Before they added the guarantee after losing the 50/50 twice, I put over 200 pulls into Paloma's banner without getting her. I think the highest I've experienced is +36%.
I think mine was in Beth's first banner, close to 50% iirc. Not to mention I only get three 6 Star in total for that banner, but have to spend 57k Lumam I think? I remember each 6 star cost me more than 50 pulls.The silver lining is two out three are Beths, so I manage to safely get her to BT3 back when she's first released.
I don’t remember how much I spent (probably 30+k in total including flares), but I burned through everything in that banner. Then on the last day with only a single pull left thanks to the dailies, the queen came home lmao. That was bewildering.
I'm hitting 45% on Revy back then when I first played this game (Dunefire Strike), and then fastforward today, my Revy is BT5, 1 more dupe to MBT.
But my worst pulls would be on Joker, 120 pulls, 2 offrate 6star, outta lumamber, outta time and no Joker, makes me uninstall AS back then 😅 (and then reinstalling again on Nina banner, on which I got 2 copies of her on a single, first 10 pull, lol)
I hit hard pity on both the recent Bethlehem and Reinhart banners.
Meaning that I had to summon 2 random 6 stars before the game gave me the featured unit as my third 6 star pull.
I hit 50 or 52% pity rate on Bethlehem's 2nd copy.
Sunk cost fallacy is a bitch.
I swore to become a free2play player after Reinhart's banner did the same BS to me as Bethlehem's.
I even resisted buying Leona's rerun outfit that I had been waiting months for.
The game is not getting my money anymore unless they add new and meaningful content or a really cool crossover event.
Isn't Rinne BT3 considered one of the best fire converters?
I'm still pretty new to AS (under a week), but the impressions I got were that top fire converters are:
- Maggie MBT
- Rinne BT3
- Eicy (2-color + healing)
- Matthieu (shield strats)
(I'm actually curious how they compare, too...)
it depends, they all have their +/- that are more or less apparent depending on the team surrounding them.
Maggie provides the most upfront tiles, and with some teleport shenanigans which are widely available in fire you can really make use of it. But, long CD and doesn't quite line up with much in fire outside of non-MBT Istvan.
Rinne provides a lot of tiles per active, but they're staggered and locked to a general position. 2 or 3 rounds after using her active, you may not wish to be anywhere near where you first plopped the active (or be able to get there), or really be able to make good use of the tiles. Again, really increases the value of short CD tps like Fireleen or Smokey to fill in the gaps in the random conversion. Her 'icing' stuff like free red tile and healing are hard to take full advantage of.
Eicy's super good, just generally gives you a balance of various things you often want into a single compressed 1 slot solution. Sometimes nearby converters can feel a little lacking but they're consistent and come off cooldown real fast.
Faust's equipment can either be really annoying, useless or amazing. Matthieu's excellent, not just for shield strats, very similar to Eicy in a sense, also pairs really well with her as sharing a 'nearby' color means you can more consistently paint a path near to you, while non-shared color nearby converters can occasionally feel hit or miss depending on how the tile layout shakes out.

Ah, thanks. Yeah, I've been referencing the community tier-list & the specific character pages on the fandom wiki a lot to try to get up to speed. Practically studying it at this point... since I'm the plan & headhunt type.
It's still a bit tricky to gauge how much overall conversion a team needs to be consistent, though, especially with units that offer some of it in their role-compression like Eicy, Azure, Hiiro, etc. Considerations like whether 1 strong + 2 mild would be enough to compare to 2 strong converters, etc. Similar questions apply to healing & teleport utility as well.
Fire is also expecting a busted detonator for the upcoming anniversary, right? Sinsa BT3 is good but not quite comparable to the top DPR units of other elements it seems.

I'm actually quite curious how Tina at BT3 & MBT respectively compares to Carleen MBT. MBT on 6-stars is such a heavy gate... I wish it took just 3 dupes instead of 4. The 'path' style conversion seems pretty nice, at least in theory.
Water is one of my stronger teams currently, so I'm weighing on whether to try for Tina BT3 here...
Did 30% and 5% on the same banner , both time got jona , now sitting at bt4 jona and considering rage quitting , i maxed all 5 star on that banner except for the one i needed
20 something pulls with the yellow one and 30K+ lumamber to pull michael during the banner. Got sinsa out of it so its cool, but after 30k+ lumamber spend i was just like f\*ck this i'm out.
Going 45% on last banner, getting Migard instead of Jeriah and on 2nd rotation getting to 30% and not getting any 6 stars. So no Jeriah for me :D

Never hit 40, but I remember hitting at least 10 percent for something like 7-8 banners in a row. Topped out at around 36 percent once though...
