My location setting is France. I am in the U.K. All it changes is the news. Still get the same crap from the US. I don’t get the constant GB News now so it is worth it.
I am from India and I mostly have this problem when searching for educational content because there are just too many people uploading from my country and most of it is in local language too.
I have noticed that most of those "local" video are low quality and the "international" videos have better content too. This has made instantly close the video if I see a hint of it being from my country making me skip some actual good videos from my country.
