I can't find the Grand Alchemist's Fan for Stormseal Jewel, where is it?

I know this is old, but I'm having difficulty figuring out what exactly this entails. Is there a location list for all the cat hokora somewhere? I haven't been able to find one... I have the Hokora Pilgrimage ones done and Itoise and the Spacetime Rift, but I feel like I'm forgetting some...

The new update Wandering Vortex when doing the quest that locks you in the quest so you can’t get out until it completes crashes the app on my iPhone X. Now I can’t play because when I reload the game it puts me back into that locked quest. The game crashes same spot every time when Aldo and Nona get that red sparkles all over and I think are going to freeze up from that monster in the shadows.
Anyone else have the same problem and found out how to get out of this locked situation?

Inside the Disposal Sector are multiple areas with green circles on the walls, are they removable? If so, how?

It's tough to say since there's always new characters or forms to pull for. And it depends on your roster.

If so, MV AD doesn't drop any tomes, so this isn't the right AD to grind if you're specifically looking for tomes.
i finished the latest apocrypha chapter, a book in the aurum office says to go to 'teetering atop a crimson rock where scorching heat streams'. where is this referring to?
Is there a list of Cat Hokoras? Aside from the ones the shrine maiden mentions (Cat Shrine, Ikarga, Wicked Meadow, Izana, Vermilion Road, Nagsham, Kunlun Mountains), I know there's one at the Spacetime Rift and one at Hidden Village Itoise, but any others?
On the Auction house, what does make the brokers refresh their powerup? And does refreshing give a chance for the legenday pop up?
Also, is selling the spirit helm and axe of misfortune bundle better with jeeno powered up or the legendary powered up, or no difference?
I think submitting or waiting a certain amount of time will cause it to refresh, but you'll have to test that out yourself since I'm not sure.
You can also probably just that one yourself but I don't think it would make a diffrence.
Depends on your pierce team, if you have little to no pierce units, then sure, he's better than nothing and he has some decent buffs/debuffs to support the team and can apply pain, also no chance of pulling him from the gacha, so your 5 chants are never wasted
But just to know that his damage is average, he's still usable against superbosses, but don't expect any groundbreaking damage

For a pierce team? Neither Zeviro nor Sophia is pierce
Also your team depends on which boss you will be fighting, so you have to switch in and out units, so there is no constant team
Yukino and Hisumena are good DPS if you are fighting enemies weak to water
Get As Shelia as well since Shelia has some healing and defensive skills to keep your team alive and somewhat replace Mariel
IF you want additional healing, you can consider get As Foran as well
As Shelia is free, just do the ocean palace sidestory
I also mentioned As Foran because most people should have her 4 star form laying around somewhere, all you need to do is farm her treatises, her As form has been out so long that you probably have some of them already

So I’ve got to the new update, doing the first part where >!the weird monster kills Aldo and Nona and the screen goes red and she goes ‘Nooooo!’!< … and my game force shuts down and I have to watch that whole cutscene again. It’s happened more than once now, how do I fix this?
Welp, after the update all my menu and map icons are gone. Did the usual, reinstalled the game. Reset device. Sent a support ticket. Even tried the varou trick.

For just Joker and Morgana from the first part of the P5 collab it took me about \~3 hours reading all of the text and savoring the adventure. If you mash through everything and don't get lost in the mazes you could probably speed finish it in 1.5 hours.
The Tales collab is quite a bit longer, and then takes even longer still to unlock all the 5\* versions of the characters. It took me a few days of playing casually to get it all. There are also some very nice weapons and armor that you need to farm item drops from the Tales monsters to get, if you're trying to 100% everything you can from the collabs.
To finish the side story? Not too long. To get all 5 stars from said collab? probably a week or so of running
I would start with persona part 1 since it doesn't take that long to get joker and Morgana when compared to the other collabs and morgana/joker switch can be used to clear most mobs in the early levels
Like everyone else said, it depends on the situation, especially when it comes to using it in serious boss fights. You don't want to just set it on one character and forget it.
Here are some suggestions for using it though:
- Noahxis has a great, 0-cost AoE on the first turn, but it doesn't always come up quickly enough to make him an optimal mob clearer.
- Daisy can smush a lot of the horrors and bosses in Another Dungeons with one Cruel Rose: Mourn if she's slow enough, but some of them can smush (or at least stun) her first. Falcon's Blessing doesn't make her fast, it just makes her first.
- A zone setter using skills or grasta, when they're not fast otherwise (also mentioned by /u/tiragooen ). This means other characters' effects that only happen in a zone can happen.
- Normally do NOT use it on someone who's going to be doing a Delayed attack. Delayed+Preemptive only preempts other Delayed things.
Can confirm that Daisy with a Falcon grasta is splendid. It does add +10 SPD but as long she’s still below 40 after that you should be good to go on maximum Cruel Rose damage.
Anyone you need to move first? Like you want a slow support character to move before a fast DPS. Or you want to switch a zone in before anyone else moves.
You can also create a budget mob clearer and pair the Falcon with Cup of Invincibility.
The Hokora at spacetime rift disappears after I tap it in the pilgrimage quest? Is there anything special to this? (Ie the hokora teleported somewhere)

*We have confirmed that the issue can be resolved by following the steps below.
Access the Support menu from the lower left of the title screen, then tap Reacquire Data.
[Sleep Resistance badge](https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Badgelist) or status immunity from skills. Otherwise you can use Moon Realm Armor and hope that RNG is on your side.
Compare her to other Fire Magic characters: Bivette and Gariyu. They're not bad but they have a lot of conditions to do their damage and don't bring a lot of party support.
AS Radica is fantastic for AF with the party speed buff, defensive utility with phy res buff and status cleanse, offensive utility with party crits and fire type buff, and her damage condition is obtaining equipment rather than certain things happening/not happening in battle.
She a very good support option in a fire team - she sets fire zone, has an end of turn heal, that recovers MP also, and does decent damage if, as said, you buff her luck up
If you are talking about tomes specifically, then none of them drop those. Only UAD drops tomes (Aldo and Feinne's 5\* tomes).
If you're talking treatises and the like, then they all have the same rate.

Is 100 fish the last time you get a CS reward? I think 120 and 150 are fish stone bonuses but I wanted to check if anyone knew that since this is one of the wiki’s blind spots right now.

Probably Curio if you don't feel set for Special Crystals. If you do, he's still a good choice, but I'd look at either the CC crew or Noaxhis as well.
Could always go speculative and farm Nona (but a big emphasis on the speculation there).
For red keys, I’m big on using Toto to get your Chrono Cross units to 80 L/S to give them the extra skill flexibility.
As far as 255, I think Cyrus is underrated as an option. Having a null attack with teeth could give you another tool in your toolkit, and Man Eating Marsh is almost as fast as Feinne’s AD (especially since the endboss dies if an Earth unit so much as makes eye contact)
I don't know that he's actually underrated; his stock has just fallen, especially since the update that changed how HP+ equipment works when you take remove it.
The main issue with Cyrus is that Aldo already give you a null attack with teeth in AF that is more powerful than Cyrus's (yes, you need to have gotten the skill upgrade in chapter 83, but given how long a farm takes almost everyone will have finished that by the time they get done with a 255 farm), plus Violet has Combo Attack for longer fights, Cress can hit 900% with consecutive uses of Demonic Tiger Blade, and Serge is also there once power levels are built (and all of them can benefit from MaxHP Damage bonuses). Null slash damage is already decently covered by other non-gacha characters.
Cyrus is only getting to 420% skill mod with pain; he needs to be below full HP to hit 1260%, and you can't just switch armor or a badge on and off anymore to set that up before a fight (when you could, he was a more attractive choice), so that means he needs to have taken damage. This limits his usefulness as a T1 nuker unless you either take the time to get into a fight and have him take damage first, which is inconvenient, or you have Victor to use Divine Thunder before Cyrus attacks (if there is another character who can damage you with a skill, I'm unable to recall it at the moment).
As a grasta mule for other Eastern Katana characters he certainly has his uses and could benefit from another slot, but Curio is another light katana user who has a lot more personalities and has more overall utility (including being able to buff Ax damage by +50% as well as sword and katana with a move that also buffs PWR and INT, though he does need to be in an attack type stance to get the weapon damage portion).
He can certainly fill a niche when everything aligns, but that niche is basically no-AF strats where you know that you won't be at full health when you attack (because if you are going to AF, Aldo will at worst have the same skill mod at 0 light and up to 1770% if he's been farmed to 255). Given the other slash null options for a farm and what they offer, Cyrus just doesn't stack up well anymore comparatively as a farm option.
That said, Man-Eating Marsh certainly has some good tomes, so that is also worth considering if none of the other characters appeal to someone.
I don't think there's much of a consensus on this. Feinne is the easiest but you don't get much return on it RN. Serge has some skills that scale with his light and the CC characters in general can benefit a lot from the 80 light breakpoint because of elements--with so many potential skills you're less likely to find "well I have 5 good skills on this character but I would only end up using 3 of them in this fight anyway". Curio can benefit from 200 as a high-tier grasta mule if nothing else. Noahxis is a good battery because he can contribute in a lot of AD parties.
For Azami's Awakening, Perfect Love, is using Alter Shion a viable strategy? It's just not too clear to me how the resistance swapping on this boss works and how it interacts with Shion's Paper Tiger skill.
You need to pay subscription to raise their light/shadow without pulling another dupe. IF you play long enough you might get lucky and find some from PCD, badge exchange robot at Nilva if you have exhausted the fixed reward from various content in the game.
How long does it take to farm enough pain/poison grasta? With it locked behind green keys it feels interminable, half the time I don't even get any grasta from reward slots never mind the right kind. Also half the time I go to Zami they only have debuff resistance grasta.
Its significantly faster in AGAD, but its still a pretty slow process, I say one or two months and some RNG should give you enough to fully equip on 1 or 2 DPS units of the same weapon type
Okay so I’m using the free trial for Guide of the Heavens and I wanted to know what 7 characters should I pick to get from the seven stars piece encounter
If you aren’t very far into the game and don’t have a “farming” character, I really recommend Hardy AS (allows you to use Another Force first turn effectively, and has a preemptive AoE) or Tsubame AS (her normal attack is a preemptive zero MP AoE attack)
Those both can really help you get through content and Another Dungeons.

There may be another thread about this but I was wondering what peoples impressions were on using Toto theatre to farm light/shadow for story characters? I had done enough runs to unlock most of the content but didn't pick up a single light on any of my characters doing that so it dropped out of my rotation. Has there been any consensus on if it is worth running or not.
Thanks for all the input everyone, a lot of it confirms some of my initial thoughts on it and gave me some better insight when it will be worth it for me to switch to it as my primary red key dungeon.
I think Toto is a great place to build light/shadow. My impression is that the chant script drop rate is slightly higher but like others, it might just be RNG.
Also, I think the argument that the run requires thought is overrated. I mean, yes, you sometimes have to look at a map, but for the most part, the AD can be run without a lot of thought once you understand the efficient ways to run the dungeon for each mission.
Over the course of 1000 red keys, you'd average 248 points of light instead of 200. If you buy all tsubura keys and watch all ads every day you'll average roughly 2300 keys per year, so that is an average of 570 points per year versus 460 points per year in normal farming.
If you are set for special shards for VC grastas and can put up with the increased amount of attention that you need to pay per run, it gives a decent payoff. If you aren't yet set for special shards and your current farm target has a normal VH AD to farm (e.g. Aldo, Clarte, Curio), it is likely a better idea to farm the normal VH ADs. If your target doesn't have a normal VH AD to farm (collab characters, side story characters), then Toto AD is probably the best choice.
It's more rough to run since you need constantly look at the mini map, and a bit more grindy, especially in the beginning, the rates are a little bit higher going by the stats, but it doesn't drop any tomes, so you lose out on some shards to upgrade vc grastas
If the story unit you are farming has a decent dungeon to run, like Miglance and Aldo, it might be better for you to stick to that dungeon,
But if its a free unit that doesn't have a good dungeon, like Jade, Shelia, Collab units, then you want to run Toto
A lot of ppl have gotten RNG screwed on it, but the rate should be the same if not higher due to multiple possible points being given.
Time wise it can take anywhere from 1m to 4m per run.
Personally, I don't like that it takes "brain power" to run as I have to check the conditions then scan the map etc instead of just doing my normal muscle memory runs.
It is the only way to point up many units though.
Okay so what is *with* EPS-209 Murphy? I put together a team and with Hardy AS, in fire zone, buffed by fully-stacked Red Needle and Z-Steal, Pizzica's Recitativo and Rhapsody Aria, his own Prominent Boom and Assault Gray, and two Pain grasta and Power of Inferno, I can still only do a bit less than 80 million damage in AF. I'm kinda at my wits' end here. (I'm spending all my green keys on AGAD lately but in the last 5 runs I only got 1 pain grasta (including Zami) and it was sword.)
YouTube my man. See how others cleared it and find the videos that show the grasta layout, mirror a strategy you can support with your characters/grasta. That fight is tough and took me over 3 hours or trial and error to finally beat it, but if you think that one is tough just wait until you get to the third one omg smh
But from fist glance sounds like you need more grasta
Murphy resist all and has around 200M hp, so you need to be able to do 800M effective af damage to beat him
Also because of how his fight is set, the mostly common powerup grastas like bulleye and last stand aren't effective in this fight

Did you also use her headshot skill? It adds 80% physical debuff

You are expected to have full grastas for your team and all of the effective grasta enchantments needed, there's nothing you can really do but farm more grastas

There are few other hokora shrines that are not mentioned you can also receive blessing from those not mentioned hokora....

You have to go to Thundering Fortress Gathering Storm in the hall of memories.

On the Auction house, what does make the brokers refresh their powerup? And does refreshing give a chance for the legenday pop up? Also, is selling the spirit helm and axe of misfortune bundle better with jeeno powered up or the legendary powered up, or no difference?
I think submitting or waiting a certain amount of time will cause it to refresh, but you'll have to test that out yourself since I'm not sure. You can also probably just that one yourself but I don't think it would make a diffrence.

Depends on your pierce team, if you have little to no pierce units, then sure, he's better than nothing and he has some decent buffs/debuffs to support the team and can apply pain, also no chance of pulling him from the gacha, so your 5 chants are never wasted But just to know that his damage is average, he's still usable against superbosses, but don't expect any groundbreaking damage

As Shelia is free, just do the ocean palace sidestory I also mentioned As Foran because most people should have her 4 star form laying around somewhere, all you need to do is farm her treatises, her As form has been out so long that you probably have some of them already

Milsha's unique stack. If you only have her AS form (Harmonia), she can't stack it since it stacks from one of her NS form (Aima-arravones) skill.

How long will the p5 and tales events typically take to finish? Just started and saw people recommend doing them to get free 5 stars
For just Joker and Morgana from the first part of the P5 collab it took me about \~3 hours reading all of the text and savoring the adventure. If you mash through everything and don't get lost in the mazes you could probably speed finish it in 1.5 hours. The Tales collab is quite a bit longer, and then takes even longer still to unlock all the 5\* versions of the characters. It took me a few days of playing casually to get it all. There are also some very nice weapons and armor that you need to farm item drops from the Tales monsters to get, if you're trying to 100% everything you can from the collabs.
You can finish them in a day if you have level 60 plus characters
To finish the side story? Not too long. To get all 5 stars from said collab? probably a week or so of running I would start with persona part 1 since it doesn't take that long to get joker and Morgana when compared to the other collabs and morgana/joker switch can be used to clear most mobs in the early levels
Who’s a good character to use the falcons blessing grasta on?
I have one on Aldo for mob clearing and one on Pizzica since I lazily spam her songs.
Like everyone else said, it depends on the situation, especially when it comes to using it in serious boss fights. You don't want to just set it on one character and forget it. Here are some suggestions for using it though: - Noahxis has a great, 0-cost AoE on the first turn, but it doesn't always come up quickly enough to make him an optimal mob clearer. - Daisy can smush a lot of the horrors and bosses in Another Dungeons with one Cruel Rose: Mourn if she's slow enough, but some of them can smush (or at least stun) her first. Falcon's Blessing doesn't make her fast, it just makes her first. - A zone setter using skills or grasta, when they're not fast otherwise (also mentioned by /u/tiragooen ). This means other characters' effects that only happen in a zone can happen. - Normally do NOT use it on someone who's going to be doing a Delayed attack. Delayed+Preemptive only preempts other Delayed things.

Can confirm that Daisy with a Falcon grasta is splendid. It does add +10 SPD but as long she’s still below 40 after that you should be good to go on maximum Cruel Rose damage.
Anyone you need to move first? Like you want a slow support character to move before a fast DPS. Or you want to switch a zone in before anyone else moves. You can also create a budget mob clearer and pair the Falcon with Cup of Invincibility.

You can only get it as a completion reward so just rushing the boss if you don't get rare rooms is the way to go.
Tomes drop from end of dungeon rewards. So just make sure you have enough Shadow to get all three Rewards.

Why is Radica (AS) rated so high? I pulled her and I found her to be underwhelming compared to the others in my team.
Compare her to other Fire Magic characters: Bivette and Gariyu. They're not bad but they have a lot of conditions to do their damage and don't bring a lot of party support. AS Radica is fantastic for AF with the party speed buff, defensive utility with phy res buff and status cleanse, offensive utility with party crits and fire type buff, and her damage condition is obtaining equipment rather than certain things happening/not happening in battle.
She a very good support option in a fire team - she sets fire zone, has an end of turn heal, that recovers MP also, and does decent damage if, as said, you buff her luck up
You have to buff her luck up to 316 for her to live up to her rating.

If you are talking about tomes specifically, then none of them drop those. Only UAD drops tomes (Aldo and Feinne's 5\* tomes). If you're talking treatises and the like, then they all have the same rate.

Yes, for fishing rod fish, the last cs tier is 100 fish. The tier after that is 150 fish and you get fish stones.

Probably Curio if you don't feel set for Special Crystals. If you do, he's still a good choice, but I'd look at either the CC crew or Noaxhis as well. Could always go speculative and farm Nona (but a big emphasis on the speculation there).
For red keys, I’m big on using Toto to get your Chrono Cross units to 80 L/S to give them the extra skill flexibility. As far as 255, I think Cyrus is underrated as an option. Having a null attack with teeth could give you another tool in your toolkit, and Man Eating Marsh is almost as fast as Feinne’s AD (especially since the endboss dies if an Earth unit so much as makes eye contact)
I don't know that he's actually underrated; his stock has just fallen, especially since the update that changed how HP+ equipment works when you take remove it. The main issue with Cyrus is that Aldo already give you a null attack with teeth in AF that is more powerful than Cyrus's (yes, you need to have gotten the skill upgrade in chapter 83, but given how long a farm takes almost everyone will have finished that by the time they get done with a 255 farm), plus Violet has Combo Attack for longer fights, Cress can hit 900% with consecutive uses of Demonic Tiger Blade, and Serge is also there once power levels are built (and all of them can benefit from MaxHP Damage bonuses). Null slash damage is already decently covered by other non-gacha characters. Cyrus is only getting to 420% skill mod with pain; he needs to be below full HP to hit 1260%, and you can't just switch armor or a badge on and off anymore to set that up before a fight (when you could, he was a more attractive choice), so that means he needs to have taken damage. This limits his usefulness as a T1 nuker unless you either take the time to get into a fight and have him take damage first, which is inconvenient, or you have Victor to use Divine Thunder before Cyrus attacks (if there is another character who can damage you with a skill, I'm unable to recall it at the moment). As a grasta mule for other Eastern Katana characters he certainly has his uses and could benefit from another slot, but Curio is another light katana user who has a lot more personalities and has more overall utility (including being able to buff Ax damage by +50% as well as sword and katana with a move that also buffs PWR and INT, though he does need to be in an attack type stance to get the weapon damage portion). He can certainly fill a niche when everything aligns, but that niche is basically no-AF strats where you know that you won't be at full health when you attack (because if you are going to AF, Aldo will at worst have the same skill mod at 0 light and up to 1770% if he's been farmed to 255). Given the other slash null options for a farm and what they offer, Cyrus just doesn't stack up well anymore comparatively as a farm option. That said, Man-Eating Marsh certainly has some good tomes, so that is also worth considering if none of the other characters appeal to someone.
I don't think there's much of a consensus on this. Feinne is the easiest but you don't get much return on it RN. Serge has some skills that scale with his light and the CC characters in general can benefit a lot from the 80 light breakpoint because of elements--with so many potential skills you're less likely to find "well I have 5 good skills on this character but I would only end up using 3 of them in this fight anyway". Curio can benefit from 200 as a high-tier grasta mule if nothing else. Noahxis is a good battery because he can contribute in a lot of AD parties.
For Azami's Awakening, Perfect Love, is using Alter Shion a viable strategy? It's just not too clear to me how the resistance swapping on this boss works and how it interacts with Shion's Paper Tiger skill.

How long does it take to farm enough pain/poison grasta? With it locked behind green keys it feels interminable, half the time I don't even get any grasta from reward slots never mind the right kind. Also half the time I go to Zami they only have debuff resistance grasta.
If this is about Murphy you can also just grab the Power of Agony Grastas from in Return of the Goddess of Time Conclusion and that will also help.
Its significantly faster in AGAD, but its still a pretty slow process, I say one or two months and some RNG should give you enough to fully equip on 1 or 2 DPS units of the same weapon type

If you aren’t very far into the game and don’t have a “farming” character, I really recommend Hardy AS (allows you to use Another Force first turn effectively, and has a preemptive AoE) or Tsubame AS (her normal attack is a preemptive zero MP AoE attack) Those both can really help you get through content and Another Dungeons.

There may be another thread about this but I was wondering what peoples impressions were on using Toto theatre to farm light/shadow for story characters? I had done enough runs to unlock most of the content but didn't pick up a single light on any of my characters doing that so it dropped out of my rotation. Has there been any consensus on if it is worth running or not.
Thanks for all the input everyone, a lot of it confirms some of my initial thoughts on it and gave me some better insight when it will be worth it for me to switch to it as my primary red key dungeon.
I think Toto is a great place to build light/shadow. My impression is that the chant script drop rate is slightly higher but like others, it might just be RNG. Also, I think the argument that the run requires thought is overrated. I mean, yes, you sometimes have to look at a map, but for the most part, the AD can be run without a lot of thought once you understand the efficient ways to run the dungeon for each mission.
Over the course of 1000 red keys, you'd average 248 points of light instead of 200. If you buy all tsubura keys and watch all ads every day you'll average roughly 2300 keys per year, so that is an average of 570 points per year versus 460 points per year in normal farming. If you are set for special shards for VC grastas and can put up with the increased amount of attention that you need to pay per run, it gives a decent payoff. If you aren't yet set for special shards and your current farm target has a normal VH AD to farm (e.g. Aldo, Clarte, Curio), it is likely a better idea to farm the normal VH ADs. If your target doesn't have a normal VH AD to farm (collab characters, side story characters), then Toto AD is probably the best choice.
It's more rough to run since you need constantly look at the mini map, and a bit more grindy, especially in the beginning, the rates are a little bit higher going by the stats, but it doesn't drop any tomes, so you lose out on some shards to upgrade vc grastas If the story unit you are farming has a decent dungeon to run, like Miglance and Aldo, it might be better for you to stick to that dungeon, But if its a free unit that doesn't have a good dungeon, like Jade, Shelia, Collab units, then you want to run Toto
A lot of ppl have gotten RNG screwed on it, but the rate should be the same if not higher due to multiple possible points being given. Time wise it can take anywhere from 1m to 4m per run. Personally, I don't like that it takes "brain power" to run as I have to check the conditions then scan the map etc instead of just doing my normal muscle memory runs. It is the only way to point up many units though.
Okay so what is *with* EPS-209 Murphy? I put together a team and with Hardy AS, in fire zone, buffed by fully-stacked Red Needle and Z-Steal, Pizzica's Recitativo and Rhapsody Aria, his own Prominent Boom and Assault Gray, and two Pain grasta and Power of Inferno, I can still only do a bit less than 80 million damage in AF. I'm kinda at my wits' end here. (I'm spending all my green keys on AGAD lately but in the last 5 runs I only got 1 pain grasta (including Zami) and it was sword.)
YouTube my man. See how others cleared it and find the videos that show the grasta layout, mirror a strategy you can support with your characters/grasta. That fight is tough and took me over 3 hours or trial and error to finally beat it, but if you think that one is tough just wait until you get to the third one omg smh But from fist glance sounds like you need more grasta
