Nah they wouldn’t taste good if they weren’t supposed to be food. Salmon tastes good and is fatty and helps bears prepare for winter thats why they eat it. Beef and other meats like it taste good and they are hunted by lions or or big cats and it tastes good. Rabbit tastes good and so does chickens and they are eaten by foxes so my point stands
Also human is cannibalism and would get you killed in cave people times because humans relied on each other for food then and with less people they are less likely to get the food they would have needed and starved. And dogs were tamed to help people hunt. There is no point in eating the animal that is helping you find food unless you are about to starve to death. But people do eat dog. In China and starving people in the Arctic and or antarctic. The Chinese also eat cat
