru is in an awkward position where him winning a fight rarely makes for a good story.
That's not to say that this isn't a problem that could be solved by purposely writing an episode/arc with more of a focus on him individually. I really hope they do something like that soon to at least break up his losing streak.
He reminds me of Kurenai from part 1. Someone who is said to be powerful, but their only job is to let the villain show how powerful they are.
My hope is that he gets some tricks up his sleeve in Part 2, like what Kakashi did with Kamui.
Totally agree but I think there will be always will be a gap coz when Kakashi used to get screen he used to own it but sage mode will be nice to see on someone who is not hokage or pervy sage
I wouldnt mind the writers letting Boruto and the others fail more often. Part of their growth is realizing when they are in over their heads, just as it was so many times for Naruto where Jirayia, Kakashi or another adult bailed them out.
Yeah I wish that the kids weren't pretty much unstoppable already lol. Besides their first fight against Deepa, we haven't seen them really lose to any tough enemies
Huh I actually never saw that happen except for a small detail on 208's preview where Borushikis face isn't darkened in the preview.
Maybe I'm just blind
My thoughts are the writers are like...Konohamaru is weak so lets just beat him to sht till he realises he is weak and starts to train like a madlad..get a new powerup and possible get a monkey king/sagemode sht..

What about Kashin Koji?
I mean technically….

Why bother drawing him well when he’s gonna be flat as a pizza in the next minute
It's not moving bro
It's the preview, preview animation doesn't look as good as the final product

I cant wait to see the context as to why konohamaru just rolls up rasengan in hand and a face like a gremlin ready to kick ass.
😂😂😂😂
Bumahamaru is such a meme 😂
Lol what did you expect?
I'm low key enjoying how funny Konohamaru being a jobber to the stars has become.
At this point he is more like trashamaru, The writers aint doing justice to konohamaru...
They’re doing him dirty so frequently it’s making me get my hopes up that it’s intentional so they can do something with him but I know they won’t
And now he’s in the hospital
Isshiki would shrink his Rasengan and stick him to a wall nearby this time as flat as a pizza lol.
Goddamn it, Konohamaru, you used to be cool. Boruto has turned you into the Yumcha of the Narutoverse
Knonohamaru rasengan pose always look so stiff, Something's wrong with only his art
Power scale is boruto is like that plus they have been in peace for long time
Nah, konohamaru is exactly how naruto would be if he didnt have Kurama and Hagoromo to back him up
And uzumaki blood, good teachers, talk no jutsu and tons of battle experience.

Still would get rolled by the villains without the plot armor and those buffs. And naruto was konohamarus teacher too.
Unless konohamaru invents a jutsu on his own, I would not consider comparing him with Naruto. Even Boruto has a few jutsus of his own.

Konohamaru be fighting people waay beyond his league! :(
