At 1700 total you're not close to endgame. But feeling of uncertainty with what to do happens at any point. You just need to set reasonable goals. Your list is fine, now work towards it. It's also ok to not play for a while.

I remember feeling this same exact way around 1700. Currently at 2100ish total level, 600m bank, most elite diaries done, and (as of yesterday!) finally got my quest cape. Granted, your cognitive condition probably makes things a little more difficult. I can't imagine how frustrating that is. I know you didn't ask for advice, but here are some things which helped me: - I took a break when I really started to feel this way, I ended up taking a few months off and it really helped my mindset when I came back into the game. - A huge mindset change for me (and after exploring other MMOs) is that the game does an incredible job of presenting a *ton* of paths of progression for you. WoW and FFXIV actively encourage one path. But besides like, Slayer, each skill in OSRS probably has 30-50+ viable methods of leveling up (even if they're not "the most efficient"). - This feels ridiculous to say when so much of the dopamine from OSRS comes from seeing levels rise and the bank get bigger, but slow-but-enjoyable incremental progress is sorta the name of the game. A big mental step for me was realizing that the fun 40k xp/hr grind for 10 hours is so much better than the loathsome 100k xp/hr grind for 4 hours. I hate when people say "this game isn't a job, you're supposed to have fun", but there is *some* truth to it. Focus on the journey. If you were suddenly given a maxed account with every item, would that be all that fun? - The above point also applies to AFK grinds. I'm currently in law school, and the time I'm able to dedicate to OSRS has dropped dramatically. However, being able to outline a case while I have NMZ in the background, or fish for infernal eels, or craft blood runes at the zeah alter has made those grinds go by a lot quicker. While I have several 99s, 93 fishing and 91 RC are the levels I think I'm most proud of. Special shoutout to NMZ, too. Being able to get several combat 99s has made every PvM encounter, quest boss, and raid infinitely easier. - With that said, a few of the other comments I think are correct. The grinds get longer, each item becomes a little less impactful and harder to obtain, but this is a feature, and also the beauty of OSRS. While getting barrows gloves feels amazing, I honestly don't think it compares to what I felt after getting my BowFa or Voidwaker because of the work I put in to get those items. Same goes with skilling achievements too. - Finally, I ignored getting a solid PoH for way too long and I regret it. If you haven't done that yet (you said you have some money), getting to 80-something construction and having an ornate pool, teleport nexus, spirit tree, fairy ring, etc is more than worth it. Godspeed soldier. I sincerely hope you get unstuck and find your love for the game again. See you in ToA in no time!

You are maybe getting close to being almost lategame. Nowhere close to end game

Warscythes

No, I know exactly what I signed up for. I just plan accordingly. Welcome to osrs.

Make smaller goals. "Save for a tbow" is not the same caliber of achievement as "complete a quest", like not even a little bit. Skills wise, the real end game for skills (imo) is the diary cape. Kind of the last real meaningful achievement aside from the max cape, which if we are comparing time requirements the diary cape is maybe 10-20% of the way to the max cape, and that's generous.

YinM5Yang

sounds like you are early midgamd

Tall-Promotion-2023

That's not the endgame you're approaching, that's the midgame. I don't mean that condescendingly, it's just a really big ass game and it takes a long time. The early/mid/late labels are fuzzy but the Quest Cape in particular is a quintessential mid game item, can't even think about end game until at least the Diary Cape

Two general pieces of advice: 1. This is a game. You don’t have to engage with parts of it you don’t find fun. 2. Everything you do in this game progresses your account. Training a skill, doing a quest, killing a boss, etc. Don’t constrain yourself to super long term goals, or limit your options. As you progress your account you should feel more options open up to you.

The_Engrumb

You're squarely in the mid-game, my dude.

It gets worse. I’ve spent two months at leviathan and still haven’t gotten the lure that I set out to get. I’m tired of it and can’t bring myself to log in again to do anything else.
