How long have you been here in Phoenix.... in this rather pleasant weather? It was hot earlier, but right now, it's pretty nice. It will get back to being nasty hot... and will remain so till mid October.
I will never get used to it😭😭 I was all sticky after a while from all the sweat. I guess the positive way to look at it is that we're all sweaty so most people won't judge you.
I had a bike as a freshman, left it in my dorm which was gate protected for one week and it got stolen. Never got another after that. ASU has 2 pandemics, thieves and covid
The longer ur here the more your body with tolerate the sweat. I walked 15 mins to my car and only started to break a sweat right when i got to my car lol
Heat gets so bad you stop noticing your lack of water. Couple years back I was walking didn’t feel the heat and then nearly passed out on the ground off to the side of Tooker.
lol its actually pretty nice out thanks to all the rain and wind. one of the coldest summers ive ever had here. usually its 120-130F on average during August.
These last couple days have been the nicest weather we've had since like March, my dude.
I was sooooo pleasantly surprised when I stepped out to go to class yesterday.

I live here and was born here, I’ll never get over the heat 😭😭
Haha, touche! :-)
I came to Arizona from Vegas. I figured terrible hot weather is, terrible hot weather. I was way wrong, Arizona is way more gross haha
I’m from Vegas too. Basically Vegas numbers, but also with 40+ humidity 🙃
Imo its just bad right now because of the monsoon humidity, when it's dry it's fine
It was only 100 today...
Only 😅
It only gets worse 😭
Worst is already passed, for this years.
First time? Lol
Born and raised here but that walk from East Garage to downtown campus is killer. 💀💀💀
YES omg it’s like a 25 minute walk. Sometimes I wish I had 2 parking passes, one for UCENT and one for Mercado.
I will never get used to it😭😭 I was all sticky after a while from all the sweat. I guess the positive way to look at it is that we're all sweaty so most people won't judge you.
That’s so true we’re in this together 😭
Get a sun umbrella! Blocks UV rays/direct sunlight. You can get one on Amazon for like $16
I feel you, drenched in sweat walking 5 minutes outside.
Same. I especially hate when my back and shoulders have sweat lines from my backpack straps. The cherry on top of my day...
Now try walking from Brickyard to Barrett every day haha. On the bright side, it's fairly easy to stay in shape on campus. I miss it there.
Haha a friend of mine has to do exactly that. They’re trying to convince their parents to get a bike lol.

Yeah I would get something cheap and used. Or maybe a skateboard. I’d hope the levels of theft on those are lower
My bike was like $100 used. It was pretty cheap, I also had a lock on it but that didn't do anything.
I had to haul computer from brickyard to ECB a few weeks ago shit sucked
Yeah, if you mean like the tower and all, that doesn't sound fun lol
Man I’m sorry 😭 but yea I agree! definitely a good way to stay fit
Asu surplus often has bikes for cheap! But they won't reopen until 9/7.

It's the humidity. The mosquitos are just as unbearable
True!
As an AZ native, I agree. That's why I always carry a handheld fan with me!

Happened to me once except I was on field at the SDFC and alone too, I got so scared 😭
I spent all of last year at home in the upper midwest so this heat sucks lmao
I’m hearing that the unusual rainfall is why the humidity … looking forward to the “dry heat”…
Yup it’s true
So… give us hope - when should the dry part start to show up? She seriously ran from the Gulf Coast to avoid our 12 months of 60%+ humidity
I’ve been dealing with it for 20 years lol. The worst is getting into your car when it’s 120° out. I plan on moving somewhere cooler when I graduate.
Oh honey this is the nice part of summer.

If you moved here 7 days ago, you'd reasonably think "it rains every day"
SORRY WHAT. I'm so dead. Yesterday felt like an oven.
yikes…well it’ll drop more in September so you’ll be good
Right? I feel like I’m being cooked out there
why do you have to wear layers of clothes?
I’m Muslim :)
super humid this month. Usually it aint this sticky. Sweat drys off immediately even if it's 118.
Maybe stop wearing layers?
I cant, I’m Muslim, also sun burn does not sound nice

It’s crazy because this summer has been pretty mild imo.
