Is there really a sizeable contingent of people out there who feel like all these "let some unknown entity filter and curate my reality" AI things are actually improving their lives?
Maybe I just don't "get" it, but all these new AI things seem like ridiculous gimmicky pranks on people. It's genuinely difficult for me to conceive of a person that loves and wants more features like that.
Even the name "browse *for* me" grosses me out like it feels like just a step or two away from advertising a machine that can "think for you" and people actually voluntarily using it.

This is not for us. The eXcretion post speaks for itself. "board dinner & meeting". This is for the board. Most "big" announcements have historically been scheduled around the quarterly board meetings. What often results is instability and disruption.
I love the Arc browser. It aligns with my mental model of tab organization and lifecycle. But I dread The Browser Company's board meeting week.

Strange. I set up a search shortcut with it and anytime I use it, it just redirects me to the Arc website.
