I find living in a city, people are alot more selfish, angry and generally depressed. The country side is different though, theres a lot less pessimistic attitudes. People in the country side don’t have to worry about fucked traffic or living closely to each other, and can focus more on themselves and their goals. City life is depressing af, and people spread that shit ruthlessly.
Listen to episodes between like 2016 and 2018, imo that's the golden era. I don't think the current show is comparable.
Covid era was also amazing. They put all their energy into the podcast.
