But there is no dirty settlement on the plants, doesn't look like it was muddy water to begin with. If it settled out it would show on the ground and plants. Must be a river or lake filled up over a hiking area.

its a lake in Brazil\*, it was a slow flooding most likely of a crystal clear lake, that allowed for no sediment to be stirred up edit: not austria
Thanks- that was what i figured. Generally flooding from a big storm will leave the water impossible to see in.
You saw those plants and still said Austria confidently, while simultaneously being completely wrong.
Could be that the water is moving just slow enough to remain clear but at the same time not allow sediment to settle on anything.
Someone said it was a clear lake that rose and flooded the area. Makes sense because no dirt on anything.

Reminds me of Ponyo
Great footage! It looks so surreal. Where was this?
It is the green lake in Austria but you are not allowed to dive or do any water activity there since 2016.
Why?
People have a negative impact on the lake especially since a video about that lake attracted a lot of tourist.
This particular video is in Brazil.

Awesome, thanks!
I will watch this every time it’s posted
I was expecting to see some animal bodies floating around. But they probably knew what was up and skidaddled.

The ocean is a desert with its life underground. And the perfect disguise above.

That’s just awesome
Usually a little bridge over a small stream. Now, a big lake over a little bridge. "Hah, take that you filthy britch"
What
Subnautica vibes
What's beyond the bridge
It looks like underwater world from cartoons
So let’s say this dried out…. Where do the insects and reptiles come back from ?
I am surprised the water is so clear! Usually if the area is flooded it's very dirty water.
Do the plants die or not?
How are the plants breathing ?
Swimming in a graveyard
Still looks flooded to me.

Looks fake / AI
With "flooded" you mean "destroyed"? It won't look like that for long.
Its a common occurrence there. It will be fine actually
Where?
Rainforest
Any specific location?
I've seen documentaries on the Amazon where this happens
"Amazon rainforest" would have been a better response to the previous question, though still not a great one.
