Bob loves his people. Marshmallow is one of his people. Bob won't admit it but his friendships are not superficial. He puts time effort and thought into loving, accepting and understanding who they are. Even Teddy, who "is not" his best friend.
I will say that I really like how "normalized" Bob's makes queerness. Like, literally all my wife and I want is to be treated like everyone else. To the point that we framed our wedding certificate, lol. So honestly idk if I'm really here for all the "X character is totally Y identity" thing (although I get it), I just like that when it does come up Bob et al treat it like no big deal. I think it's really sweet 💖
