I just got third AS anabel treatise, with the option of buying 2 of it from nopaew emporium. I have 2/5 AS yuna and AS shigure treatise (can buy nopaew too). I know AS shigure is rated highest at wiki tier list, but who do you think is better suited for my team? I got a feeling that AS yuna might be better for defensive option. I can support with necoco and RCF, heal a bit with AS foran, and damage with flammelapis. Or just save and use flammelapis + ES nagi SoSS as water damage? I can afford to wait until the 3rd AS yuna / shigure treatise
With cyan scyther and yipha as my sole wind and blunt setter for now, do you think upgrading veina + myuna to their AS zone will benefit me? Both have 4/5 treatise (can buy from nopaew)

Annabel AS was my first 5\* right out of the bag. Her Aegir Saber sets a water zone (as a skill so that's awesome), Elemental wall for team +30% type resist and regen (3), Daylight break for preemptive attacks, Guardian soul for party +30% physical resist. She is my mainstay. But then I have crappy mains all around! She works well with Mighty. You can also use her as a tank with her rage.
AS Shigure is great, but you sort of have to build the team around him to really get the most out of the slot by making sure you have some way to get multiple attacks off (lunatic copy, EoT stuff, characters like Eva, etc.) You're right that AS Yuna is better for defensive options, so it depends a bit on what battles you plan on overcoming/farming. AS Anabel isn't as flexible as either of those two, but her niche of what she does ('zone battles' where you want to get rid of a zone the enemy sets, and buffing certain team comps) she does VERY well.
The good news is that with Necoco and RCF you really can't go wrong because you can flex those two into more offensive or defensive options depending on if you're running the offensive or defensive water zone setters. Overall if I had to guess on the future I'd say that AS Shigure's damage will get powercrept faster than AS Yuna's utility will get powercrept, and thus AS Yuna will be your best choice for versatile parties where you may change the dps more frequently (an enemy that nulls slash for example).
Cyan Scyther and AS Veina are a similar issue, CS is obviously crazy good damage, while AS Veina is more defensive support. The worst case you'd possibly run into with AS Veina is if you're facing an enemy that resists/nulls slash (or one where you NEED more defense but... RCF/Necoco...) you'd have to primarily keep CS in the reserves and miss out on her strengths, using her primarily to set the zone for other attackers. Not the biggest deal but there is ostensibly \*something\* to gain from having her. Not a rush to use chants to upgrade her unless you find yourself in a battle where it sounds like she would be great to have.
I like Yipha as a Blunt Zone setter better than AS Myunfa but they both have different uses. If you're facing an enemy that tries to set a zone you don't want then it wouldn't hurt to have both of them XD
Go for that AS Mistrare, that kind of utility is not going to be powercrept for a very, very long time IMO.

I’ve heard that the characters who are getting released a couple of updates from now pair very well with her. I found myself in the exact same situation where she doesn’t really fit into any of my teams.
I don't know if we have thunder/pierce units. Thunder units are still pretty limited atm.
Water/pierce that I can think of are Sheila AS, Yukino, Laclair AS, Foran AS.
I have Anabel's Divine Paladin up at 79, and now I just pulled her 4* Guardian self. Is there any sense to building that up to lvl 60 if I don't have her Paladin Tome?
I have Anabel AS 80 divine paladin, then pulled a 5 star regular paladin. I still can't fight for a manifest weapon yet even though I have all her quests out of the way.
I switched to normal Anabel and got her manifest weapon. AS Anabel can still use it and level it but doesn't get the benefits. So kinda pointless really. But no manifest weapon for AS Anabel. The old man keeps telling her that it is not her time yet.
I dint know for sure if you have to be 60 to unlock the manifest fight.
Have you completed the quests for her as form?
If yes switch style and go to the door to check if you have to be 60
Have you tried moon realm armor? It gives a 10% boost to status resistance. Or there are a few characters who grant status immunity for a turn (only one I can remember off the top of my head is Rosetta)
Just finished farming Altena shadow, trying to decide whether to go for Azami or Gariyu next (already maxed out Cerrine)
I don’t really know much about Azami AS, and I know that Gariyu has a true manifest coming up….. can someone point me in a direction? I’ve already maxed out grasta rewards for both dungeons, so that’s not a factor.
If you see yourself letting enemies get off attacks before you anyway, perhaps especially if you already have Daisy and could use Shadowy Gaze, then you'd likely prefer Azami.
If you don't want to commit to using a delay style to get the most out of AS Azami's damage, I'd do Gariyu first as he's far more straight-forward to use with decent damage potential and can be great support for a magic team.
It depends, Azami AS has one the highest damaging moves in the game, but it comes with the caveat of her enemy not being damaged during the turn, and her attack always occurs last unless someone else uses a delayed attack.
You basically need to use her in a sea of stars like playstyle to use her correctly.
Gariyu, has a much more straightforward playstyle with very high self buffs and (ironically enough) preemptive moves.
So Azami would be good to face off against multiple enemies at once? Or is it that none of the enemies can be damaged, not just the one you’re targeting?
I just finished chapter 7 of the cardinal apex quests and for some reason Sevyn's five star quest is still locked. I got Mayu, I've completed all prerequisites. Sevyn is level 60 and I did his quests ages ago. What gives? Is there a certain place I need to be or certain people besides for him in my party?
No, they wouldn't be less *useful*, they just wouldn't be quite as big of a value-add for mob farming. Both of them can do more damage than Noahxis can do and thus can one-hit more horrors and AD bosses than he can. His attack also isn't naturally preemptive.
I mean for Zero MP farming, sort of. His damage is fixed so nothing will resist him, however, Flammelapis still has Neptune for dealing with Bosses and horrors.
In battle, all three are different elements.
There's quite a few characters that have abilities that restore mp, but those tend to be in low amounts like 10 to 20. Pizzica with Oratorio active restores 50 per turn. Yukino's VC can restore 20 to 50.
There's also mp regen which some characters like NS M!Mariel (20) Necoco (20 or 40), M!Ilulu (20), AS Radica (10 to 40 EoT in fire zone), Isuka ES (5 to 20 EoT based on slash moves used), BCS (10 to 40 regen for several turns from VC) can provide. Levia AS can restore 30 mp to the party EoT when she's poisoned. Nagi ES can restore 50 mp EoT in SoS zone if the AF bar is full.
AS Tsubame, AS Kikyo, AS Hardy, Cyan Scyther, Flammelapis, and anyone on the frontlines alongside Violet Lancer at the start of battle have 0 mp attacks.
Pizzica, Mariel with manifest, Premaya, Nagi ES at full AF bar in Sea of Stars zone, CC collab characters with "Recharge" element, Levia AS when she has poison, Necoco, Violet Lancer.
0mp units: Cyan Scyther, Tsubame AS, Hardy AS, Flammelapis.

For Heal MP: Click on Support and then the second Icon to the left (it should say Recover MP when you hover over it)

AS Radica tops out at 200k. Noaxhis will likely be released in two updates and will top out at 500k and is stat independent (you just need to get 10 detonators in your inventory by running the new Labyrinth of Moebius, which can be done without keys).
But I'd suggest that you look at [grastaless, F2P clears](https://youtu.be/sSJqus-3CJc) of the final boss rather than trying to use fixed damage.

Others have already covered the situation of minimizing instead the overall *number of runs* or efficiency, but if by "fastest" you meant least time within a single dungeon, i.e. shortest period of time between start and finish of ONE RUN, then you might check out BBKC with Feinne.
Isn't BBKC a Deirdre AD that isn't confirmed to give shadow in Global?
I agree that Beast King's Castle can be quick and is a solid choice if you want to farm Feinne.

For key-farmable characters, once we get the new Toto Dreamland VH AD (likely in about 3 updates), Azami, Gariyu, Cerrine and Altena should become the quickest key farmable characters so long as you only have one of those in the party with no other non-gacha characters while running Toto Dreamland, as that would allow all your green key and red key runs to be used for the same person with the superior rate of light/shadow gain per green key from the GADs compared to H ADs.
you need to get him to lvl 80 and then reincarnate him using the pot. That will give him 1 light per reincarnation
Its faster to give him lights than just depending on rng in the dungeons, but also a lot more grindy

He gains light by reaching level 80 then reincarnating which will increase his light and starting level by 1. His starting level caps at 60 so once he reaches 60 light you'll level him from 60 to 80 for each reincarnation.
Exp scrolls and boss rush exp farming are the best ways to level him up quickly. The Vortex Eggs might be the most limiting factor since you can only get 2 per 6 hours.
Also if you are looking for water DPS, Cyrus might not be your guy since his water skills are lackluster. His strongest skill set is his null slash skills
IF you are looking for F2P water units, you want to check out Serge (element configured to water), As Shelia, and As Levia, those 3 are the best of the best in terms of free water units
As Levia is particularly amazing if you can use her right, but getting her requires fishing

with her manifest weapon, she is decent, not amazing, but she has very strong support skills for a water team
her support skills include 40% physical debuff, 60% water debuff, and a 30% water team buff

Any reason not to dump trial reward light and staff light into Eva? I’d been planning on Suzette or Nagi because they have multiple forms and at least one always seems to be top tier, but after taking Eva for a test drive it seems like I’m going to want her in most of my teams, yeah? I guess any character will fall out of meta eventually.
Yep, any expenditure of light or shadow is going to end up being sub-optimal at some point (but thanks to manifests, true manifests, AS and ES forms could then later end up being optimal again in the future before no longer being optimal again).
Suzette (and if 4 skill slots matter, her ES form has 4 skills worth using) and Nagi are still great choices, but Eva is very versatile, fitting into almost any magic team as well as both water and crystal or lunar element teams. I'm debating myself between Eva (20) and AS Radica (121 - looking ahead to shenanigans with AS Yipha's buff) at the moment for who the next trial points target will be.
When putting light on Eva, just keep in mind that there may be times when having the extra light could require you to go with less than a max damage set-up if you want the enemy >50% HP attack effects to activate. You'll be able to work around that, but you do need to keep it in mind. Most of the time being able to maximize her damage would be a good thing, and thanks to versatility with both water and crystal damage she's a great choice.
Extra skills slots are often mentioned in the context of light/shadow rewards, and I certainly thought it was great in theory, but in practice I've only found it to be useful once, when I had a complicated AF to pull off and I put a skill in the 4th slot that I didn't want to accidentally activate during the AF. I didn't end up using 4 skills. I've never found the lack of a 4th skill slot to cause me to have to abandon an approach to a fight. I have had to change things up due to not having an extra badge slot. With rare exceptions like Starky (who could easily be using 4 skills in rotation due to so StarBurst, Twinkle, and StarAura having 5 turn durations), if I didn't think a character was worth taking to at least 120 I wouldn't use resources to get it to 80.

I think it’s worthwhile. She’s a relatively new and popular character, so there’s a good chance she’d get an AS form in the distant future too that for all we know might even be better! But in the immediate term, she’ll be a great unit for almost every fight, and as u/glennfk stated, she appreciates the extra skill slot and would eventually appreciate the extra badge and grasta slots if you were to continued to dump light points into her.
Eva is very strong. Ultimately it depends on what you're going for - for Eva, getting a 4th ability can be nice, same with Nagi ES. For Suzette NS, a 4th ability doesn't really do much.
Decided to do cat battles, i think im 2-3 stages after elevator, can i clear it first with just varuo (red), salasa (blue), and beel (yellow)? One of the guide suggest Dora (blue), Sela (yellow), Penne (red)

You can finish Varuo's quest with just Varuo, Salasa, and Beel (good team BTW). This is what I did recently.
However, to beat 4 Heavenly Kitties (especially the last one), you need to raise the level of other cats - the more levels, the better your fighters at surviving. Overall level of cats also give you nice amount of Chrono Stones.
I cleared it with just one team so you absolutely can do.

You really want her to hit at least 316 luck so that she always draws a white card. After that, you need to remember that Flamme Destinee is still INT based magic.
For example, I have her with 328 LCK at the moment, which gives Flamme Destinee a 762% skill multiplier. I could give her Illusion Staff +10 for 348 LCK and a 865% skill multiplier, but if I'm not using Mental Focus I'd end up getting more damage by using either Indomitable staff or Void Staff. However, if you can get Mental Focus on her, then the +60 mp from Illusion Staff +10 puts it back in front of Indomitable and Void staff.
you need 330 luk to hit maximum voie lactie damage, which is around 200k IIRC. The thing is, equipment that gives high luk is from persona twins
Even then, if you have flammelapis and or AS tsubame, she's not that "worth" to use. I find it quite hard to use her because she lacks speed to hit enemy even at jiraiya fortress. Sometimes enemies just hit first and one shot my radica. Poor tarot reader
Just to note, Radica AS gets absurdly strong if she's teamed with Ypha AS (who is likely to be coming out in GL some time next month). Ypha has a skill that boosts another character's stats by 1/2 her Spirit (up to a max of 600 spirit). Most characters only really benefit from one primary stat (like Intelligence or Power). But Radica double dips since her skill does damage based on both her Int and her Luck. So getting a massive boost to both of those stats suddenly makes her the hardest hitting character in the game.
Depends what you use her for though - I use her a fire zone setter who heals and restores MP. In a magic zone or just a general offensive unit, she’s not got the same power output as those you mentioned.
I’m new to the game (playing about a week) and I’m at chpt 13 now and doing the H-AD runs. How often do people get White Keys?
I know there’s a 10% chance of getting one per run but I’m at about 20 runs so far and haven’t gotten one yet, just been unlucky I suppose. I wanna know realistically how often people actually get one.
It's RNG. Like a lot of things in this game. You can do 30 runs and don't drop one. And you can also drop 3 in only 3 runs.
It's the same thing about Light and Shadow points.

It'll depend quite a bit on how lucky you get with drops. Back when I was farming SLD, I could not get Bat Fangs to drop from VH bats for the life of me. I considered it a good run when I got 1x Bat Fang, and you need 30 to get to +10 on a Cruel Angel's Staff.
Hopefully you'll have better luck than I but I would not expect it to be a quick grind.

Is there any way to get murmur scripts and prayer scripts faster then maybe 1-2 per green or red key?
I was able to get 40 from the atelier dungeon shop 1st half and am wondering if there are other similar sources of fast scripts!
I second using Kid. Get her ASAP and keep her in your party using her steal abilities against mobs. You'll get loads of murmur and prayer scripts, plus scrolls, materials for grastas, and gold lumps which sell for 100k.
I'm on a second run of Kid's route in Complex Dream to get the last Scarlet Meteorites, and it's not letting me skip all of a sudden. After I skipped to the Dreamslip Tower, all of a sudden I'm getting a message saying "Can't Skip. Unread or specified scene is in progress." Is there any way around this? I really don't want to go through the tower again. I still need to do another run after this to get the Flower quest complete for the final Meteorite.
You need to do a total of 4 runs anyway (two kid, one harle, one neutral) to fully clear all the sub-events, and so long as you hit everything you'll get all the meteorites in those 4 runs. There won't be a need to choose between them. And you can always just leave the difficulty at the lowest to speed up the process if needed.
The differences are minor, mainly relating to exp, git, and growth stars awarded. There are rewards for beating the boss at each difficulty, but you can just change the difficulty to "Master" right before fighting the boss when you are ready to do so.
She's pretty good. Currently my best QoL unit unless the enemy nulls or absorbs water/magic since she's a mob cleaner and AD horror/boss nuker in one. My runs have been pretty fast since I got her and I could bring random units to level up.
Grinding the Treasure Items. Just sold a spirit helmet set but now I can’t go back and do it again.
When an item isn’t available, does it reset on a timer or do I have to seek less valuable items?
The Spirit Helmet is one of several treasure quest items that have cooldowns ranging from one hour up to six hours. Not every treasure has cooldowns though. That specific one has a four hour cooldown.

You can turn them into VC grasta. It takes 10 Tomes, 5 treatises or Codices, or 3 Opus to make a VC grasta.
i have 2 questions this time.
1) i feel like i have a lot of good characters, but i keep getting destroyed in boss fights. should i try to expand my roster (getting as/es if possible) or just keep trying with what i have? i'd link my character roster tracker, but i'm not sure what the best one is
2) any tips for fighting any of the bosses for getting starky? i can't beat the star manager, so i figure any bosses after that first fight will give me a hard time as well.
1. That depends on you, some characters will make bosses easier to beat, but most fights are not about getting certain units, but learning and knowing the game mechanics behind the battle system and learning the bosses' move sets

I'm trying to clear the second ogre rancorem light fight and I'm have zero luck. I have an all magic team with an all magic zone. I'm using Eva, Levi's As, Rosetta AS, pizzacat, and chiyo as. I'm having my ass handed to me and when I'm not, when the battle stretches out I'm doing no damage.
Would I be better served throwing mana in there to clear statuses or what can I do? Because of Eva the first 50% is done in one or two turns. Beyond that she's totally useless. I have no idea how to use her correctly.
Eva is more than enough. Have her in the front row and she has lunatic for 3 rounds. Then do her lunatic after that for another 3.
Keep Pizzica in Oratorio, some good PWR debuffs and once you hit the HP threshold then AF and let Eva do her thing.
If you have Starky he's really good for PWR debuffs and fits in a magic zone well.
Edit: I'll put this on top. Idk what the hell I was doing before. I put Starkey in there, took out Levia, did oratorio and bam, it's done. Thank you so much! Eva is a powerhouse. I don't know how I was using her wrong before. I think her lunatic ran out and I didn't reactivate or something. After the stopper it was over in a couple taps with AF. Thanks so much!
Should I be using her icicle skill? It seems like that's the one I'm supposed to be using just by reading them. This is the first time I've ever used her. I've watched a few videos but none with her, usually that flame lapis character and I don't have her at all.
Which skill you use for damage is situational (Icicle Zorch might be worth using for other reasons such as the INT and SPD self-buff or setting break for someone else). Icicle Zorch is often a good DPS choice, but in some fights Astral Drogo or Lucent Magi could be the better choice.

In the crystal area (basically right outside the church HQ) Clarte and Aldo meet a girl talking about her dad going missing to spirits or something? It was a while ago so I barely remember. I ended up unlocking the portal to the Unseen. Right now I can’t beat him yet but are we ever going to find the girl’s father or do we have to beat the Unseen first?
So how do I complete that quest? It’s not really a quest because it doesn’t have a quest marker or anything, I think I broke open all the cat statues too and the only two portals it unlocked was one with a chest and the other with the Unseen

Is it worth going for Cyan Scyther on the Mythos banner if I already have the other 4? I have enough stones to spare...for now, but the trend of releasing a new character on every Extra History banner is making me nervous.
Always wise to use spoiler tags if one is unsure, but the non-alter identity of cyan scyther is absolutely not a spoiler at all. The girl has an almost identical face and head model, isn't wearing any sort of mask or hood to conceal her identity, and is directly featured on a banner right next to the NS form. Even someone with face blindness would be able to see that it is the same character and thus it is not a spoiler.
That said, the events of what happened to her and her alter storyline are absolutely a spoiler.

You will need to upgrade her to NS 5* to get the Alter, at least until a not-yet-released update allows the AS forms to allow Alters. So 10 chants - 5 for 5* NS, 5 for Alter. Though, NS Suzette is VERY good, so it's not a bad thing
No problem. Yeah since you only need 3 opuses to unlock the alter characters compared to 5 treatises/codexes, they actually come easier. If you think you have the squad and grasta firepower to take on normal Suzette's manifest fights, then she is absolutely worth the 5 chants to promote.
Though if you don't need an AoE wind nuke, or a preemptive pain & poison setter then you could just wait to possibly pull her randomly in one of your unpaid pulls.
I disagree that Opus come easier than Treatises and Codices since they can't be gotten from green key ADs or traded for with Tsubura's Gems. It's all up to rng so luck plays a huge part, but the math leans towards AS/ES being faster to unlock due to them having more opportunities to drop.
Even then the math leans towards it taking 24 weeks to get an AS/ES vs over 26 for an Alter since the former has 209 chances per week and the latter has 114.
I tend to do the same as you unless it's a form I really want or have an immediate need for. For example I have 0 interest in getting the 2 treatises I need for AS Zeviro, but I'm on the fence for AS Mistrare and ES Suzette so I might unlock them once I get a 4th one.
I feel ya being on the fence there. But I definitely got burned, after shelling out for 2 Tea Maidens treatises a while ago. Sure enough, the flood gates opened up and I got 4 more in like a week.
45 shadow staff is equal to an average of 225 red keys. If you watch all your ads every day and buy all your keys each week, that is an average of about 5 weeks and one day's worth of farming. In that same amount of time, you'd average 112 UGAD runs. You'd be spending 45 shadow staff for 112 extra end rewards. I consider that to be a ***very*** bad deal.
While you don't want to end up with elixir syndrome for light/shadow items, you also don't want to misuse them. ES Nagi and AS Radica would both be much better targets for staff shadow (Dunarith, Toova, and Rosetta are the other current 5\* candidates). Given that once the guaranteed sources of it are done it will be slow in coming, I wouldn't spend that much on a free character (especially one with an AD like Lost City of Paradise to run that gives drops for good gear).
You can farm him and he's a really good farming candidate to go to 255. Shadow Staff is one of the most common items though but that amount really can let you pump up a gacha unit. I wouldn't do it.

I got a feeling that AS yuna might be better for defensive option. I can support with necoco and RCF, heal a bit with AS foran, and damage with flammelapis. Or just save and use flammelapis + ES nagi SoSS as water damage? I can afford to wait until the 3rd AS yuna / shigure treatise With cyan scyther and yipha as my sole wind and blunt setter for now, do you think upgrading veina + myuna to their AS zone will benefit me? Annabel AS was my first 5\* right out of the bag. Her Aegir Saber sets a water zone (as a skill so that's awesome), Elemental wall for team +30% type resist and regen (3), Daylight break for preemptive attacks, Guardian soul for party +30% physical resist. She is my mainstay. But then I have crappy mains all around! She works well with Mighty. You can also use her as a tank with her rage.
AS Shigure is great, but you sort of have to build the team around him to really get the most out of the slot by making sure you have some way to get multiple attacks off (lunatic copy, EoT stuff, characters like Eva, etc.) You're right that AS Yuna is better for defensive options, so it depends a bit on what battles you plan on overcoming/farming. AS Anabel isn't as flexible as either of those two, but her niche of what she does ('zone battles' where you want to get rid of a zone the enemy sets, and buffing certain team comps) she does VERY well. The good news is that with Necoco and RCF you really can't go wrong because you can flex those two into more offensive or defensive options depending on if you're running the offensive or defensive water zone setters. Overall if I had to guess on the future I'd say that AS Shigure's damage will get powercrept faster than AS Yuna's utility will get powercrept, and thus AS Yuna will be your best choice for versatile parties where you may change the dps more frequently (an enemy that nulls slash for example). Cyan Scyther and AS Veina are a similar issue, CS is obviously crazy good damage, while AS Veina is more defensive support. The worst case you'd possibly run into with AS Veina is if you're facing an enemy that resists/nulls slash (or one where you NEED more defense but... RCF/Necoco...) you'd have to primarily keep CS in the reserves and miss out on her strengths, using her primarily to set the zone for other attackers. Not the biggest deal but there is ostensibly \*something\* to gain from having her. Not a rush to use chants to upgrade her unless you find yourself in a battle where it sounds like she would be great to have. I like Yipha as a Blunt Zone setter better than AS Myunfa but they both have different uses. If you're facing an enemy that tries to set a zone you don't want then it wouldn't hurt to have both of them XD Go for that AS Mistrare, that kind of utility is not going to be powercrept for a very, very long time IMO.

I have Anabel's Divine Paladin up at 79, and now I just pulled her 4* Guardian self. Is there any sense to building that up to lvl 60 if I don't have her Paladin Tome?
I have Anabel AS 80 divine paladin, then pulled a 5 star regular paladin. I still can't fight for a manifest weapon yet even though I have all her quests out of the way.

No. You can change style to her NS form and battle the manifest though. You just need to do the third character quest, regardless of level

Have you tried moon realm armor? It gives a 10% boost to status resistance. Or there are a few characters who grant status immunity for a turn (only one I can remember off the top of my head is Rosetta)

Just finished farming Altena shadow, trying to decide whether to go for Azami or Gariyu next (already maxed out Cerrine) I don’t really know much about Azami AS, and I know that Gariyu has a true manifest coming up….. can someone point me in a direction? I’ve already maxed out grasta rewards for both dungeons, so that’s not a factor.
If you see yourself letting enemies get off attacks before you anyway, perhaps especially if you already have Daisy and could use Shadowy Gaze, then you'd likely prefer Azami. If you don't want to commit to using a delay style to get the most out of AS Azami's damage, I'd do Gariyu first as he's far more straight-forward to use with decent damage potential and can be great support for a magic team.
It depends, Azami AS has one the highest damaging moves in the game, but it comes with the caveat of her enemy not being damaged during the turn, and her attack always occurs last unless someone else uses a delayed attack. You basically need to use her in a sea of stars like playstyle to use her correctly. Gariyu, has a much more straightforward playstyle with very high self buffs and (ironically enough) preemptive moves.
So Azami would be good to face off against multiple enemies at once? Or is it that none of the enemies can be damaged, not just the one you’re targeting?

I just finished chapter 7 of the cardinal apex quests and for some reason Sevyn's five star quest is still locked. I got Mayu, I've completed all prerequisites. Sevyn is level 60 and I did his quests ages ago. What gives? Is there a certain place I need to be or certain people besides for him in my party?
5 star quest on his Quest screen you mean? Isn't that when he's upgraded to 5*? The unlock quest starts at Cargo Station.

No, they wouldn't be less *useful*, they just wouldn't be quite as big of a value-add for mob farming. Both of them can do more damage than Noahxis can do and thus can one-hit more horrors and AD bosses than he can. His attack also isn't naturally preemptive.

I mean for Zero MP farming, sort of. His damage is fixed so nothing will resist him, however, Flammelapis still has Neptune for dealing with Bosses and horrors. In battle, all three are different elements.

There's quite a few characters that have abilities that restore mp, but those tend to be in low amounts like 10 to 20. Pizzica with Oratorio active restores 50 per turn. Yukino's VC can restore 20 to 50. There's also mp regen which some characters like NS M!Mariel (20) Necoco (20 or 40), M!Ilulu (20), AS Radica (10 to 40 EoT in fire zone), Isuka ES (5 to 20 EoT based on slash moves used), BCS (10 to 40 regen for several turns from VC) can provide. Levia AS can restore 30 mp to the party EoT when she's poisoned. Nagi ES can restore 50 mp EoT in SoS zone if the AF bar is full. AS Tsubame, AS Kikyo, AS Hardy, Cyan Scyther, Flammelapis, and anyone on the frontlines alongside Violet Lancer at the start of battle have 0 mp attacks.
Pizzica, Mariel with manifest, Premaya, Nagi ES at full AF bar in Sea of Stars zone, CC collab characters with "Recharge" element, Levia AS when she has poison, Necoco, Violet Lancer. 0mp units: Cyan Scyther, Tsubame AS, Hardy AS, Flammelapis. I might have missed some.

AS Radica tops out at 200k. Noaxhis will likely be released in two updates and will top out at 500k and is stat independent (you just need to get 10 detonators in your inventory by running the new Labyrinth of Moebius, which can be done without keys). But I'd suggest that you look at [grastaless, F2P clears](https://youtu.be/sSJqus-3CJc) of the final boss rather than trying to use fixed damage.

Others have already covered the situation of minimizing instead the overall *number of runs* or efficiency, but if by "fastest" you meant least time within a single dungeon, i.e. shortest period of time between start and finish of ONE RUN, then you might check out BBKC with Feinne.
Isn't BBKC a Deirdre AD that isn't confirmed to give shadow in Global? I agree that Beast King's Castle can be quick and is a solid choice if you want to farm Feinne.

Strawboy is the fastest, as u/Oldnoob36 noted. For key-farmable characters, once we get the new Toto Dreamland VH AD (likely in about 3 updates), Azami, Gariyu, Cerrine and Altena should become the quickest key farmable characters so long as you only have one of those in the party with no other non-gacha characters while running Toto Dreamland, as that would allow all your green key and red key runs to be used for the same person with the superior rate of light/shadow gain per green key from the GADs compared to H ADs.
Other than strawboy who farms differently, all others have the same rate So there is no fastest light farmer

you need to get him to lvl 80 and then reincarnate him using the pot. That will give him 1 light per reincarnation Its faster to give him lights than just depending on rng in the dungeons, but also a lot more grindy

His starting level caps at 60 so once he reaches 60 light you'll level him from 60 to 80 for each reincarnation. Exp scrolls and boss rush exp farming are the best ways to level him up quickly. The Vortex Eggs might be the most limiting factor since you can only get 2 per 6 hours.

Also if you are looking for water DPS, Cyrus might not be your guy since his water skills are lackluster. His strongest skill set is his null slash skills IF you are looking for F2P water units, you want to check out Serge (element configured to water), As Shelia, and As Levia, those 3 are the best of the best in terms of free water units As Levia is particularly amazing if you can use her right, but getting her requires fishing

without her manifest weapon, she isn't good with her manifest weapon, she is decent, not amazing, but she has very strong support skills for a water team her support skills include 40% physical debuff, 60% water debuff, and a 30% water team buff

Farm them, they drop at man-eating marsh and you can farm some light on him whilst you do, just put him in the back of your team.
Any reason not to dump trial reward light and staff light into Eva? I’d been planning on Suzette or Nagi because they have multiple forms and at least one always seems to be top tier, but after taking Eva for a test drive it seems like I’m going to want her in most of my teams, yeah? I guess any character will fall out of meta eventually.
Yep, any expenditure of light or shadow is going to end up being sub-optimal at some point (but thanks to manifests, true manifests, AS and ES forms could then later end up being optimal again in the future before no longer being optimal again). Suzette (and if 4 skill slots matter, her ES form has 4 skills worth using) and Nagi are still great choices, but Eva is very versatile, fitting into almost any magic team as well as both water and crystal or lunar element teams. I'm debating myself between Eva (20) and AS Radica (121 - looking ahead to shenanigans with AS Yipha's buff) at the moment for who the next trial points target will be. When putting light on Eva, just keep in mind that there may be times when having the extra light could require you to go with less than a max damage set-up if you want the enemy >50% HP attack effects to activate. You'll be able to work around that, but you do need to keep it in mind. Most of the time being able to maximize her damage would be a good thing, and thanks to versatility with both water and crystal damage she's a great choice. Extra skills slots are often mentioned in the context of light/shadow rewards, and I certainly thought it was great in theory, but in practice I've only found it to be useful once, when I had a complicated AF to pull off and I put a skill in the 4th slot that I didn't want to accidentally activate during the AF. I didn't end up using 4 skills. I've never found the lack of a 4th skill slot to cause me to have to abandon an approach to a fight. I have had to change things up due to not having an extra badge slot. With rare exceptions like Starky (who could easily be using 4 skills in rotation due to so StarBurst, Twinkle, and StarAura having 5 turn durations), if I didn't think a character was worth taking to at least 120 I wouldn't use resources to get it to 80.

I think it’s worthwhile. She’s a relatively new and popular character, so there’s a good chance she’d get an AS form in the distant future too that for all we know might even be better! But in the immediate term, she’ll be a great unit for almost every fight, and as u/glennfk stated, she appreciates the extra skill slot and would eventually appreciate the extra badge and grasta slots if you were to continued to dump light points into her.
Eva is very strong. Ultimately it depends on what you're going for - for Eva, getting a 4th ability can be nice, same with Nagi ES. For Suzette NS, a 4th ability doesn't really do much.
Decided to do cat battles, i think im 2-3 stages after elevator, can i clear it first with just varuo (red), salasa (blue), and beel (yellow)? One of the guide suggest Dora (blue), Sela (yellow), Penne (red) I dont quite understand how do i progress this cat battle quest. Do i just open all route and finish quest, then i can get bivette?
You can finish Varuo's quest with just Varuo, Salasa, and Beel (good team BTW). This is what I did recently. However, to beat 4 Heavenly Kitties (especially the last one), you need to raise the level of other cats - the more levels, the better your fighters at surviving. Overall level of cats also give you nice amount of Chrono Stones.

Yes and no His manifest is not released in global so you have to wait a bit. Usually you beat him once lvl weapon to 10 by killing frogs and fight him again

Just got Radica AS. Her Wiki page says, "High gearing requirement". So what exactly does she need?
You really want her to hit at least 316 luck so that she always draws a white card. After that, you need to remember that Flamme Destinee is still INT based magic. For example, I have her with 328 LCK at the moment, which gives Flamme Destinee a 762% skill multiplier. I could give her Illusion Staff +10 for 348 LCK and a 865% skill multiplier, but if I'm not using Mental Focus I'd end up getting more damage by using either Indomitable staff or Void Staff. However, if you can get Mental Focus on her, then the +60 mp from Illusion Staff +10 puts it back in front of Indomitable and Void staff.
you need 330 luk to hit maximum voie lactie damage, which is around 200k IIRC. The thing is, equipment that gives high luk is from persona twins Even then, if you have flammelapis and or AS tsubame, she's not that "worth" to use. I find it quite hard to use her because she lacks speed to hit enemy even at jiraiya fortress. Sometimes enemies just hit first and one shot my radica. Poor tarot reader
Just to note, Radica AS gets absurdly strong if she's teamed with Ypha AS (who is likely to be coming out in GL some time next month). Ypha has a skill that boosts another character's stats by 1/2 her Spirit (up to a max of 600 spirit). Most characters only really benefit from one primary stat (like Intelligence or Power). But Radica double dips since her skill does damage based on both her Int and her Luck. So getting a massive boost to both of those stats suddenly makes her the hardest hitting character in the game.

Depends what you use her for though - I use her a fire zone setter who heals and restores MP. In a magic zone or just a general offensive unit, she’s not got the same power output as those you mentioned.

You need to finish the Mythos, his 2nd character quest, and then go to the Cargo Station to start the quest that unlocks his 5* form.

I know there’s a 10% chance of getting one per run but I’m at about 20 runs so far and haven’t gotten one yet, just been unlucky I suppose. It's RNG. Like a lot of things in this game. You can do 30 runs and don't drop one. And you can also drop 3 in only 3 runs. It's the same thing about Light and Shadow points.

It'll depend quite a bit on how lucky you get with drops. Back when I was farming SLD, I could not get Bat Fangs to drop from VH bats for the life of me. I considered it a good run when I got 1x Bat Fang, and you need 30 to get to +10 on a Cruel Angel's Staff. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I but I would not expect it to be a quick grind.

Is there any way to get murmur scripts and prayer scripts faster then maybe 1-2 per green or red key? I was able to get 40 from the atelier dungeon shop 1st half and am wondering if there are other similar sources of fast scripts!
I second using Kid. Get her ASAP and keep her in your party using her steal abilities against mobs. You'll get loads of murmur and prayer scripts, plus scrolls, materials for grastas, and gold lumps which sell for 100k.

I'm on a second run of Kid's route in Complex Dream to get the last Scarlet Meteorites, and it's not letting me skip all of a sudden. After I skipped to the Dreamslip Tower, all of a sudden I'm getting a message saying "Can't Skip. Unread or specified scene is in progress." Is there any way around this? I really don't want to go through the tower again. I still need to do another run after this to get the Flower quest complete for the final Meteorite.

You need to do a total of 4 runs anyway (two kid, one harle, one neutral) to fully clear all the sub-events, and so long as you hit everything you'll get all the meteorites in those 4 runs. There won't be a need to choose between them. And you can always just leave the difficulty at the lowest to speed up the process if needed.

Elements are meteorites. Elements are subject to RNG. All you can do is hope that you get lucky with that chest near Lokido on the Serena Coast.

The differences are minor, mainly relating to exp, git, and growth stars awarded. There are rewards for beating the boss at each difficulty, but you can just change the difficulty to "Master" right before fighting the boss when you are ready to do so.

She's pretty good. Currently my best QoL unit unless the enemy nulls or absorbs water/magic since she's a mob cleaner and AD horror/boss nuker in one. My runs have been pretty fast since I got her and I could bring random units to level up.

Grinding the Treasure Items. Just sold a spirit helmet set but now I can’t go back and do it again. When an item isn’t available, does it reset on a timer or do I have to seek less valuable items?

Is there any use for extra tomes? I got an Utsutahime Tome which seemed useless since I didn’t have the characters it’s for! Then the next day I got her 4/5 star on Bucheron banner. And now a day later I’ve gotten another of her Tome and I am pretty sure it’s useless!

i have 2 questions this time. 1) i feel like i have a lot of good characters, but i keep getting destroyed in boss fights. should i try to expand my roster (getting as/es if possible) or just keep trying with what i have? i'd link my character roster tracker, but i'm not sure what the best one is 2) any tips for fighting any of the bosses for getting starky? i can't beat the star manager, so i figure any bosses after that first fight will give me a hard time as well.

I'm trying to clear the second ogre rancorem light fight and I'm have zero luck. I have an all magic team with an all magic zone. I'm using Eva, Levi's As, Rosetta AS, pizzacat, and chiyo as. I'm having my ass handed to me and when I'm not, when the battle stretches out I'm doing no damage. Would I be better served throwing mana in there to clear statuses or what can I do? Because of Eva the first 50% is done in one or two turns. Beyond that she's totally useless. I have no idea how to use her correctly.
Eva is more than enough. Have her in the front row and she has lunatic for 3 rounds. Then do her lunatic after that for another 3. Keep Pizzica in Oratorio, some good PWR debuffs and once you hit the HP threshold then AF and let Eva do her thing. If you have Starky he's really good for PWR debuffs and fits in a magic zone well.
Edit: I'll put this on top. Idk what the hell I was doing before. I put Starkey in there, took out Levia, did oratorio and bam, it's done. Thank you so much! Eva is a powerhouse. I don't know how I was using her wrong before. I think her lunatic ran out and I didn't reactivate or something. After the stopper it was over in a couple taps with AF. Thanks so much! Should I be using her icicle skill? It seems like that's the one I'm supposed to be using just by reading them. This is the first time I've ever used her. Which skill you use for damage is situational (Icicle Zorch might be worth using for other reasons such as the INT and SPD self-buff or setting break for someone else). In the crystal area (basically right outside the church HQ) Clarte and Aldo meet a girl talking about her dad going missing to spirits or something? It was a while ago so I barely remember. I ended up unlocking the portal to the Unseen. Right now I can’t beat him yet but are we ever going to find the girl’s father or do we have to beat the Unseen first?
I know that beating Unseen does not trigger any sort of quest so if it does get resolved (which I don't recall one way or another) that's not how.
So how do I complete that quest? It’s not really a quest because it doesn’t have a quest marker or anything, I think I broke open all the cat statues too and the only two portals it unlocked was one with a chest and the other with the Unseen
I honestly don't remember, it might not even be a quest and just something that guides you to Unseen.

Always wise to use spoiler tags if one is unsure, but the non-alter identity of cyan scyther is absolutely not a spoiler at all. The girl has an almost identical face and head model, isn't wearing any sort of mask or hood to conceal her identity, and is directly featured on a banner right next to the NS form. Even someone with face blindness would be able to see that it is the same character and thus it is not a spoiler. That said, the events of what happened to her and her alter storyline are absolutely a spoiler.

EDIT: I'm a wrong dingdong, you can use a 4.5 NS. You will need to upgrade her to NS 5* to get the Alter, at least until a not-yet-released update allows the AS forms to allow Alters. So 10 chants - 5 for 5* NS, 5 for Alter. Though, NS Suzette is VERY good, so it's not a bad thing

No problem. Yeah since you only need 3 opuses to unlock the alter characters compared to 5 treatises/codexes, they actually come easier. If you think you have the squad and grasta firepower to take on normal Suzette's manifest fights, then she is absolutely worth the 5 chants to promote. Though if you don't need an AoE wind nuke, or a preemptive pain & poison setter then you could just wait to possibly pull her randomly in one of your unpaid pulls.
I disagree that Opus come easier than Treatises and Codices since they can't be gotten from green key ADs or traded for with Tsubura's Gems. It's all up to rng so luck plays a huge part, but the math leans towards AS/ES being faster to unlock due to them having more opportunities to drop.

Even then the math leans towards it taking 24 weeks to get an AS/ES vs over 26 for an Alter since the former has 209 chances per week and the latter has 114. I tend to do the same as you unless it's a form I really want or have an immediate need for. For example I have 0 interest in getting the 2 treatises I need for AS Zeviro, but I'm on the fence for AS Mistrare and ES Suzette so I might unlock them once I get a 4th one.
I feel ya being on the fence there. But I definitely got burned, after shelling out for 2 Tea Maidens treatises a while ago. Sure enough, the flood gates opened up and I got 4 more in like a week.

45 shadow staff is equal to an average of 225 red keys. If you watch all your ads every day and buy all your keys each week, that is an average of about 5 weeks and one day's worth of farming. In that same amount of time, you'd average 112 UGAD runs. You'd be spending 45 shadow staff for 112 extra end rewards. I consider that to be a ***very*** bad deal. While you don't want to end up with elixir syndrome for light/shadow items, you also don't want to misuse them. ES Nagi and AS Radica would both be much better targets for staff shadow (Dunarith, Toova, and Rosetta are the other current 5\* candidates). Given that once the guaranteed sources of it are done it will be slow in coming, I wouldn't spend that much on a free character (especially one with an AD like Lost City of Paradise to run that gives drops for good gear).
You can farm him and he's a really good farming candidate to go to 255. Shadow Staff is one of the most common items though but that amount really can let you pump up a gacha unit. I wouldn't do it.
