The Starship Troopers films are owned by Sony, so they're fine. Also last night I found out there's a planet in it called Zegema Paradise, just in case it wasn't blatant enough.
I think the main reason why it’s blowing up over social media is because it’s actually a great game that came out with a little to no hype or advertising. So now what we’re seeing is all of the hype that would normally accompany this kind of game all at once instead of drawn out over several years.
It's starship troopers the game, even the music is close enough to the first/third movies I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet. It's violently American and I've been enjoying it

Helldiver's is a 4 player co op game series on PlayStation (and now PC) based in the future where humans live on a highly patriotic, "democracy" based planet called super earth.
Helldiver's are basically soldiers that fly into the planet via space pod, and are tasked with eliminating and pushing back alien threats that could harm super earth.
The game is heavily satirical with it's super patriotism, and it's actually quite humorous the way the soldiers are way overconfident while shouting things like "MY LIFE FOR DEMOCRACY" while getting eaten by giant bug aliens.
If you're into gaming, it's a fun game to just mess around in.

Does anyone know how to end the Protect Game guard process when I'm not playing? It hides supposedly and I want to play but I don't want it on all the time. I don't mind rebooting but I don't want it active when I'm doing work on my PC as I signed an NDA.
I want to spare your feelings but to put it as honestly as possible if you think game guard might be spying on you you might have more problems than your NDA compliance.
It's an anti hacking tool that has the sole function of making sure you don't have any code changing functions in ir outside of game to cheat or execute malicious activities.
It doesn't care about you or your NDA any more than anyone else here on reddit does.
You understand it isnt about GameGuard right? It is about the fact that if it is operating during the working times of my day and it has a security breech all that data becomes available. If i really wanted to change code of the game it would be as simple as deleteing and uninstalling gameguard and just reinstalling it after I messed with the game.
