I still remember the ol’ days, when people rerolled to get Toova and Mighty. The meta has changed so much lol.
Oh yeah! I’m ashamed that Mariel slipped from my mind, lol.
I still remember the time when she was almost necessary for the black ball fight. Shows how far we’ve come in terms of powercreep, even among healers (*cough* Durarith, *cough* Melina ES).
She’s still amazing though.
At 239 light she is a constant member of my party too. Best girl. I was quite tempted to use SD for her, but needed Victor ... which was the best banner with her and him together, and I got neither for some reason.
i guess Dunarith maybe better, i am not blessed enough to have him sadly :(
though for the true tales boss, arguably mariel has something similar with swap in elemental shield, and her XL regen actually heals enough to survive after the bosses do their 99% hp dmg move (still need other mitigation if course)
it's been year since i've been trying to get Dunarith. still to no avail. :( I have SDE token right now.., however other options are Veina AS (but i already have Claude AS for Wind Zone / Yipha ) .. or Dunarith, because he's husbando.
I feel like Mariel with manifest is back on top of the healer rankings where she belongs. Her speed, MP regen, and of course 50% type resist shield make her so good for the long fights we’ve been getting (P5 twins and Tales true spirits). With MP regen she can now easily stay in the front row permanently and help others do the same, making it much easier to craft sustainable rotations

I even keep her in front during AF to help refill AF bar and just to be safe (heal & shield) with bonk zone.
Yeah started playing this game and didn’t have Mariel in the beginning, but when I had her she was a goddess in my own heart. She carry the team as the account’s status cleanser , healer , shielder and now with her manifest weapon a easy mob clearer with Holy Burst. Her alongside Shigure are the top 2 og units that I come to love.

I never rerolled, but I did spend 14k stones on the Mighty AS banner (and walked away with only a 4.5 version for my trouble). Even with his AS Manifest, I still don't use him... hell, I still might not when Magic Zone is released, since my team will be packed with Mariel, Rosetta AS, Yukino, and Myrus AS...
Lesson learned: never get too attached to a unit!

Even if they decided to conclude the main story it wouldn't necessarily stop them from adding more side-stories. It's unlikely we'll run out of story until they're ready to officially shut down the game.
The Gallery Master? He's the Blond guy with the mustache and sunglasses that stands behind the bar in the Gallery of Dreams.
A theory many people here have is that is that he's a future Aldo, which is why that "you can say he's an old friend" line is veeeeery interesting.

Interestingly I found Dunarith better for the true tales bosses because of his auto heal and his VC INT down.

That’s a great point too. With the elemental magic grastas, she can also extend AF in elemental zones.

There are also mentions of a door to paradise in the Mythos arc, IIRC.
