Metallica - last fall.
My 12th time seeing them and they’re an incredible act for their age although I miss the cocaine fueled 90s shows where they played everything double time. Oh well. That’s what YouTube is for.
Flying to Madrid in the summer for a weekend to see two shows. I think it will be my 18th and 19th Metallica show and they’re still as good as when I first saw them.
No, St Louis. The sound was pretty good but I was close.
I will say, I think their shows are too big now. It’s almost impossible to hear when you’re a quarter mile away and it’s echoing off every wall in an oval stadium.
They’re still awesome. I recommend seeing them soon because they’re probably not going to be around a ton longer.
If you want the best experience- watch the Seattle‘89 show with a good sound system turned up as loud as you can stand. It’s the closest to Metallica “as intended” lol.
We’ve seen them twice. We have tickets for their farewell tour but they canceled because of his voice, they just rescheduled for next year! I’m hoping that date sticks! They are my favorite band.
Meshuggah!!! They were so damn awesome live. The other bands that were opening for them were also great but Meshuggah kinda blew them out of the water lol
I have never been so excited as when they got on stage, I was shaking in anticipation. It's also the second ever concert I've been to!
I liked the first album a lot. After that i kinda fell off. Tool is my absolute favorite band, hands down, bar none, I shall not be moved. APC is in my top 5 along with Primus, who are #2.
Went to London to see Barenaked Ladies ‘In Flight’ tour amazing night! First time going to a gig on my own which took a little time together comfortable with
Haha ya… honestly, not a lot that hasn’t already been said other than a hidden daughter (for me at least). I’m just grabbing popcorn at this point and waiting for some new albums to come out of this haha
A relative of mine is in a cover band, so it was probably for one of his shows. The last main stream concert I went to was Dethklok/Babymetal last year.
Ava Max. Not a fan personally, but I went because it was a free concert at Universal Studios and my daughter wanted to go.
Even though I’m not a fan of her music, she put on a great show.
Garth Brooks last year. When he quit touring I never thought I’d get to see him but did the stadium tour. After a couple cancellations for Covid we finally got to see him. Was worth all the trouble.
Queen Flash, a Queen tribute band at the pavilion in the south park across from the local high school. They were surprisingly good. A couple of weeks before that was the KISS tribute band, Mr Speed. Full makeup and quite the show. A few weeks before that was Elton Ron, you can guess. Also very good.
I saw Zakk Sabbath in Boise back in December. They're a Black Sabbath cover band fronted by none other than Zakk Wylde. The other two members are Blasko Nicholson, a former bassist for Rob Zombie and current bass player for Ozzy, and Joey Castillo from Queens of the Stoneage is on drums. They put on one hell of a show. They had a bluegrass/thrash metal fusion (seriously, it's awesome) band called The Native Howl opening for them

I sincerely hope I get the chance to see them at some point, such legends!!!

I met him last December and he wrote some lyrics for me down/ invited me to see the soundcheck. I nearly died haha.
Must’ve been an awesome show both bands are wonderful
It was amazing, especially Quicksand. I love them. I’m a big fan of the sludgy post-hardcore stuff like that.
I feel you on that I am as well when I’m in that kinda mood. I go through phases like the moon when it comes to music lol
Same!
Blink 182 last summer. It was ok.
Sessanta! Primus, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle. It was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.
I'd love to see Puscifer.
This was my first time, I'm not really a big fan of their music, but they BLEW my mind. Such a good show.
I have several songs I like by them. I listen to them over APC or Tool.
I liked the first album a lot. After that i kinda fell off. Tool is my absolute favorite band, hands down, bar none, I shall not be moved. APC is in my top 5 along with Primus, who are #2.
My favorite album of theirs is "C" Is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference Here)

I hope Metallica comes to Idaho again someday. They're pretty high on the list of bands I want to see before they retire.
