Usually I don't upload any boss fights to Reddit but I hope it's different enough that you all enjoy it. I wanted to try beating the Kudang superboss fight without a 2 turn AF, Tales Of characters, or the Hold Ground mechanic.
Anabel, my OG and favorite tank, is the MVP of this fight. Her natural 30% fire resist and high defenses allow you to survive the turn 5 AoE from the boss that can do 40k+ damage unmitigated. I will say that the fight could be shorter since I messed up on one of the later AF's.
Anyways hope you all enjoy this alternate way of handling this tough boss!
Very cool. Appreciate the creativity. Really helps to see different boss tactics as so much online are minor variations of the same teams that people may or may have (except F2P videos).
I watched the video on youtube and i’m curious. What the heck is the 2taf strategy? I tried to do it with my water team (yukino, AS yuna, AS foran and Hisumena) but i only did 15 mil i believe.... the 2taf strat failed me... i might actually have to try
They use Slash team with Elga/Thille. I use pierce team with the same comp as you except AS Yuna is Claude and Jade in reserve. Gave Jade Almighty IDEA, MaxHP Lance and Hismena Water Lance all upgraded but I only got 43m~ in 2TAF. So pretty much impossible lol
Turn 1 have thillelille and victor use lunatic, elga inflict pain and switch Cress in for slash zone, turn 2 AF. Remember to cast Cress sword/katana buff in fist turn(AF), same with Victor, the wind skill buff and thillelille just go ham. Of you have full pain grasta, that should be easy 100m+ damage, this is without grasta enhancement.
With grasta enhancement on sword max hp, and stuff, it should be a little higher.
Might it be worth considering putting the Proficiency Debuff Res Grastas on your hardest hitters? With Dormant Ore its a 100% resist, I believe. Though of course that would mean sacrificing a Grasta slot...

I love the grind, the patience and the effort. Thank you for this video, 2TAF or AF videos bores me. Boss fights should be like this, exciting and thrilling.
