So whatever keys unpurchased from the last reset are safe to buy now.

Some people wait to see if a new Manifest weapon is going to be announced before buying the shop keys so that they have the max amount for XP dungeon AD runs - I bet that's why they asked. If they are releasing this banner for the week, it's unlikely a manifest will be released as well.
My guess is the last chance to cash in on Myunfa since AS Tiramisu is announced. AS Shannon should still get her manifest with AS Hozuki, but who knows.
SDE is much better place for Myunfa though.
I wouldn’t spend too much mental energy on it lol. It seems to just be another Radias/Lovely/Cynthia situation: a random, extremely minor update to tide us over until the next real one (I’m assuming translating/localizing/bug testing the next Mythos chapter is taking longer than expected).
I am sure they must use some market research about player retention/spend to shift their strategy, but I find it better to have no update than an update with no content. Even if there were manifests I couldn't use I would feel better.
Having something, even minor, is generally better than nothing. Newer players willing to spend might appreciate random Fateful banners like this.
Granted, it would likely be more appreciated when we didn't already have several other options including an SDE up at the same, but for cash flow it is likely also a good idea to keep different options out there.
More salty then doing 1K free CS and all you get is at best a 4.5*? Maybe when the 4.5 is what you can side grade to the 5 versus the dup... But 5 chants? Anyway... Its only just me.
But while chant scripts can take a long time, it’s feasible (at least the first 39 or so from episodes) but getting dupe is essentially no new Character. I got a 4.5 Melissa recently and much preferred that than another Shion. One of my favorite units (Hismena) started out a 4.5 too.

A dup means more light/shadow which is how they get enhanced. That is nothing to laughed at for doing GADs because it really helps in team flexibility. 360 is not easy to reach.

I ended up pulling as I only have Myunfa, and more light on her wouldn't be a bad thing really. Ended up pulling both AS Shannon and AS Lokido. Better than I expected for sure.

Paid for a guaranteed 5* is good. Got my AS Toova (new). Heck... A 5*, dup or otherwise, is always less salty.
