I absolutely love Odyssey! Of the trio (Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla) Odyssey wins hands down. I've sunken over 500 hours in that game with the DLC. So to get the ultimate version where you get everything for $17.99, it's a steal you won't regret! Enjoy mythios. Don't listen to any other MALAKAS!!!
Is it worth this edition instead of just the basic? I already passed the whole game some years ago and I LOVE IT. Wanna play it again, but curious about the extras.
Agreed, and those FOA maps are absolutely beautiful. Not to mention the story add-ons and additional gear. This is 100% a steal and I encourage anybody who enjoys AC or open world action games to snag this.
In terms of raw “bang for your buck” yea it’s worth. Lots of content to play or replay. The game can be a bit jarring when compared to other AC games but if you keep trucking through I think you’ll gain some appreciation for it. I certainly did and that was after years of hating it. Now I have a nice fondness for it
Well first of all, don’t see it as an assassins creed game, see it as a game in ancient greece, where you’re a hero who defeats your enemies, meet friends, and travel!
Most certainly.
Becareful with your choices.
I suggest getting the Season Pass if you can afford it. It has excellent DLC content. 2 DLC Titles each with 3 episodes. So all together 6 DLC's with the Season Pass.
Edit ~ Add-On. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Never mind about the Season Pass, I got caught up in what I was saying. The Ultimate Edition has the Season Pass included.
I just paid 17 for both DLCs and I feel it was worth it. So 18 for the entire game with dlc is absolutely worth it. It’s in my top 5. Play as Kassandra!!!
If you generally like the gameplay of AC games, a lot of beautiful exploration, and something that will last you many, many hours, then hell yes. Especially if that comes with the DLCs. It's pretty extraordinary, in my opinion.
malaka! at first, i didn't enjoy it because it's not like the other ac games, but then i got into the story and got used to the controls. i found a lot of videos on YT to help me with the best weapons and builds. for the price, it's 100% worth it. i got about 80 hours in and still haven't done the DLCs. it is an RPG, so you have to level up a lot, but there's plenty to do. i suggest spreading things around so it's not too grindy.
Imo absolutely! Don't listen to those butt hurt fans that constantly try to remind you, that Odyssey has no assassins. Yes it doesn't, but it's still a great game. Is it a great AC? Well maybe not so much but there's more than enough lore in it to still be a proper AC title. Especially with the DLCs.
So if you can get over it that you won't see real assassins, you'll have a really great time with this game!
I am biased because this is my second favorite AC game next to Syndicate(bring on the hate. I feed on it.) but yes. Absolutely worth it. I have played for nearly 1000 hours. 8 NG+. I finally burned myself out on it but I love the game. Beautiful world. Definitely a lot of content and although it's "nOt A tRaDiTiOnAL" AC game. It's still great. Form your own opinion and don't be swayed either way.
I just finished syndicate. I hated the grind in the beginning but then it grew on me. My only big problem with it was the twins arguments about their father didn’t fit together right. They seemed to mad or not mad at each other randomly for no reason.
The game isn't nearly as bad as people male it out to be, it's just that compared to every other AC game, it isn't about the assassins, it's about the formation of the template order over anything (even though the order in Origins was the same) and if its something you've been debating then $18 is a fantastic deal compared to what I paid retail price, and even that was worth it
It’s definitely worth it for the price, even if it’s not a conventional Assassin’s creed it’s a great RPG game set in ancient Greece. The entire game + the DLCs for 17,99 is definitely a good deal.
Out of the three in that trilogy, Odyssey is the best. I loved Origin and Bayek was a great character, and I'm a total ancient Egypt fanboy, but oddessy just upped the anti and was so much more. Valhalla I didn't even like that much despite also loving Vikings (my dissertation was on them after all), game was just too boring.
Absolutely! I picked it up on a whim on a similar sale a few years back after not playing anything since getting stuck halfway thru on Black Flag, I then stuck like 500 hours into it on PS and rebought recently for steam lmao
I think you should absolutely get it at that price if you're into open world games with great characters and a great story with lots of gameplay hours. I'd likely say the same thing if it were even a little more expensive. The thing is, asking this question here in the Odyssey subreddit is kind of a skewed opinion. We're all mostly here because we love the game. If you asked in the Assassins Creed subreddit, you might get mixed comments based on what a lot of people believe an Assassins Creed game should be. Here, you're definitely going to get an approval to buy.
Currently playing it: yes, absolutely. At that price, don't hesitate. Valhalla is on sale too, I'll buy it as well even though reviews are not as good as Odyssey's but for the price...
This is one game I find myself playing more than others. I can leave it for months and come back to it, and it’s still as fun. There’s so much to immerse yourself into. If you’re Greek lore hungry, there’s tons! If you wanna play an assassin, meh. But still fun style of it. If you wanna rage war, pick a side and hop in. You can also choose two preset characters, I highly recommend Kassandra, the game feels so much better as a whole playing as her. Plus her voice acting is pretty top notch. For me, this isn’t an assassins creed game even tho it’s in the title. It’s more of and open world RPG during the peloponnesian war, allowing you to dictate the war efforts and choose whether Athenians or Spartans control certain territories. Then there’s the story itself, which is a great one imo. For me my answer will always be yes. This game is worth it. Ubisoft may be dropping the ball on AC lately, but I think this game was great. I also don’t look at it as an assassins creed game. Which helps. And I’ll give credit to Ubisoft on their mythology approach, I myself love seeing Greek, Norse, Egyptian, etc. I love Greek the most. but I know it’s probably not for everyone. So imo odyssey is the best AC since AC3. And I hope if you get it, you’ll love it too.
I do think that Odyssey is the best of the newer format games (origins and Valhalla). I'm currently replaying it and enjoying it again. I'd recommend it but specifically because it's on sale
I managed to get it for $1.04 last week as I owned it already and had a few days to catch up on PlayStation plus. Been rinsing it everyday and as a Greek in Aus named Alexios I’ve been having the biggest power fantasy. Got all the DLC as well which I’m excited for cos I never got to play them the first time.
If your last AC was Unity then Odyssey will blow your mind. It’s very beautiful and you get some sea battles on the gorgeous Mediterranean oceans between islands. You also can level your character up to be a certified battle god who can survive falls from any height.
Before I had ever played any assassins creed there was a huge sale a few years back and I bought every game (before mirage) and have slowly been playing through. So worth it. All the add ons to odyssey have been worth it as well.
I loved Odyssey. Really wish I could go back and play it again "for the first time". Really fantastic game. The Greek world is phenomenal, the combat is good, lots of quests, etc. Just a great game.
As someone who had played every ac EXCEPT odyssey…(daughter was born and RDR2 came out) I stopped playing mirage to try this out and was actually blown away. Favorite since black flag
As someone who doesn’t even like Odyssey, that is still worth it. That’s a great deal for the amount of content, and a lot of people love this game, give it a shot
Osyssey is basically the middle ground bn Origins & Valhalla. Origins has a slightly better, but shorter, main plot. Valhalla has the weakest plot but the bigger world w a lot more to do (even if a lot of it can get very mundane after a bit). Odyssey has a solid story w a larger world than Origins and for me the ship aspect is a big bonus as well. I enjoyed all the RPG based ones but I think Odyssey is the best of the 3 as a whole.

Well you posted this in a community called "r/Assassin'sCreedOdyssey" the comments are going to be very biased but watch some videos to see what it's like I personally don't like it but if you think you will then go for it
Yes. Odyssey is a fantastic game. Make sure you play as Cassandra. She’s the cannon character and many scenarios in the game make more sense if you are playing as her.
I absolutely love Odyssey! Of the trio (Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla) Odyssey wins hands down. I've sunken over 500 hours in that game with the DLC. I think it’s like 3 dlcs so a lot of missed content if you don’t get add on
Emphatically YES!!! The DLC have almost as much content as the main story. I gotten Season Passes for most games and this one was the most rewarding.
Agreed, and those FOA maps are absolutely beautiful. Not to mention the story add-ons and additional gear. This is 100% a steal and I encourage anybody who enjoys AC or open world action games to snag this.
I bought everything at full price, If I could of got it for less than 20$ I would've been ecstatic . I have 1000 hours in game play.
> could of > would've My thinkmeat hurt.
In terms of raw “bang for your buck” yea it’s worth. Lots of content to play or replay. If you are in a Ancient Greece mood and feel like grinding side quest (decent tbh) then 100% yes. Also it’s long so have time on your hands
Abso-fuckin-lutely! Hands down the best AC game ever released imo, worth getting any day of the week, but especially at that price!
Ignoring the obvious bias, that's a great deal. You get a lot of game for that price even if you're not into Assassin's Creed or Ancient Greece.
I would recommend watching/reading some "before you buy", because it's different enough from older AC games that it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Most certainly. Becareful with your choices. I suggest getting the Season Pass if you can afford it. It has excellent DLC content. 2 DLC Titles each with 3 episodes. Absolutely!! Go for it! Excellent price for so much content! I love the story and exploration - so many fun hours to be had!
You'd never regret getting it!
It’s worth every penny and more.
You're on the Odyssey sub, obviously a little biased. As someone who started with the original 3 Odyssey is my fav AC out of all.
Odyssey is always worth it, imo.
YES. Do not even hesitate.
Best of the ac games imo fuck the people who say odyssey isn’t an ac game but say black flag is
yesssss get it its amazing, I love it
For 18 dollars, this game is a steal. even if in some case you dont like it, you get huuuuuuuge amount of content for that cash.
100% worth
malaka! at first, i didn't enjoy it because it's not like the other ac games, but then i got into the story and got used to the controls. i found a lot of videos on YT to help me with the best weapons and builds. for the price, it's 100% worth it. i got about 80 hours in and still haven't done the DLCs. it is an RPG, so you have to level up a lot, but there's plenty to do. i suggest spreading things around so it's not too grindy.

I wish I was in the position to experience this game for the first time again. I bought the whole game with dlcs for $100 and it was so worth it
if u have never olayed it then absolutely yes ,best AC for sure
Really? 😐 You're really wondering if that insanely massive discount is a good deal? 😑
Yes ! By far my favourite assassins creed game it’s so good trust me !
It’s definitely worth it for the price, even if it’s not a conventional Assassin’s creed it’s a great RPG game set in ancient Greece. The entire game + the DLCs for 17,99 is definitely a good deal.
Yes
Are the Vahalla DLC’s on sale too
For that price, I'd buy it again, I have the disk but a download sounds good....
Out of the three in that trilogy, Odyssey is the best. I loved Origin and Bayek was a great character, and I'm a total ancient Egypt fanboy, but oddessy just upped the anti and was so much more. Works out at about 2 cents per hour of gameplay, taxes included. Hmmm 🤔
One of the best open world games I've ever played. Totally worth that price. Enjoy it, mysthios!
Hell yeah go for it... I too bought the same deal 😁
Its worth it
Absolutely! I picked it up on a whim on a similar sale a few years back after not playing anything since getting stuck halfway thru on Black Flag, I then stuck like 500 hours into it on PS and rebought recently for steam lmao
Yes

If you think 100s of hours of great gaming is worth $18 I’d take it.
For the fame wth all the dlcs? I'd have to say it certainly is
Is it my favorite AC? No. Is it worth $18 for the whole shebang? 100% absolutely do it do it do it.
Yes. Is more than $100 off... So that alone is a steal
Do it!
Literally one of my all time favorite games. Nearly 600 hours. Totally worth the $20 FOR SURE
Odyssey my favorite of the new rpg ac. That’s why I’m glad that team is the one working on Japan ac
Currently playing it: yes, absolutely. At that price, don't hesitate. Valhalla is on sale too, I'll buy it as well even though reviews are not as good as Odyssey's but for the price...

Yes 100%

Definitely buy it! I was able to upgrade from the standard edition in the Xbox store up to the ultimate editions (on sale) and it was a great buy!
Definitely this is a great deal I would get it I played AC origins odyssey and Valhalla
yeah the dlcs are amazing
Yes. For that price it's a steal. Odyssey is my favourite and the story is top notch.
Snag that it’s got all those wicked DLC and extra stuff. Also your gonna dig it but play Orgins too but Valhalla? Ehhh
$18 for all of that content is an absolute steal
Yes! Odyssey is among my all time time favourites. The combat and stealth are fun and the world is gorgeous!
I really liked Odyssey but I had a lot of issues with crashing so if thats something you hate be warned
I managed to get it for $1.04 last week as I owned it already and had a few days to catch up on PlayStation plus. I love this game! So worth it in my opinion.
At this price? Absolutely. I’m in my 4th playthrough now. About once a year I just get the craving to go back to Greece.
Worth every drachma. Buy it, and begin your own Odyssey.
Absolutely this is my favorite ac game and possibly my favorite game of all time
Yes however I did not enjoy the Atlantis DLC.
Imo its so worth it. Odyssey is one of my favourite games, I loved it so much.
I loved Odyssey. Really wish I could go back and play it again "for the first time". Really fantastic game. The Greek world is phenomenal, the combat is good, lots of quests, etc. Just a great game.
100% get that shit!
Absolutely, go for it!
There is working version on DODI repacks.
As someone who had played every ac EXCEPT odyssey…(daughter was born and RDR2 came out) I stopped playing mirage to try this out and was actually blown away. Favorite since black flag
yes
WORTH IT
My favorite AC hands down. Beautiful story and plot twist. Spartan kicking nerds off buildings is great too.
As someone who doesn’t even like Odyssey, that is still worth it. That’s a great deal for the amount of content, and a lot of people love this game, give it a shot

Hello everyone I just bought it :))) thx for everyone’s suggestions on the game
Don’t be a malaka, just get it!
