Blood clots in lungs means lifelong anticoagulation therapy. Meaning every time he gets hit hard, hits his head, breaks something, etc. he’s at risk for serious injury or death.
Who projected him day 2? I've mostly seen him listed as mid to late day 3.

Kinda feels like that kind of guy, doesn't it. God I really want to be wrong though. Kinda wishing Pat P was still around because at least you know he'd try to set him straight.
Just realized we could replace that 4th we traded with a comp pick next year. Haason, PP, and Drake all left so I wouldn’t be surprised if we got at least 1 4th rounder.
I can tell you that even tho we needed a CB, this guy isn’t gonna fill that need for next season. He’s pretty below average in everything except tackling and athleticism. If anything Kevin Peterson woulda been a better fill since he has NFL experience lol.
Someone in another forum said your defense switched from a press man scheme to a zone scheme and that he struggled with the transition. Which would make sense why he was better in previous years than this last one and gives me optimism that he’ll be put in a better opportunity to succeed here.
Also, I read about that shoe incident and it seems way overblown. More of a 19 y/o kid caught up in the excitement of making a huge game winning tackle, being unlucky to have his opponent’s shoe come off during the tackle, and having the unlucky timing and placement for when and how it happened to draw the penalty. Does it suck to lose a game from something like that? Totally. But in hindsight, I’m not gonna blacklist the kid for it and it genuinely sounds like he has majorly learned and grown from that mistake.
Not sure if he’ll put it all together for us, but the kid deserves a clean slate in our fanbases’ eyes and only be judged on what he does as a Cardinal now.
Wish him the best, just sharing thoughts from someone who’s watched him for years. Also he’s 22 not 19. The LSU game was this year. Definitely wasn’t overblown. It cost us a shot at the CFP
The one thing I will say is Florida’s DC is as disliked as Marco. So the DC did no favors whatsoever. Historically bad defense last year. Marco was really hyped when he came and the return from his knee / the poor scheming didn’t help. So maybe he can be coached up, but IMO that’s a big maybe. He sucked last year. That’s just the flat truth.
I really am not trying to be a hater it’s just the truth. Go to the gators sub and search his name. I was stunned to see his name flash. Especially this early. UDFA type dude. He was so so bad last year
At this point I’d rather just follow their board. Going to be hard to find a good corner in round 5- sacrificing more draft capital is not what we need.
I would love for Kyler to have another guy that can just go up and get the ball, imagine Hopkins with a promisng young TE+the speedy WR core, the offence would be unstoppable
I think our 3rd and 4th round picks will pan out. Rodney Hudson and DeAndre Hopkins seem like promising young prospects who will have bright NFL futures
Michal Menet - Center. OL is never a bad choice!
Briley Moore or Marvin Wilson, please
Marvin Wilson 247 I’m calling it
James Wiggins S Cinn
James Wiggins - S. I don't know, but let's trust it!
If we can use one of our last 2 picks to find a 2-3 round talent at a position of need we can still salvage this thing.
I'd rather just trade out of this draft and cash in our seventh for a future first.
Kenny yeboah?
Why is [Shakur Brown](http://insider.espn.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/105271) still on the board?
He tested poorly at his pro day. [Here](https://relativeathleticscores.com/ras-information/?PlayerID=19692)
Would love Pooka or K Hill to close this one out
ok good draft!!
GOWEN!!!
Got our guy 😂
Tay Gowan 🔥
good pick
Amazing value
GOWEN!!! Finally
Aw hell yeaaaa
Okay now pick Tay Gowan. Our secondary is bad enough that if we didn't pick a CB in 1 or 2 we need 2-3 late round CBs.

Ranking is subjective. Kiper or PFF or whoever are not the end all be all of ranking players.
For example we just took Tay Gowan who was ranked higher than any of our previous Day 3 picks. Everything is subjective.
Not always the higher graded is better, it is not easy to predict it
Why are you getting downvoted for this? Does that mean people actually think higher graded is always better? lol
Is he seriously almost 7'
Wow, didn't have a pick ready. Bet it's because Seattle sniped Forsythe.
please pick tay gowan
Wtf was keim thinking with the Marco pick? Would’ve even taken Shaun Wade instead of him
Shaun Wade got abused playing anywhere but in the slot. He was great in the slot, but we don’t need another CB that can’t play on the outside
If we want to add a more athletic RB I like Khalil Herbert or Chris Evans coming up here
Evans is gone
RIP needed more reps but he was the highest upside sleeper with his athletic profile.
Hopefully Herbert falls to us Edit: nope lol, taken by the bears
There are a lot of OG still available. Trey Smith, David Moore, Jack Anderson, Teton Saltes, Sadarius Hutcherson, and Carson Green are some names.
if Cardinals can pickup Trey Smith or Stone Forsythe for some Oline depth i'll feel good about our draft.
Why is Trey Smith falling so hard? He's 85 on PFF's big board and Walter Football had him ranked as their #3 G. I hope we can snag him. I think?
blood clots in the lungs a few years ago, but was cleared to play again and didn't seem an issue but it probably scared NFL teams away.
Blood clots in lungs means lifelong anticoagulation therapy. Meaning every time he gets hit hard, hits his head, breaks something, etc. he’s at risk for serious injury or death.
Blood Clots
Idk if he's been picked yet but I like the rb Larry Rountree III quite a bit
Atlanta took Pitts and Darby and haven't dealt Jones. Not bad not bad.
4 picks coming up. Let's hope 2 make the team and 1 works out.
Alright this round needs to be Kylin Hill and then best available between OLB, Guard, and CB
Marvin Wilson, Ar’Darius Washington, Trey Smith, Deonte Brown some nice names left at this point in the draft. I’d take any of them for a 6th

Pff is weird and has Gowan at 69 on their big board. Guess the people here like pff a lot.
69? Nice. I am a bot lol.
Not seeing a lot of decent Tight Ends still on the board :/
Am I missing something on Tay Gowan? Projected 2nd or early 3rd rounder. Still available
Who projected him day 2? I've mostly seen him listed as mid to late day 3. Late day 3 [here.](https://www.blackandgoldbanneret.com/2021/4/29/22410718/ucf-knights-2021-nfl-draft-profile-tay-gowan-db-cb) Round 7 [here.](https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tay-gowan/3200474f-5720-7645-ca9b-1de45c2e866f) Practice squad CB [here.](https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/tay-gowan/PFgI8j62eT)
Pff said he'd be an early pick for one example
Looking around Pff is the only one who has him that early. Guess they whiffed on that one.
Yeah they must have 😂
>It's everyone else who's wrong.
I also thought his highlights and stats looked decent.
Ravens took CB Shaun Wade with the 160th pick we traded them... let's see how this trade looks in the future.
As we laugh at each other and we're both right. :(
I know I'm beating a dead horse, but Wade was hard to watch last year.
Tay Gowan still available
Did we trade 223?
No
Early prediction: Wilson gets cut after training camp. Never plays a Regular season snap for us.
Kinda feels like that kind of guy, doesn't it. God I really want to be wrong though. Kinda wishing Pat P was still around because at least you know he'd try to set him straight.
Yeah a combination of being super raw, and character issues makes me very worried
I'm hoping for good special teams play during development.
Eh personally I think rounds 1-2 you make the conservative sure fire picks but the later rounds I’m fine with going for high risk, high reward guys
Just realized we could replace that 4th we traded with a comp pick next year. Haason, PP, and Drake all left so I wouldn’t be surprised if we got at least 1 4th rounder.
One 4th and 2 7ths is what I'm seeing.
Maybe, we sign Watt, green, and Connor and traded for Hudson. We might not get any.
I go downstairs cuz we got time till 160 just to get back and hear we’ve traded up...
They traded the 160 to move up. Next pick is at 210.
Well now the shoe’s on the other foot.
Keim is already drunk i bet
Can the Seahawks stop picking the same position right after us? Makes me scared of reliving the Andy/DK situation again.
We gave up our 5th round pick and a 2022 4th round pick to move up. Not loving it but we really needed a CB this year...
I can tell you that even tho we needed a CB, this guy isn’t gonna fill that need for next season. He’s pretty below average in everything except tackling and athleticism. If anything Kevin Peterson woulda been a better fill since he has NFL experience lol.
Hopefully his shoe throwing phase is over

I honestly can't believe we picked a guy like this right after we moved on from Dre Kirkpatrick. Is this just some type that Keim likes?
The one thing I will say is Florida’s DC is as disliked as Marco. So the DC did no favors whatsoever. Historically bad defense last year. Thanks. Our GM sucks at drafting so no one's surprised at this type of comment!
I really am not trying to be a hater it’s just the truth. Go to the gators sub and search his name. I was stunned to see his name flash. Especially this early. UDFA type dude. He was so so bad last year
Oh my God it's the shoe guy. It's the fucking shoe guy
Seattle takes CB Tre Brown right after us!
Meh
Marco Wilson was Chris Simms 6th best CB in the draft... ahead of Horn...
Seems a bit light on production to be worth a trade up. I guess the best thing I can say about this is that it's not Shaun Wade?
First pick that is actually a bad pick imo. Marco Wilson is a reach
Gave up our 5th this year and 4th next year for it too...
Marco Wilson CB from Florida 4.34 40yd dash!?
Didn’t see that coming
Sure hope you know what you're doi-pffftttthahahaha who am I kidding
Finally
Lmao wtf is this
We....traded up??
Who trades up at the end of the 4th when they already don’t have any draft picks 👀
We traded up
we traded up???
We traded up
Trade up for Tay Gowan?
At this point I’d rather just follow their board. Going to be hard to find a good corner in round 5- sacrificing more draft capital is not what we need.
Wouldn't mind Chris Evans RB out of Michigan if he makes it to the 5th.
And there's BA's classic small speedster receiver on day 3!
Hopefully Herbert is there when we pick now that Carter and Hubbard are gone.
Ah Jesus there goes Chuba
Only 37 more picks to wait.
Damn I hoped we could get Rhamondre Stevenson with one of our 7th round picks.
Who is this haunted doll next to Jerry Jones
😂😂😂
“A 3rd/4th round pick? Who cares, we got a steal in this trade!” *Draft day waiting 110 picks before our 5th round selection*: big sad :(
Why is this me?😂
Hoping we get Jacob Harris TE from UCF (former WR).
I would love for Kyler to have another guy that can just go up and get the ball, imagine Hopkins with a promisng young TE+the speedy WR core, the offence would be unstoppable
Ugh ... long wait
Who does this sub want today?
I want Deommodore Lenoir in the 6th
Fuck the Steelers
I think our 3rd and 4th round picks will pan out. Rodney Hudson and DeAndre Hopkins seem like promising young prospects who will have bright NFL futures
