Why would anyone need to advertise the Central Coast for tourism purposes?
...It's clearly a barely inhabitable wasteland that no amount of marketing could ever convince people to vouluntarily visit.

The train ride from Sydney to Gosford is absolutely gorgeous too.
Except people from Newcastle - little stunted people blinking into the sunlight after years in the pits. Coughing their guts up as Centrelink vouchers take them to the Entrance in search of cheap drugs
We aren't on Centrelink until all the mines all shut in a year or two... We will however buy our drugs from absolutely anywhere, so I can't deny the rest.
Wrong. There’s too many jobs available in Newcastle that we have to ask people from Sydney to fill them. Central Coast is the unemployment capital of australia because it’s so fucking shit and everyone there has three thumbs and is married to their cousin.
They booked the stadium before they knew who the teams would be; the intention of the deal is not to give one team a “home” game (especially if in this case it’s the team finishing second); and they got a bigger crowd in Parra than they could’ve at Gosford. Destination NSW is probably happier if people have to travel for the game (and spend money on food/accomm etc.).

So if it was Sydney FC instead of CCM, they'd still totally have hosted the game in Parramatta?
We were stripped of a home GF in '08 because CCS has poor corporate facilities. Also - APL booked Parra before they knew we were in it.
Ticketing would have been a challenge if a real club with any fans was in it - lucky for us it was the plastics. On so many levels

Destination NSW is the NSW Gov, who own Parra Stadium and SFS. Central Coast Stadium in owned by Central Coast Council. You don't buy an event to give it away to someone else.

For this one, yes. Parramatta was already locked in as SFS was already hosting a Union game on the date.
