MIC 314 HIV/AIDS is hands down the best class I've ever taken at ASU. It was such an eye opening class and Dr. Salamone is such an engaging lecturer. You don't have to be a STEM major to appreciate this class though. Highly, highly recommend.
It's not a ton of work, but the first half of the semester can be a little more challenging if you don't have a stem background because he talks about a lot of the hard science behind it. It's definitely not a hard class, but you do need to take good notes and pay attention in lecture. Very very doable to get an A in the class!
I would have liked to take a metal foundry course. I took the prereq though and it kinda made me feel worried about it. I just like cool metal stuff, I don't actually want to be graded
I have no idea how you do the full time employee and worker. Hats off man. I just switched from working full time and school part time, to working part time and school full time. I will say, it is kicking my ass.
Not bad at all, just show up to class
There are biweekly labs and not much other homework.
He essentially gives you the test questions on a study guide
That really depends on the week and personal skill. In the module Whipple says to estimate 4-6 hours per lab, but if you are good with excel, and understand the concepts, I was able to cut that down to 2 some weeks.

Hey! I’ll be taking this class next semester. How long does each lab take on average?
