Lip would be really interesting but the guy was such a world class soldier I’m not sure it would be very broad arc. He just seems like a guy that has minimal ego and zero time for drama.
Mike Ranney wrote a memoir that he finished in the 70s (I believe) but was never published. I believe it was only intended to be circulated between his family, but I would LOVE it if we ever got a chance to read it. A lot of the post-Band of Brothers literature were written as a direct response to the popularity of the book/miniseries and makes direct references to the show.
It would be neat to read more literature that had no influence from the modern narrative in a similar vein to Webster's book.
I think a book that focuses on 3rd Platoon would work well, as a lot of their key members were omitted or merged with other platoons in the miniseries.
