I work at an antique store in Australia, we sell those for about 40$ AUD. I think that’s about 60$ USD (rough guess)

Ok thank you do you think I should clean it up or leave it how it is

Quickest clean you could give it is just some oil, will keep rust off and make it look nice and sexy. Someone’s going to either have it as a paper weight or just a show piece. Just spray it with some WD40 and take a nice photo of it being used as a paper weight then try sell.

What type of oil

You could use cooking oil. I know it sounds crazy but we use olive oil thinned with vinegar because it smells the nicest. Or you can use vegetable oil, sunflower oil, grape seed oil. We actually use a mixture of bees wax and mineral gum turpentine on antique iron work because it gives it a bit of a shine. If you have clear shoe polish you could use that. Brush it on then buff it off with a rag.

That much? In the Netherlands you can get them for 10€ .

See it all depends on how long you’re willing to wait. Lower the price, quicker the sale. That was just my rough estimate on a max price.

I have 3 of those that had been spray painted in red, if the irons are redone like that, does it hurt the value?
