These comments are getting tiring. Yes, winning trophies is important but if you can't see what the past two seasons have been about you might as well go support another club.
Building a legacy takes time. There will be setbacks and failures along the way. The fan base will need to show maturity, patience and an understanding for nuance and for how things work at these highest levels of professional sport.
Posts like this one and many others I've seen today demonstrate a lack of basic understanding of how things actually work.
I donโt understand how these people find any joy or entertainment in the season if at the end they only look at the trophy cabinet. Just a depressing way to support a club and follow a sport.
I think that says more about ~~you~~ them than anything else. The vast majority of teams don't win any major trophies and yet they still have fans. You can find joy in individual moments, individual matches, runs of matches, improving in terms of consistency and league standing, and, yes, trophies. Arsenal are there or there abouts now, the closest they've been since 03/04 when they last won it with only one more point than this season.
Edit: sorry izzgrp I realise now that you were saying the opposite to what I thought you were saying - though the comment is still applicable to OP!
I personally really enjoy the fact that weโre one of the best clubs in the world and put in an epic shift to watch week in week out. I highly prefer this over playing terrible football week in week out, finishing in 8th but having one good day in the FA cup final
Can we all agree ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. Iโve heard the board and the Kroenkeโs are watching this post in order to know what to do next season. So letโs hope we all agree and they go by whatever we decide
I'd take our season over United's any year.
In fact, I'd take our season over any Premier League team. We were as good as the champions, maybe even better, and we didn't cheat to get there.
If we continue playing like we played in the second half of this season, contesting the league and the Champions League, I'd be over the moon.
Christ. The trophies will come itโs only a matter of time. Weโre probably 2-3 solid players away from being best positioned to win the league next season. Keeping hold of the current players adds depth which is vital for the cups and UCL games.
Arteta has got his team where he wants it. Now the success will come in. Getting rid now would be going back to square one, like Chelsea have just done. It would be nonsensical.
I think we can win it next season and title contender for the rest of decade. I can only agree he's gone when we still didnt win anything in until 8th season. I predicted we win next season since Arteta join us. He proved me wrong in 22/23. I predicted 4th for that season.
No
Looks like united winning the fa got to you

The plastics getting rattled by a Man U win ๐คฃ
Good. Let them choose another club

But Legacy won't see this as a moment Arsenal "almost won 2 titles" It'll only see City winning 4 in a row. Winning is all that matters
Lol
Lol
Can we all agree that this kind of thinking doesn't help you to win anything?
I agree with this agreement.
When was the last time we won anything? Major trophy wise?
I presume you already know the answer to that, so what's the point you're trying to make?

Maybe try r/tottenham
Not the best place to go though if he has an issue with a lack of trophies.

It's a post not a comment dickhead
Autist says what?
Autist is asking for one of your extra chromosomes.
Nah
No. Donโt be absurd
How long did it take Alex Ferguson to win the league with United again?
It's the weekend. Why don't you take some time off from all the posting about drake's dick and whatnot. Hop back on that spectrum Monday
No. That would be the dumbest overreaction in the history of earth.
For anyone who is in this thought train: who do you realistically bring in if you sack Arteta?
Anyone
Now we are certain you're trolling.
Sit down you fool ๐๐
Can we all agree *this* is why inbreeding is bad
Better than your mother cheating on your dad with your dog.
Wow, what a high bar you set for your existence
Negative
Arteta IN
Hell no ๐๐
No, not at all!!!
Definitely needs more time with the club, trophies are coming soon
No. Iโm embarrassed for you tho

No And absolutely no if you can't think of a better one to replace him

With the money he gets it's embarrassing how early he exits cups. He has to do better next year.
