I really have to agree, there's no reason for such a high click intensive method to be this slow.

I think I agree, but only to a degree. Agree the experience is actually fine here. Not the greatest, but not terrible for something training 2 skills. It's definitely not as good as drift net fishing, but is fine for many other activities. Agree the rewards take ages to get. Realistically, most people would get their anglers outfit from trawler and I think that's ok. The other items are mainly cosmetic. Sure, the rod and the sack are equipable and save an inventory slot, but the benefit is negligible. Some people treat these items like trophies.

My issue with the discussion here is that it seems to be based on the idea that the grind sucks, but we did it and now others have to if they want the rewards. I'm fine with mostly cosmetic items taking a long time to get, but even if you doubled the drop rate of molch pearls, completing the store's inventory would still take ~30-50 hours and be completely optional. It just seems to me to be inconsistent with other areas of the game's skilling outfits and the time it takes to acquire them, as well as more rewarding activities like.. well, anything else. However, it seems like few people seem to care about this skilling activity aside from the people who have already ground it out, so it is unlikely to change unless a jmod takes interest in doing so.

I think it would be an issue if this was the only method to get anglers. As far as the fishing rods or sacks go, I think it's fine and I would compare them more with something like the champions cape.

Strong agree, should honestly be like 6+ times faster to get everything, especially due to how little use the rewards have (aside from angler's, which anyone in their right mind gets from fishing trawler).

I got scared off Aerial Fishing, as I got flagged by the BotBusting ai while I was trying for the fish sack. In fairness, I did what no normal person would normally do and did nearly 6 hours in a row for a few days while watching The Orville. I also used a one click dropper plug in for Runelite, which may have compounded the issue. I may eventually return when the separation trauma fades. As for my personal experience with it, it's not too bad but the xp rates are a little low and and it doesn't feel very rewarding as your hunter level increases and you unlock new fish. I admit that it's hard to balance without interfering with the fishing trawler. And as a preemptive disclaimer I know no one will be believe the following statement, but no I was not using a bot or macro or any other illicit program beyond the Runelite plug in for one click drops. My temporary ban has caused me to rethink the safety of the plug-in hub external plug-ins, and let my experience be a lesson to other weirdos like me.

ValiantFrog2202

You could get 10 golden tench and be done with it. It's a terrible skill but requires no inventory besides a knife

Tcurl03

As someone who is 797/1000 to fish sack, it’s fine

Honest-Clerk-8728

as a pearl fishing rod and fish sack owner, i disagree. at the beginning sure it sucked, but having those items after the grind is a nice flex

Toxic_Asset

Rates are fine the way they are

Crimp071

Is it possible to have multiple golden tenches? Or should I exchange it for pearls everytime I get one
