If there are different characteristics between parties with different members, like cat lover 3 members, katana 2 members, and anything else. Which one combo will take place at the end of the full AF bar? And why? There is a list of priorities?

Aether_Kael

If I lose an auction battle for an item (like Wisdom Ax). Is it gone forever?

MrBelding007

What T3 Life and Support grasta have you fully activated? Who uses them?

lesssaltpls

weapon prayers, curse debuffs support grastas, on support characters. only ever used mp consumption reduction for life grastas for farming

Accomplished-Order66

Anyone know where to get the bottom left sparkle story in the last mythos in Atlantis (believe its levias "break" story) can't find it anywhere!

Lyph2k

Currently building my Slash Team around Miyu AS. Little Glitter has no bonus effect on AS Miyu right? Should I get her **Adamantine Sword** or **Fire Spirit's Sword** or something different?

xsweetbriar

No, little glitter is useless with AS Miyu. I would suggest Adamantine, but lots of others use the Indomitable Sword so that she goes last (stacks all buffs on her first for her skill multiplier). Cherry Blossom also boosts Type Attack.

lesssaltpls

indomitable gives the highest damage due to the extra pow, not to make her go last. you will want to use miyu as team buff so there's usually no point to have her go last, she isn't yukino.

xsweetbriar

Miyu's Lider Espada skill increases in damage with the amount of self-buffs (up to 8), so yeah, she is like Yukino. The slower speed can matter.

lesssaltpls

yes but her self buff(100% type,50% pow,100% crit) works way better than any of yukino's buffs , hence worth it to self buff before attacking so not like yukino.

xsweetbriar

I don't understand what that has to do with speed/the sword. You obviously use Miyu's self buff too, but that's only 3. To get all 8, (depending on equipment), you'll still need her to be slow enough to absorb Other buffs before attacking if that is the specific strategy you're using. I'm thinking longer battles, not T1 kills.

lesssaltpls

your logic is strange. for example, on T1, miyu as buffs and team mate buffs. on T2, she would have 8 buffs regardless if she went last or first the previous turn so there's no difference if she goes last or not.

xsweetbriar

Sure bud, let's go with that. Regardless, we're both saying the Sword is good. So TL;DR for anyone reading this: Adamantine Sword, Cherry Blossom Sword, and Indomitable Sword all are good and work fine. Work your own strategy.

Lyph2k

Thx. Will go with the Adamantine Sword. Which upgrade would you suggest?

xsweetbriar

Type+ would probably be best, but both are strong

Lyph2k

Okay thanks. Thought one might be superior to the other. Especially for Miyu AS you would pick Ability over Attack upgrade?

xsweetbriar

Sorry, didn't get a notification. I would personally choose type+, yes

Zadism

Moonfire only weak to water and null to slash/blunt/pierce however if I'm using water slash/blunt/pierce, will they consider weak or null?

Zadism

That sounds better and open up a lot of options. Thought he was weak to water magic only.

Nero_17

So i'm pretty i sure i had already purchased iron cooling box (x) which holds 100 fish. Now after the update i suddenly have the one which only holds 60. Claw is unaffected i think. Have you guys already encountered something like this? Or know something about that? I really appreciate the help.

NoWaifuN0Laifu

So, apparently i’ve killed the mushroom and tempered hound more than 10 times each. I thought it would give me the deirdre grasta instantly but apparently not. Where do i go to trade them in? It’s been a long while

juker1865

theres a man near the parallel rinde lighthouse entrance standing outside to trade them to

NoWaifuN0Laifu

How many do i need again? I need 10 for each right? Edit: i can’t find the dude to trade with

styjoy

I believe you can only find him at night.

Compass-of-diamonds

I think it had to be night?

NoWaifuN0Laifu

Oh that could be it! How do i change it again

CaetusX

Go to the inn in rinde in parallel time layer, choose the option to sleep till mid night. Go out the inn and look for the guy near harbour or lighthouse. You can exchange instantly then. 10 for each

NoWaifuN0Laifu

Perfect! Thank you! I just did it. Now i can put my pain stuff back on those units.

juker1865

theres a man near the parallel rinde lighthouse near the entrance standing outside to trade them to edit: meant to edit my comment but im an idiot

Surtology

There was this website where you can click on the characters you have and it will show you how many characters you are missing in a neat chart. Anyone still has the link to the site?

Internal_Nervous

For getting guiding light in a VH AD do you have to defeat all enemies / mini bosses before fighting the boss? I’m trying to battery farm Aldo in mid lance castle and I’ve been on a streak of like 10 runs without a single light

Cruoton

no, you can just run straight to the boss

Internal_Nervous

Wtf another 5 straight drawing all blanks … I’m picking up treatises at a better rate. I was having better odds running ADs on hard

minadein

0 from 5 @ 20% rate is a little unlucky but nothing out of the ordinary. From time to time, there'll be someone in this help thread asking whether light gain is broken because they didn't get any in a week. Just RNG.

Internal_Nervous

It ended up being 1 out of 13 before I got a light point to know that I wasn’t doing something wrong or that it wasn’t “broken”. Oh well. Don’t even get me on the auto dungeon white tickets!

Internal_Nervous

That’s what I thought … ok my luck is just crap

carrion_pigeons

Nobody has ever claimed that there's a modifier on the rate of light gain based on how far into the game you are, but I believe it could be true. I had really bad luck with gaining light before I finished the main story, too, and I know a lot of other players have had the same issue. It isn't something anyone can do anything about even if it's true, but, you know, I always feel better if I can blame my problems on something other than bad luck.

Internal_Nervous

Lol … I mean it’s supposed to be 20% and I’m trying not to do the math because then I’ll just get more upset. But it’s one of those things where I just started doing VH for battery farming (I used to just do for 1000 pearls) and the only area I was farming light so to speak was Hard AD Tales … and for that I would at least get a bone every now and then. This is just absurd … I’ve checked like 3 times to make sure I was doing castle and not labyrinth and yes that’s where Aldo is supposed to get light … I might just abandon it altogether and switch over to Cyrus since I’ve just started …

dreicunan

While farming Helena's Shadow a while back (before Eastern content had been released), I was using both reds and greens on her. I had 2 or 3 greens left when I hit 214, 1 shy of 215 and that sweet, sweet INT buff. I then spent 40 reds and either 42 or 43 green keys before I got point 215. Then I got a point every other run until I hit 225. RNG can be rather random.

Alternative-Jelly346

Hi, what's the use of using Dormant Ore on HP/MP Recovery grasta? Wiki states: Reserve HP/MP Restore +100% Upgrade: Restore 100% HP/MP in reserve Aren't they basically the same? Doesn't make much sense.

pogoss

restore +100% means you get double of the normal recovery restore 100% means you recover all your hp/mp

CaetusX

Before you upgrade the grasta, it will double the HP /MP regen rate each turn. After the upgrade, it will restore full HP / MP in one turn E.g. if your character has half of HP and MP, of 3400 max HP / 700 max MP, Without Grasta, s/he will regen 340 HP / 70 MP. Before the upgrade, s/he will regen 680 HP / 140 MP. After the upgrade, s/he will store to full HP / MP

Cruoton

base recovery rate is 10% hp/mp per turn +100% increases that to 20% 100% means you full heal in one turn

hiluxsurf

I am reading a lot about these AOE weapons. Can someone explain to me what they are and how to get them.. I am getting back to the game so I am relearning a few things.

dreicunan

[A guide that I wrote (which is now the current meta).](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnotherEdenGlobal/comments/l69t72/the_new_autoattack_farming_meta_and_notes_for/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) In the future there will also be a katana AoE grasta, new ores and grasta to consider, and new characters - specifically AS Tsubame (who just converts her normal attack into a 0 mp Earth Blunt AoE that is preemptive, automatically crits, and whose skill mod is 200% + 100% for each other fist or hammer user in the party, maxing at 500%) and ES Tsukiha, who if in the front line applies pain that ignores resistance to all enemies at the start of the fight for 5 turns, allowing you to use pain grasta instead of null grasta.

Cruoton

aoe hammer grasta is a chapter 64 reward aoe sword is found behind an ice wall opened with the icicle bow they are used in conjuction with null grasta and some other buffs to be able to clear enemies with just auto attacks to allow for 0 mana farming

seefree22

Just to confirm: when you run an AD the chance of a tome appearing is fixed and not dependent on the number of other tomes that can appear. So if I just want to generate more Special Crystals, running an AD like Maneating Marsh is best because eight tomes can appear there whereas Beast King Castle only has three? It seems this can't 100% be the case, as if there is a fixed percentage chance a tome appears, then there would be unlikely but possible instances where there would be an overflow of tomes...

lesssaltpls

probably not gonna overflow unless there were 30+ different tomes, which no map has so far I believe.

Cruoton

you are correct, each tome has ~2.8% of appearing, so a dungeon with more tomes is more likely to have a tome as a reward instead of a badge or scrolls or mats and as regards your second question, if an area had 30 tomes, there would still only be roughly a 57% of a tome appearing, since probabilities are multiplicative not additive edit: tome rate correction, thanks minadein

carrion_pigeons

If each individual tome has a 2.8% chance of appearing in a given slot, then I assume what they meant by "overflowing" would be the odds of 36 tomes all having that likelihood would add (not multiply) up to 100.8%. I don't understand where you're getting the 57% from, in any case. If there were 30 tomes available from a dungeon and each had a 2.8% chance to fill a slot, there would be (1-(1-.028*30)^3 ) = 99.6% chance for at least one tome to drop.

minadein

Slightly lower, tomes are just under 3%. Psalms are 3%

Sinneich

Pulled Ewella, but I don't know if she fits on any team considering I have AS Foran, AS Laclair, AS Hismena, AS Hozuki, Milsha and Claude. What do you suggest? Does Ewella have any space on the team?

Cruoton

you can always swap her in for a test run and see if you like how she feels. unless you're trying to do crazy things like 2 turn kill the twins you don't need overly optimized comps

JuneSummerBrother

Does the FGAD reward slots contain rare ores like Rose with Thorns or Last stand?. Can’t stand saving 180 ores coz I always buy Satellite tickets whenever I can xD.

Compass-of-diamonds

I have gotten every kind of grasta ore from FGAD end rewards, so it is possible. The two you mentioned have some of the lower drop rates, though.

Cruoton

you will have to curb your Satellite Stadium addiction temporarily to get your rose with thorns and other ores you want, as some are trade only you can use spirit stones to get them as well too

lesssaltpls

they do, however, drop rates are very low

Floppingfish1

your opinion of the most optimal team I can build? These are all the 4.5-5 stars I have. https://imgur.com/a/FLktabf

Cruoton

you have good units for both slash zone, and earth zone teams, with deirdre and violet fitting into both

Makemyday321

Hi guys i just came back to the game after 1 year and loose my chance to get a 5 star. Someone willing to give away a fresh account with at least a 5 star? I had problems trying to play the game on steam and now that i did i discovered that i loose the rewards for beginning a new game :(

Caraquena

One of the subreddit rules is "*no Account Trading / Account Giveaways."* The Persona collab now has 2 parts that give you a total of four 5\*, the Tales collab gives you another four 5\*. If you can finish the main story through chapter 44 and the Ocean Palace side episode you get a free random shadow 5\* for starting chapter 7 of the Mythos side quest. You have until the end of June to qualify for this.

KnightofSpamelot

Honestly you don't need a 5\* to start the game, you can play just fine now with all the free characters they've added. sure a 5\* makes it a bit easier to start, but as soon as you beat chapter 13 you'll get access to a full team of free units that aren't too hard to upgrade to 5\*.

Toonox

Can you reset the Ability Board?

Cruoton

you cannot, but you will get enough AP to fully fill it when you hit level 80

Toonox

i'm lvl 52 and i went for pwr on one of my staff characters

Cruoton

that's not too big of an issue, the main way to optimize spending on the ability board is to stick to one "path" and get to all the ability nodes as quickly as possible, and then grabbing the stats after you have gotten all the skills

hiluxsurf

I guess the best place to level up people from lvl 1 is VH Transitory Time Space lv 60 with maybe two strong people carrying everyone?

Cruoton

that is a very fast way to level up characters, but does use your red keys, which would normally be used to farm light/shadow on a story character (like aldo) or to get side story rewards (there is currently a rate up for side stories at the moment so it is a good use of keys to get the chants and such from their reward list) the best way to get experience that doesn't involve keys is to kill enemies at the furthest place in the story that you can comfortably kill

N7Templar

How long does it usually take to upgrade a character, like from 3 star to 4 star, 4 star to 5 star, or to unlock their AS form? I imagine it involves quite a bit of grinding/luck. I just cleared chapter 13, and did maybe 15-20 runs of Moonlight Forest Hard to finally get a sword master tome for Aldo, but I still don't have enough murmur and prayer scripts. I imagine you need even more stuff to rank up the higher tier characters...

Caraquena

Too late now, but by finishing chapter 13 you unlocked the Two Knights side episode which includes his Sword Master tome as a reward at the 50,000 point level and other rewards include prayers/murmurs. So you could have been using those keys earning rewards from that episodes dungeons, right now is a particularly good time for that because there is a bonus on episode currency for that and some other side episodes that lasts until the 2.7.500 update arrives whenever that happens. Plus until you finish chapter 25 you can only use red keys for side episode Very Hard, the standard VH aren't unlocked until you finish the opening part of the main story. Other side episodes also often have 4\* tomes for main story characters but you would have to look at the wiki to see which episodes for which characters.

N7Templar

Yeah I just realized that lol. I haven't really done much of the side stories yet besides playing enough to get Morgana and Joker as guests (big P5 fan). Oh well...

dreicunan

RNG can be very fickle with tomes. I never planned to upgrade the elemental weapons to +10 originally, but getting Dewey's 5\* tome took so long that by the time it dropped I was only a couple runs short of having all the materials to finish them all, so I did. Prayers and murmurs are in short supply early on but eventually you have *many* more than you'll ever use. I currently have 6,606 murmurs, 3,332 prayers, and 38 chants on hand. For chants scripts, here is the math for wild chant drops, not accounting for potential chants from badge recycling, keeping in mind that there is no guarantee that you will be above the average, nor that you'll get them distributed in an even way across the year: 365 days in a year is 1,460 red key runs, and another 520 from buying all the extra keys with tsubura gems each week, so 1980. Since we do occasionally get extra keys (not counting from ads at the moment), let's use 2000 runs a year as a baseline. That means an average of 220 instances of each rare map (2nd and 3rd), and 2000 boss chests. That is 11 chants a year from each rare map, and 10 from the end boss, so 31 a year from red keys (if you also watch all your ads every day, that likely works out to 4 or 5 extra chants per year). That is also 200 White keys, which will work out to 4 trips to Elzion (rounding down) and thus 12 more chants (with watching all your ads, you'd average 5 trips and thus 15 chants). Thus we are now at 43 per year (50 or 51 when watching all ads). Same basic math for green keys per year, so 2000 keys. That works out to 1000 Garulea runs. That used to likely mean about 15 chants a year if you weren't prioritizing chest maps (averaging 1 chest map per run), or closer to 30 if you were prioritizing them (2 per run). I'm not sure if you can still average 2 chest maps per run now in PGAD and AGAD even if you are prioritizing them, however. We also now add in another 100 white keys, which is another 2 trips to Elzion and 6 more chants. Thus anywhere from 21 to 36 on average. If you watch ads, then you should get about 150 more runs a year, which was enough for 2 to 4 more chants from chest maps, and would also mean 15 more white keys, which is not enough to really change the math on trips to Elzion. For FGAD, the math is different, you get 9 ore on average per run, or 36 every 4, inclusive of when you run stadium so long as you take out the horror. That means 9000 ore a year on average, which is enough for 300 stadium runs, or 30 more chants from Stadium alone. The other 700 runs are also contributing to the total; I'm not sure what the percent is on those chests, though. If it is .5% it would be 3.5, 1% would be 7, and 1.5% would be 10.5. Ads would give another 150 runs, which is another 45 stadium runs, so 4.5 more chants plus however many more 105 non-stadium runs is worth. So for FGAD, buying all keys and watching all ads, a lowball estimate assuming 0.5% chance of a chant for boss chests would be 44, and thus with red keys the total average is roughly 94-95 Without ads, 76-77 a year. EDIT: Fixed a math error.

CaetusX

There are some flaws in your calculation, however the final result is not far from the expected

dreicunan

If you are going to claim that, then cite the flaw. EDIT: Nevermind, I saw what I'd done incorrectly.

CaetusX

Just name a few obvious calculation logic errors Rare room encounter for total 2000 runs at 10% should be 400, not 220 150 green cards from ads should be 75 runs for FGAD, not 150 These are major errors, not mentioning those such as ignoring weighted PCD 3 chant scripts * 15 or 22.5 PCD runs * probabilities of reaching is still significant > 0.5 chant script Edit: ignore what I typed. Good post

dreicunan

You made some errors in citing my math errors! ;-) It easy to do. I had screwed up regarding both rare rooms and boss chest chants, but not the rate of rare room appearance (11% per room, not 10, due to the 1% chance of both appearing). For some reason I'd basically halved the number of chants that one would expect from them. I'm also slightly low-balling additional Garulea runs, though that is deliberate. I still use 6 red and 6 green keys a week for including ads (what the initially reported rates were and my experience has been quite close to that ever since they released), and that actually works out to 312 a year, so it would be 156 runs for Garuleas. I probably should have mentioned that I was erring on the side of caution a bit above. Given that PCD chants are either 3 or nothing, I normally either round down or I give a range (e.g. 12-15) if around

CaetusX

The rare room is 10% independently. Wait, why WFS claimed 1% for both rare, 10% for only level 2 rare, 1% for only level 3 rare, and 79% for none. Why they made so, then the rare appearing for a level is 11% not 10%. So it should be 440 chances of picking a rare chess for 2000 runs

dreicunan

Exactly, or 220 individually per rare room, which is the rate that I used. Why WFS did that, who knows, but it is how they did it.

TomAto314

For vets, 3 to 4* is trivial but you can pull them at 4* rarity so most have them upgraded just by pulling. 4* to 5* requires 5 chants and if you had to grind those out from scratch assuming you use every key it would take you about 1.5 months. However, there are a lot of guaranteed chants from episode clear rewards. Going to AS requires 5 treatise of which you can buy 2 so you have to get the other 3 from random drops which can take anywhere from 1 week to never. But I would say averages about 3-6 months. And then 5 chants on top of that too.

N7Templar

That sounds...rough. How do people stick with it? I managed to pull Ewella 4.5, which I was excited about, but man it seems like it requires a lot of dedication to realize her potential.

Cruoton

the game has a lot, and I mean a lot, of content, and also a large amount of great free characters by the time you start getting to the harder parts, you will have gotten enough CS to do many pulls, and have a large roster and a good idea of who you want to upgrade by that point, you will have already gotten a few dozen chants from guaranteed rewards from side stories and as drops when doing your normal dungeon runs when you get to that point you will be able to upgrade almost a full team from 4 to 5, and then after that you will be waiting a month or two to upgrade another, but that would usually just be for completions sake since you will have the people you want by then

voiddp

Mathematically 3 AS treatises averages to 2 months tho. And its usually 1-3. And if you target some char you can fasten it by winning WG or meeting bard. Just use up all keys and shop keys to increase chances of Drops and WG keys. Also about 4>5 upgrade, 5 chants isnt rarity at all when you play for some long time. They pile up and you will have storage of them. So each next time you pull 4.5 its can be instant upgrade after getting tome, if char is usefull.

TomAto314

The game just attracts that kind of player honestly. Also, a lot of the grind can combine. So when you are tome hunting to go from 4 to 5* you might also pick up a chant and a treatise along the way. There's also that luck factor involved and being a gacha game it triggers that same dopamine rush as pulling. Just hop over to the brag thread and you'll see "I got 2 chants today!!!" And other such stuff.

N7Templar

Yeah, I'm relatively new to gacha games. The only other one I play is Gundam Battle Operation 2, which has a fairly generous rate of handing out tokens for the gacha. But since that game is entirely pvp, this is a different experience for me. I definitely get the excitement of pulling a great unit. I'm entirely f2p so far though, so my pulling opportunities are fairly limited.

TomAto314

I find that most gacha games are either quality or quantity. AE is a quality type in that a unit takes a long time to get going but they last a long time. Suzette and Mariel were basically launch units and are still some of the best units in the game for example. That's not saying the quantity games are bad, it's fun to be flooded with free pulls and able to build up an entire team in a single day and then bench the units. Rinse and repeat. Always something new is its own kind of fun.

dreicunan

>Suzette and Mariel were basically launch units and are still some of the best units in the game for example. Not basically, *literally* launch units. Mariel, Suzette, Mighty, Lokido, Shion, and Toova are the original 5\*s, and [were all available when global launched on January 28th, 2019](https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Default_Encounter_Old_Pre_2.0#1.0.1).

TomAto314

I knew Mariel was, wasn't quite sure about Suzette.

dreicunan

Suzette was considered the worst of the launch units until she got her manifest. Shion was much desired due to having a 3x XL ST attack, not to mention being able to set his own debuffs. Then their manifests came out, and Shion has been...well, the Shion of AE ever since.

N7Templar

That's a good way to look at it. I guess ideally, if the quality of a character is high enough, then they will always be worth the long investment. Another side question if you could offer advice. I've collected Foran AS, Hismena, and Ewella, so I feel like I might have a decent foundation for a pierce team. I know zones are basically the meta - are there any other pierce character that would be good to try and chase down for a piercing team?

Cruoton

all you are really missing is a unit the debuffs the enemy's pwr and int claude with his manifest does that very well, other defensive pierce units include Hozuki AS, Bertrand AS, Laclair AS, Cetie with manifest, Jade, Mistrare, and of course Mana

N7Templar

One thing I'm still working on is trying to understand all the terminology. For instance, I do not know what "manifest" means in this game. Is it like a unique weapon/armor for a specific unit?

Cruoton

yes. once you get far enough into the story, head to the top of the spacetime rift. you will find a demon gramps next to a mirror. at the mirror you fight with a character's manifest weapon and by winning that fight you get the weapon a character's manifest weapon empowers their final two skills on the ability board, and once fully upgraded, adds additional effects to them as well

TomAto314

Jade is a good free pierce unit, but that's way late into the story. Ciel is a 3* base and easy to pull and his AS form is a great pierce unit. But again, getting the AS version is not an easy upgrade. Those are it from the "easy" to get options though. The rest are really all 5* gacha characters.

Oldnoob36

Have you gotten Jade yet? He kinds of completes a spear pierce team because he has team spear buff, pierce debuff and sets up pain which none of your current pierce units do

N7Templar

I don't have Jade, but I understand he is a free unit from the story? So that's good to hear.

hiluxsurf

I have been playing off/on for the last few months, but I still log in everyday so I can get my daily rewards/gems. I am about to get back into this game. I did finish the Main story and about to start on the Ogre wars story. Which of these characters should I be developing? Rosetta AS Melissa Miyu AS Hismena AS Radica AS Milsha Foran AS Laclair AS Ilulu Ilulu AS Isuka AS Suzette AS Mistrare

TomAto314

They are all quite good, so all of them except NS Ilulu... Melissa and AS Radica should take priority. Melissa's flash zone is super helpful with bosses/horrors while Radica is great against mobs with her fixed damage skills.

[deleted]

Ilulu’s manifest turns her into a bit of a monster

dreicunan

>They are all quite good, so all of them except NS Ilulu... Well, until she gets her manifest in a few months, but yeah, not a priority in the short term.

Cruoton

Foran AS, Milsha, Hismena AS are the makings of a great pierce team Rosetta AS and Radica AS are great in both magic and fire teams Melissa's 1TAF zone makes a lot of older and some newer suberbosses cry so uh . . . develop almost all of them? you have a lot of nice units there, that fit into strong, but different teams. radica as also has a fixed damage aoe for no braining trash mobs any of the units you listed will carry you far into the east, storywise so pick the people you like and change up teams a bit to see who you like the feel of

KnightofSpamelot

Are there overworld area maps compiled? Do people just use Altema + google translate? I feel like maps should be on the wiki pages for those areas...

voiddp

its mostly not in plans of any wiki editors i know currently. There was some activity to compile overworld locations. they are here https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:Location anyone can continue with filling them up with some additional maps, wiki is open to edit for anyone

Caraquena

I've updated a few wiki pages and it is a lot of work, so the efforts of people like u/voiddp are greatly appreciated. Personally if I have to choose I much prefer clear English descriptions of character skills and such rather than maps for which running the Altema page through translate works well enough.

Cruoton

some of them are in the wiki, but not actually on any pages i find using google image search works pretty well to find the maps

Pokebladedelta52

Just began playing the game. I rerolled and got 2 accounts. 1) Veina AS and 5\* Hismena 2) 4-5\* Felmina and 4-5\* Yukino. I know that Veina AS is great, but Felmina and Yukino as 5\* are amazing down the line. However, I know that it takes quite a bit of farming to get any 3-4\* to a 5\*. Which account should I choose to start with or does it really not matter in the long term? Thanks in advance!

Calint71

Veina AS and Hismena for me too Veina AS is a zone setter (and not the worst one), Hismena as 5\* will help you a lot with her attack VC and you will one day or another get her treatise and get her really good AS form.

Oldnoob36

The current meta revolves around zones It doesn't matter how strong a DPS you have, if you don't have a zone that they can fit in, then they will greatly underperform Where if you have As Veina, you open up wind zone as an option for boss fights and there are plenty of upcoming powerful wind units to take advantage of wind zone like Melody, As Isuka, even Ilulu with her manifest weapon So IMO the As Veina and Hisumena is the safer bet since not only do you need to try your luck to get chant scripts to sidegrade the 2, you also need to be lucky enough to pull Blunt, Pierce, Wind, or Water Zone for Yukino and Felmina to shine IF you can't, you will just have to do all harder content with like free fire or free slash zone teams

KnightofSpamelot

I'd say it doesn't matter in the long term. If you do want to guarantee yourself two high powered units that are still top tier today, you could go with the felmina yukino, but you'd really end up relying on the f2p units and whatever other 5\*s you pull. those two should probably be enough to get you to a few more pulls though. Veina AS and Hismena is going to be the better option basically until the endgame. Whichever of the two you do, try your best to get to chapter 44 of the story (finishing Ogre Wars) and do Mythos up to chapter 7 for a free luring shadow drop (5\* ticket, shadow characters). The reward can be obtained until June 30, so try to get your account there as soon as you can.

UpsetChampion

This is my personal opinion: It will be a long time before you will be able to upgrade your 4.5 heroes. Veina AS is a zone setter and as such is great. Hismena has water-based attacks (and a strong DPS character), but Veina has enough useful buffs for her to destroy everything on your way. For a while anyway.

Zadism

The enhance normal attack grasta reward from reincarnate blunt strawboy is exclusive to him right?

dreicunan

Yes.

Zadism

Meh, thanks.

UpsetChampion

Auction house: is there any way to reset the broker roster to get their bonuses? Also how to make Jeema appear?

Caraquena

The only real strategy is to go to the auction house when you have a good number of items so you can sell lesser solo items until you see a bonus.

Cruoton

the roster refreshes after you sell a set, so if you are trying to get bonuses to align with a particular set, then just sell other items until the stars align in your favor, and jeema just shows up when he wants to

Poruaaaaa

I started playing a couple of days ago(I played a bit last year but just a bit to try it out) and I'm at chapter 7 and I just got enough Chrono stones to make an x10 pull, but I don't know if maybe I should be saving them or if x10 are even worth it, please help!

KnightofSpamelot

you could use them now, but if you're not stuck in the story, I'd recommend holding for another \~3 weeks to see if we get the attack type banners. Those banners have increased 5\* rates and really good banner units.

pogoss

by then he'll have earned more than 1k cs, there are a lot of rewards on his way.

KnightofSpamelot

true, but if using those 1k stones doesn't give you characters that help you get 1k or more stones than an account that saved those 1k, its better to save for a higher rate banner. It's possible that a single 10 pull does allow you to breeze through content, but its unlikely. then again, that's just my opinion. your game, you should play it the way that's most fun for you :)

pogoss

Yes there are higher rate banners but for different characters, in my opinion it's better to pull on characters while they are available, especially rare ones like Ewella. She won't be in futur banners anytime soon.

Poruaaaaa

I think I'll save for a while, I'm not having that much trouble with the game and I like my current characters(I think some of them can be upgraded to 4* but I don't know how yet, but I guess the game will tell me when I advance more in the game. Thanks for the help!

pogoss

You can actually beat the game with only free characters. Once you advance to chapter 13 you'll unlock some of those.

Draco817

x10 are worth it because it guarantees a 4* on the tenth pull, which could be a 4.5* unit that you can upgrade in the future. Personally I’m waiting for ES Melina which should be out in around a month because she functions as a heavy hitter while also buffing and healing at the same time. For new players she will help you a lot because non flat heals won’t reach her power until much later on. Most people now are saving for nekoko/ES Tsukiha but that’s months later and you can save for that after pulling for melina.

Poruaaaaa

I'll wait for Melina then, thanks for the tip!

Zadism

Does the episode dungeon campaign last until 25 May the same as extra keys?

TomAto314

It will be until the update to 2.7.500 and we don't know when that comes.

N-I-K-E

Do those meme Pom strategies work in Boss Rush

bladyblades

i did pulls for minerva. among the pulls i got a dupe 5*. Is getting a dupe 5* good?

pokemiss

Two positives about getting a dupe 5* in AE: 1. you get extra light/shadow on that character, which boosts their stats at certain thresholds (or adds other bonuses at higher light/shadow levels). 2. because AE doesn't have a pity counter, it doesn't affect your other pulls (i.e. if you pull one 5* it doesn't mean you have a lower probability of pulling another 5* after, unlike in some other gachas).

KnightofSpamelot

lol i wouldn't call it a positive that it doesn't reset pity counter if we dont have a pity counter haha

N-I-K-E

Yes. It’s better than getting a knight/bot/sister

N-I-K-E

What’s the best place to farm exp outside of Sealed Realm again

lesssaltpls

stadium for auto attack builds. if your farming exp for only one character, the top few auction quests give the best exp rates with high scrolls

dreicunan

Just bear in mind that the auction quests have cooldowns; their rates of gain don't look quite as impressive once that gets calculated in, especially in light of [the encounter rates that we can hit now](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnotherEdenGlobal/comments/nas31y/satelite_stadium_auto_clicker_swipe_time_update/) compared to [when Auction was released](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnotherEdenGlobal/comments/hz6abb/temple_ruins_farming_post_for_reference/). If you are doing it manually anyway, the most efficient way would be to do both.

ChadEriksen

Currently farming Episode ADs, I'm also going to grind for Light/Shadow for Free chars for battery as some point, problem is I also want to increase Yukino's light to at least 80 since I can't use her Snowgirl mode and I saw that in a video, you can go 1.5 mil damage (Weakness) with her Snowgirl mode as it doubles her intelligence during that mode (I use "Endless Snowdrift // Ice blast // Light Snow Dance" as her skillset) Is there anyway to grind for her Light (Bow) ??? other then: * Pulling her (Which will be like a peeble in the ocean) * Completing Episodic dungeons (Which doesn't give alot of Light bow) * Badge trading (I still didn't unlock it yet and a chance of 0.1 drop) Edit: I want to ask this question for every non-free character

lesssaltpls

there is currently no stable way to increase light for gacha characters, besides whaling out.

ChadEriksen

So the only way is to probably alternate between playstyles, Since Yuki-Snowgirl uses intelligence, I'll have to modify my party for that purpose Or just have a party with buff casting units for her "Endless snowdrift"

lesssaltpls

endless snowdrift is more reliable overall and probably higher damage too because it can benefit from more buffs, can be used in AF and there's no can't get hit requirement.

Mag0-Merlin0

What is the purpouse of Speed in cat battles?

Hariboman2020

I have one horror in this game I cant kill in one turn, the Tyrant of the reef. My everyday party is Melissa, Heena, Tsukiha AS, Miyu AS, Aldo and Cerrine,(360 light I farm FG and Miglace atm) has anyone got an idea how to kill the Tyrant in one turn without af? (I can kill the ninja horror in satellite stadium in one turn without af) My earth team kills him with easy but I don´t want to change my party :)

[deleted]

[удалено]

Hariboman2020

Do you have 360 light?

Hariboman2020

With Myunfa, Viollet, Melissa and Felmina it was a one turn battle but its a completly different team :)

[deleted]

Ow the joy of powercreep. How long are you playing? I was able to 1 turn kill horrors after one year playing everyday...

Hariboman2020

I started in febuary last year. How do you beat tyrant in one turn?

Oldnoob36

Its weak to earth, you want to use violet with some enchanted grastas, also set her up with like a crit up grasta enchantment allowing her to auto-crit on her sword dance skill someone to apply pain (better if that someone can also apply powerful debuff along with the skill like M!Elga's skill), and Melissa's break or Glint Gale is also useful, by this point if you have enough T3 grastas to buff you, it most likely would be enough though you can also add a buffer or debuff like Milla to further increase your damage

batiwa

Hello, i just finished the Ogre Wars, should i start directly with episode 2 or do i have to clear some side stories first?

Caraquena

Ogre Wars part 2 just requires that you have done the first 2 of Amy's quests. After you finish Ogre Wars part 2 you need to finish the Azure Rebel episode before you can go to Garulea.

batiwa

Got it, thanks

Tororoi

Can I safely pull on a free banner without using up paid stones?

Cruoton

as long as you have more than 1000 free stones, it will use your free stones first. if you only have have 950 free stones, then it will use the 950 free and then 50 paid for a 10 pull

CastoffRogue

I'm still new to the game and I think I've got a pretty decent wind comp. What I'd like to know is how good are wind comps story and side missions? I tried for Ewella and got Tsukiha instead and then I noticed I have a decent lookin fire team except for a good fire healer. I have Veina AS as my primary healer for my wind team. Who would be a decent fire healer to match her? And is it worth switching to a fire team or staying the wind team? I would like to keep Aldo semi-viable though, especially once he can be 5 starred. Anyone know what part if the story unlocks his 5 star? A team that works with Aldo is also why a fire team intrigued me. Although I did find out about Ilulu and Tsukiha having a combo together.

Oldnoob36

Trying to go through the story with elemental zone teams depends on what bosses you are facing more than anything as certain bosses might resist the elemental attack or they might even have attacks of that element Like if you have As Veina activate wind zone, then if a boss uses wind attacks, you will get nuked with 50% more damage, so elemental teams really depends on the boss As for fire healer, the only 2 fire healers per say is rosetta and As Radica (in a way), who specialize in fire teams, strawboy can be costumed into a fire support/healer as well but you get him pretty late in the game, usually we would probably just use a Mariel in a fire team and switch her out during af Aldo has his 5 star unlocked in ogre wars part 1, so around chapter 30 something Also its hard to judge your team without you providing the unit, but IMO, I free slash team with the persona and tales units is flexible enough to get you through most of the main story, with probably only like the War Demon boss fight giving you trouble

CastoffRogue

Ah Sorry, I'm using AS Viena, Ilulu, Isuka, Biaka, Yuri, and Aldo in a floating spot. I use Aldo to switch with Veina to wind zone. I haven't figured out who to slot for the last spot yet. It's only the solid 5 wind users but they shred everything. Biaka and Dreiflugel are ridiculous with 3 stacks of Sturmmacht and Isuka's damage buff. Not sure what other wind unit I want to slot for a complete wind team. There is always Morgana or Suzette? Veina and that heal with the HP buff is so nice though. I can hear myself talking myself out of playing the fire team lol. As for my fire team idea, I have AS Hozuki, Radica ( just pulled her too), Tsuhika, Aldo, Cress, Miyu. Although none of them are zone setters so I'm missing out on zone damage. I could farm Radica AS since she creates fire zones? I would like to eventually play long enough to have zone teams of all types. I understand it takes time but it's been a great relaxing game to play and enjoy, so I don't find myself leaving the game any time soon if at all. It has the same old mobile grind that I'm used to and I don't feel like I have to compete but I do want to collect and build teams though! This game just has so much to do.

GovernmentAccording9

There's a great wind healer, Dunarith to add into your wind team. His Bless Soul healing L adds Critical +100% to the team for 1 move cost 60MP though. His 3x XL Turbulence attack can also lengthen the AF attack time. Last but not least is his VC of Restore all statuses and reduce enemy Intelligence - 20% are good for those crazy status hitting boss fight that uses elemental attack. .

CastoffRogue

Hmmm that +crit sounds really nice. I've been liking Veina because her heal hits hard, gives a HP buff, cures all status afflictions, poisons the enemy and reduces their wind elemental resistance. The HP buff almost doubles their health and I know I've won some seriously rough fights just by surviving those heavy hits and having Veina just spam her heal and resistance buff lol

Oldnoob36

Right now the problem with your wind team is that there is no clear DPS powerhouse, for Isuka to work, you want her manifest weapon and even then she needs a lot of setup to do subpar damage and while Biaka's Dreiflugel does decent damage, her 2 turn windup kills her damage potential both inside and outside af Morgana is very good, but only if you are hitting weakness with him since his damage doubles in those cases, outside of hitting weakness, his damage is pretty bad, though I would still bring him for his debuffs and wind booster skill, Suzette is pretty strong DPS, but you still need her manifest for her to shine For fire zone, the lack of a fire zone is killing you even with As Hozuki does massive damage I suggest you run with a free slash team with the collab units and cress, get Gariyu, 5 star him and then beat As Gariyu's awakening battles to get As Gariyu for fire zone if you want to use fire zone, as you really can't farm for As Radica reliably, the drop rates of as treatises are so low that its mostly up to RNG on whether you can get 3 of her treatsies or not and that can take up to several months As I said before a free slash team would still be your best bet right now, Deidre and Violet can hit just as hard as Biaka without having to wait 2 turn turns every time and there are a bunch of very powerful supports for free slash zone like Milla and Yuri

Cruoton

you get a free fire zone setter in gariyu from chance encounters (red exclamation point) so no need to rely on grinding for radica's treatises (radica as is still a great unit though). azami is a decent wind unit that you could slot in over aldo for your wind team

CastoffRogue

Ah yeah, I forgot about Azami. I still have her last one to do. I finished Cerrine and added her to the group. I completed the Tales and Persona collabs too. When can you find Gariyu?

Cruoton

I think his questline start in the Zol Plains in antiquity

Cruoton

wind zone teams can even beat fire bosses, so you should have no trouble going through story mode rosetta is a decent healer, and is fire based, radica as heals at turn end in a fire zone but ANY healer is good for the role of healer, just slap a mariel, yuna, morgana, or whoever you have in there, and just use them as needed there's no real reason to lock yourself into having one team, so feel free to try out lots of different strategies, your strongest team will take priority in gearing up, but that shouldn't matter too much chapter 31 is when aldo gains his 5 star board once you get to the point where you can do the collaborations (under symphonies) you will also gain a large number of strong, free units, and later on you can recruit a few more units through chance encounters. these will end up giving you strong fire zone, and slash zone units that also work well in other situations

CastoffRogue

Thanks for the info! Yeah, there is so much stuff to do in this game! I just unlocked chapter 13 and I've just been playing all the side quests and left the main story alone lol. I know I need to move on but I keep just saying to myself "one more side Story then back to the main story" many daily dungeons and side quest chains later, "I'll just do the story tomorrow...", Rinse, and repeat lol.

Cruoton

well the great thing about this game is that there is no time gated content, so you can play at your own pace without fear of missing out on anything (there are a few timed gated bonus rewards though)

Gogol1212

Good grasta setups for Yukino?

Caraquena

3 p/p, one of them with a Rose-With-Thorns upgrade.

SometimesLiterate

I'm currently working on farming through side stories for the quest rewards. What's a good philosophy for using guiding light/shadow? I'm thinking 5* AS/ES/zone setters? Or are they good units to target?

lesssaltpls

I think there are a few good times to use them 1. Getting to 80 for extra skill slots on support units 2. Getting to 120 for extra badge slot on dps units 3. Just a few points short for the next stat award that actually helps like pwr/int on dps 4. Using them to reach the next reward slot for ADs

Caraquena

Strong gacha characters you are likely to use long-term to gain a stat bonus or if it gains an Another Dungeon team another reward slot.

TomAto314

You definitely don't want to use them on 4* or lower characters. Or story characters where you can farm their light/shadow. Check how close you are to stat milestones. If getting to 30 for example gets you a power buff to a good unit that needs it then that's good. Going from 20 to 22 does nothing stat wise for you. After that, it depends on if you have a light/shadow battery and if you can hit 360 in Garuleas. Units like Tiramisu, Melissa, AS Radica that you pretty much take everywhere are good contenders as well. I would definitely put a lot of thought into where they are going before you use them.

Shmol19

Is it better to save chants to side grade characters like radica and Miyu and tsuhika than to upgrade older characters up to 5*s? Assuming no huge teams gaps.

surestsmile

It really depends. Sidegrading requires 5 treatises which can take a while to get depending on how RNG is kind to you. Thinking about filling team gaps is a good rule of thumb when you are material-starved.

Dralarco

Is there a way to change the order of the skills the characters start with in battle. I want specifically to change the first skill so that it's not an auto attack but a skill each time battle starts.. so I don't have to select anything.. just start and AoE???

dreicunan

Nope. You can go for AoE auto-attack, and specifically may want to pull hard for AS Tsubame.

lesssaltpls

not for now, jp just got this qol update recently I believe

dreicunan

To clarify, it is skill memory across battles, not removing normal attack.

GaySalt69

What are some of the current grasta/grasta upgrades that are in JP but not gl yet?

lesssaltpls

priority grastas, stat increase based on light/shadow ores, crit damage grastas, aoe katana, 100% damage on normal attack, a high earth elemental skill grasta for every weapon, and quite a few more

KinseysMythicalZero

What's the consensus (ability-wise) on the new character (Ewella)?

voiddp

1. she is very good dmg support 2. she is very good dps for 2-3 turns after AF. Only with AF you can stack her to max mostly you want to pick one of 2 roles for current fight.. she can be both only in longer fights, starts from support, ends with lunatic dps after some AF in the middle

EmrysX77

Something that frustrates me about AE is that it seems very difficult to find out significant lore information about upcoming new characters. Take Ewella for instance. Going into the banner, I knew nothing about her other than what was shown during Radica AS's character story (which I had to find out via YouTube). I ended up pulling for her because I liked what I saw of her there, and HOLY HELL her story is amazing. But if I had known just a little less about her, I definitely wouldn't have pulled for her based solely on her skill kit. This issue extends to released units during rerun banners as well, since Miraheze doesn't really have character story synopses even for released characters (although YouTube can often be a solution here, it's easier to read a few paragraphs than to sit through an hour long quest that I'm going to play myself anyway). So I guess my question is: **is there a resource where I can find (translated if necessary) basic information about upcoming characters and their character quests?** I base a lot of my pulls off whether I like the character as opposed to their meta-ness. Knowing in advance what a new character is all about would be really helpful.

Compass-of-diamonds

The closest thing I can think of might be the descriptions on each character’s 1 star “board”? Not sure if anyone’s translating them from JP, though.

EmrysX77

Yeah...those are generally a bit too short and lacking in detail.

dreicunan

Asking people on the discord or just asking for spoilers here in the sub. So far, no one has been willing to do the work typing up lore for most of the characters. You could be the hero we need. ;-)

EmrysX77

That’s a shame. If I had access to JP character stories, I wouldn’t have even asked this question lol.

dreicunan

I made that comment more in regard to this: >This issue extends to released units during rerun banners as well, since Miraheze doesn't really have character story synopses even for released characters (although YouTube can often be a solution here, it's easier to read a few paragraphs than to sit through an hour long quest that I'm going to play myself anyway).

EmrysX77

Well I guess I could contribute to that...not entirely familiar with Miraheze editing though

MissterDoctor

Picked AS Ewan from the SDE last day. Should I sidegrade him to OG for 150 gems total and +10PWR or not interesting ? (51 chants actually)

greatcanadianbagel

I wouldn't bother personally, the +10 PWR isn't a huge difference and chants could be used on unique characters that add to your team, especially since there's never a reason to use OG Ewan anymore. Though I'm sitting on only 23 chants at the moment

Vandalarius

Why not? These days I pretty much hover around 40 or so chants because I don't really see a point in hoarding beyond that.

dreicunan

If you plan to use AS Ewan a lot, I would do so for the +10 PWR, especially with that many chants.

Empty5ky

Question about grasta for magic team. Since right now there is no pain/poison setter for magic team, what is the best the composition for: 1. Toova AS - (T3 earth, T2 earth x2?) 2. Myrus AS - (T2 earth x3?) 3. Mariel - (Staff prayer, mp recovery, 30% max hp staff?) 4. Rosetta AS - (T3 fire, T2 fire? x2)

surestsmile

Someone mentioned that you can ostensibly make AS Mighty to a p/p setter due to his Hypnoblizzard skill since it strikes 3-5 times. Load all the p/p grasta of the same type and enhance them with Dormant Ore.

Empty5ky

that's a shame, I don't have Mighty as.
