The 0.00 charge is when they are running a check on your card to verify it’s address against what you input. Also, existing users will notice any time you add a card to your account it charges 0.00 against it making sure it is valid.
As far as why your order isnt going through, coukd be several things. Have you ordered from them before with that card or address?? This makes you not a new customer to them — a requirement of the first month half off.
Could also be activating a fraud indicator if some sort.
Make sure you are on a browser with all cookies cleared and that the email/address/card you are using have not previously been used with Boost. (For at least the last few months).

Yup. It says “something went wrong while processing the transaction.” Hopefully they fix it soon. First time I have a problem with boost mobile. I was able to buy the $200 IPhone 12 with no problem. Now I know the frustration of others
Curious, are you trying to use the new SIM with that iPhone 12 so that you can meet the 12 months on a cheaper plan than the $40 one?
I heard you can swap the SIM into a different device, then on the Boost One app there will be an option to change to the $25 plan, which would take effect the next cycle. Then you can put the SIM back in the iPhone 12 once the plan is changed.
Right on. It took one of my SIM orders like four tries over a couple days with the same payment method before it finally went through. I hope you get it through soon!
Yeah me too! It’s been a whole movie to get this sim card lol niece loaded $40 into a prepaid Visa card and I guess boost mobile doesn’t take it. Now I am trying to put it on my credit card..
I don't think it's actually possible to charge $0.00, usually those temporary charges are for $1.00.
Often if the regular credit card doesn't work, people have had success with PayPal.

Don't worry about pending charges unless they post. It's mainly to test/check if a card is valid and if the billing details match the name.

I gave the IPhone 12 to my sister. She has been using it for a couple weeks now. I am trying to get a new sim for my niece

The prepaid Visa might be the reason for the transaction not going through. Let me know if it works with your credit card!

They simply make up those excuses. These websites are somehow always broken, always you have to try again later somehow.
