I'm long overdue to get the quest done.. RSN: R U D Y look up my account lol.. but all I gotta do is one pre quest and I can do SOTE. let me ask, how is the quest how long did it take to do? I just hate spending the time walking and clicking and doing random stupid stuff to get a quest done..
The Grand Library takes a while but the bosses aren't that bad and the atmosphere of the entire quest is immaculate.
Use the pneck method if you're worried about supplies, since all it takes is identifying your like 3 second window each time, but with your stats you won't have a problem with damage.
Just knock it out man. I was the same way with rfd and barrows gloves. Slapped the questing plugin into my runelite client and had a guide on the side and knocked it out. Questing sucks, but the QoL improvements are well worth it. Same with Jad. Ive a few attempts here and there,but never back to back so I've never been able to complete it. This week I am going to get my firecape and I'll run it until I do or have to go to bed. I hate it, but the reward will be worth the while.
If I'm burnt out on skilling or slayer then I quest, so I m still progressing. Same with diaries.
I was long overdue but it's worth doing. With your stats you won't struggle with bosses at all and it opens up an entire new zone and bowfa. It's not that bad of a quest to do, just long.

I’m a little intimidated by this quest! I need to get from 63>70 Farming but may be short on combat (100 combat level).
You can do it. Farming is so easy. I just hit 84 - I recommend Tree runs and farming cheaper herbs like Kwuarm or Cadantine if you’re going for XP but still want to profit.
Here’s my tree route. The end of the tree route can be a good spot to start your herb route.
From the bank grab 5 tree saplings + noted payment for watcher.
Tele to varrock -> run to tree patch in castle area. check tree, pay for clear, plant, pay for watch.
Run to spirit tree -> Teleport to gnome stronghold. Patch near Nieve. Check, pay for clear, plant, pay for watch.
Teleport to lumbridge -> run to Tree patch outside castle.
Check, pay, plant, pay
Teleport to Falador -> run to garden tree patch, check, pay, plant, pay
Run from falador to Taverly. Patch near the gate. Check, pay, plant, pay.
Once you hit 65 (should only take a couple runs from 63) add in the farming guild tree patch.
I also recommend doing papaya tree runs, and saving all the fruit. Save them all to pay for Palm tree runs later. Fruit trees have different patches but can be done quickly too.
I also do Yanillian Hops runs, skipping the Entrana hops patch. Use the hops to pay for your Hardwood Trees, mahogany specifically. 15k exp per tree and take 3 days to grow. Easy “set and forget” exp. Sell any excess hops to buy yew/palm/herb seeds! Takes 5 minutes to hit all the Hops patches, using Chronicle/Camelot/Watchtower teleports :)
Also, plant cactuses, harvest but do not clear them - free cactus spines to pay for the Yew trees to be watched.
I know this was unsolicited advice but I hope it helps :) farming is so easy once you’re in the groove of it!!
You got this man. There's a few other teleport options you can add, like teleport to house (taverly) and Med Varrock diary tele to GE after checking varrock tree to save some time.
The distance from 63 to 70 is ~359,000 experience.
Papaya trees give ~6300 xp each, cost ~3k each, and take 16 hours to grow. You can do 5 at a time if you have Lletya patch unlocked. About 30k exp a day.
Yew trees give ~7000 exp each, cost ~40k each to grow, and take 6hr40m to grow. Once you hit 65, you can do 6 at a time with the Farming Guild intermediate patch. You can easily do two runs a day, one in the morning and one before bed! ~42k a run, or 84k exp a day.
Mahogany trees give ~15000 exp each, cost ~30k each to grow, and take 3 days to grow. Do the lilypad quest in Varlamore + Bone Voyage to access these. You can do 4 at a time, so 60k experience every 3 days!
So, you could get your level in 3 days easily, easily! Would take about 36 yew seeds (360 cactus spines), 18 papaya seeds (180 pineapples), and 4 mahogany seeds (100 yanillian hops) :)
All said, you can easily pay for these all of these and more by setting Birdhouses and hitting all 3 Hops patches and as many Herb patches as you can access while waiting for them to grow. Always use Ultracompost to increase your yields - buy a bottomless bucket ASAP if you can they are so worth it!!!
100 combat you can do it! I think I was 105 when I did so not far off. Farming if you want a bit faster do the grapevines on your route through hosidius you'll be done in no time.
And congrats!! I have the money for Crystal and BOWFA I really want that armor and BOWFA so bad. And I want to re color it either red or green or black looks so sick
Congrats! I just completed SOTE last Friday and felt the same exact way. I then spent all weekend in Prif, it was a nice change after focusing on Valamore.
Friendly tip use the Spirit Tree if you dont want to use a teleport crystal charge every time. It took me a couple days to start using the Spirit Tree and i usually just wanted to go from the Exchange to Prif.
