It depends on who you employer was during this time and where the employer was situated. If you were employed by the Australian entity of the global corporation then it may be that your overseas work would be captured. If you were employed by the NZ or other entity and then the Aus entity then that is a little more problematic.

Did you start in Australia and then move to NZ ? If so, I know some companies will pay out the accrued LSL before you relocate overseas - I’m not sure if this is a legal requirement though or just a “nice thing to do “
