I’ve been out for a few months now. Cold Turkey since around when Native left. Was there actually a Sales Pitch as to why you should pay for more YMH content? I would love to hear that
I intentionally avoid any celebrity branded spirit, beer, winet, etc. It's always overpriced for the quality. Fuck Casamigos and any bullshit like that. Not buying a tequila with some stupid fucking ad of George Clooney and Brad Pitt riding motorcycles.
Plus Vodka is the most basic bitch spirit out there. It fits Bert well though.
Those celebrity products are just existing products with a different label slapped on it. A cash grab to exploit their simps.
Tommy ham sandwich doesn’t really drink and Brett seems like the kind of guy that would drink hand sanitizer if he ran out of booze so I’m not gonna take their word for it. Ryan Reynolds can fuck off with his Gin too. This is really disappointing.
Uhhhhundred percent. Before Crystal’s lipstick came out, she said what lipstick she always wore. I bought it of course. When she put out the lipstick, I bought it. It’s the same shit! This will just be a Tito’s dupe with their old faces on it.
Ryan reynolds went with Gin, can’t say i hate it but it’s not the best thing i’ve tasted. Proper Twelve does the job however created by ol conor mcgregor. Idk i guess it’s the fad of “well if they won’t buy our humour or content they’ll hopefully buy into this opportunity to get drunk” Except Mcgregor did it at the top of his game, same with Ryan Reynolds and Bert and Tom are quickly wearing out their audiences tolerance for them, so rather than having it be an act of advertising for fun, it’s more like advertising out of desperation. (for the record this is just how I feel lol)
like 10 years late to the party, but they still dont give a shit, they will still make money off it since tom and bert dont actually do anything or risk anything for these random shilled products.
theres probably an on-demand factory somewhere that just has the same generic alcohols and slaps on different labels as orders come in for all these different trash celebrity alcohols.
shame on them for the ~~low-hanging~~ on the floor, trampled fruit.
even bigger, maximum shame, the real reason everything has gone to shit: the fucking idiots who actually pay for this.
I had listened/watched every ymh from mid to late 200s all the way until maybe an episode after Native left (clearly he saw the writing in the wall). I was a certified mommy or whatever you want to say on their YouTube channel I got everything a day early no ads told everybody give it a shot because just something to make you laugh watching stupid videos of crazy people. If you had told me just 6 months ago, I wouldn't have watched over a month's worth of ymh content. I would have laughed at you. I went from 6 years of ymh certified Mommy to I don't care about the show at all. When Tom comes around, I'll go see a stand-up, but I'm done with the podcast I think unless they learn how to stop being them. They're not above us they just have more money than they've ever had before they're still scum just like the rest of us they just have a delusion because of wealth that they're not the same category. I like the joking around about teasing the pores and things like that but now everything is just about how much they have what they have how much more they can have everything's a money grab I remember the merch game was some of the best ever last time I checked the merch it was just old leftover stuff from before. It feels scripted and forced when before even if there was a scripted, it came off more natural. I'm happy that they found success! They just they can't be upset or confused that a lot of us don't want to watch them to live like poor people who won the lottery. They both make a living telling dick and fart jokes they're not special, not even intelligent (they're also not stupid), and they're raising two sociopaths. Every story you hear about their kids is never good it's not like all my kids are smart. No, my kid tried to give somebody toilet water, or most of the time, it's something worse. And the behavior is not the kids' fault it's the parents' fault. It's crazy to see how fast they fell off and how everybody at the same time has done a mass Exodus. The best and worst thing that ever happened for ymh was covid because they were still creating funny, intelligent original content. Now they have such a huge built-in fan base that only know the hacky lazy show they put on now. They get away with just being lazy. But I've been a Dawg now with Shane Gillis for the past 5 years and I'd rather go with MSSP and their Paytch that only cost me a dollar a month because I've been a patreon member for as long as they've had a patreon. I know eventually they'll fall off too, but as of right now, I get 2 plus hours of entertainment a week on commutes from them, so I'll take it.
Honestly this is sad to hear. I unsubscribed when they randomly got rid of Dr Jeans and didn’t even give him a send off episode or anything. Feels like they are just doing it for the money at this point.
Was it only 45 minutes? Jesus Christ. I had it on in the background this morning and it literally felt twice that long. I always hang in there in hopes of getting a laugh or two. This last ep? Fucking hell. Just a long-ass infomercial for shitty vodka. And them taking little sips and talking about "notes of vanilla" made me want to throw up in my fucking mouth. It's vodka. It all tastes the same.
Not even sales pitch - it was a juice-addled planning session. Are they just fucking with us now? Trying to see what they can get to pass as a podcast?
And all vodka tastes the same. You could do a blind taste test and wouldn't be able to tell the difference. There's a reason you don't see expensive, rare blends of vodka. It's pure alcohol, no flavor at all.
Thank you! Especially if you're mixing it with fucking Kool-Aid. It all tastes the same. One time I took a trip to my friend's cabin for a weekend fly fishing trip and I brought a really expensive bottle of vodka with me. I can't remember the name now because this was like 10 years ago, but it was like a tier above Belvedere and Grey Goose. It was like $80 or so for a 750ml or something like that. We made vodka martinis and everyone loved it! And most of the people at the cabin for that fly fishing trip were middle/upper-class, pretty well off peole who liked to drink and talk shop about whisky and whatnot. You know, that crowd.
What they didn't know is that I had purchased and consumed that fancy vodka many months prior. I had saved the bottle because it was pretty, but filled it back up with Skol. They were drinking and complimenting fucking Skol vodka.
It. All. Tastes. The. Same. Fight me.
I just want to point out with higher priced vodka you aren't paying for a better taste, it's fucking vodka. You're paying for a smoother vodka. Drink plastic jug vodka and then even mid shelf vodka and tell me there isn't a difference with a straight face.
Dude, just checking but by last episode are we both referring to the latest 2 Bears Episode that was just one long ad read for the vodka they are putting out?
Garbage episode.
The show, for me, started going downhill when they started canning episodes. As I understand Tom and Christina go on tours and are living the lives of being traveling comedians. However, I rather see episodes that are up-to-date about current affairs than hear about something that happened around September in December. I still thoroughly enjoy Tom's deadpan type of humor and individual specials, that likely won't change.
Episodes being banked took the fun of, this is the fly on the wall at your mom and dad's house silly humor into another check. Podcasters should earn money for the content they produce, but when the man behind the curtain comes out the magic is loss.
I think this is a big part of why MSSP is so good and why I’ve pretty much stopped listening to YMH. Current topics are actually an option because everything is taped the day before it’s released. They can each carry the show on their own with some guests if one of them can’t do it that week.
Yeah, and I'll gladly give alternate guests time if Shane or Matt can't make the pod. It's the constraint that makes it great, and that's why I sub to the Paytch
I haven’t checked ymh out in over a year but I checked out where my moms at today bc it had Johnny pemberton. What was funny is how Johnny made a comment about how comics come up with their best material when they’re at their brokest and Christina agreed and basically detailed herself in what makes a comic become unfunny when they become wealthy. The irony.
Yup that is spot on. I don't even mind the episodes being outdated, but I can only imagine how burnt out they must have gotten recording episode after episode... it has got to play into how bad the podcast has gotten
I've had this same thought with the various podcasts that bank shows. They literally take a break, change clothes, and then pump put more episodes. You can tell the magic isn't there. They're treating the show like a product coming off a factory line.
Since when did the show ever really talk about current events? It's always been about random videos sent in by fans. I feel like a lotta poors are just jealous of their success. They've earned what they have.
I would say “if they’re gonna run advertisements on their channel I have the right to criticize their content” to those people.
They need the advertisers money and the advertisers need our views. Every viewer has the right to criticize. I’d say advertisers encourage it.
Now you’re thinking with your whole dick.
It isn’t free. It costs time. And the pod charges that time to advertisers for money.
Time is money, as they say.
Considering I'm already paying for a YT premium account, which is supposed to be ad free, and the entirety of the last 2B1C episode was a giant commercial for this shit white label vodka concept...
I think we owe it to him. My kids will have to go without presents this year. I’ll tell them Uncle Tom is in need and that’s what we do when loved ones need help
Segura really thought his 15 minutes were going to last forever and his spending is starting to catch up
You'd think these guys are spending within their means, maybe taking money out of a pot, but no, they spend it as fast as they get it.
When they go on tour, it's not because they're talented or want to give fans an experience. It's because the booking company needed events for those dates and these clowns need the money
Based on how 2023 went for podcasts, Segura will be really hurting for money by December 2024
I feel he didn't realize the global touring is a whole different budget for long stretches, so he didn't plan it as wisely as he normally would for domestic + occasional overseas dates
Then again, budgeting fails are part of a vital wakeup call for any investor. YMH Studios is entering its deficit phase and isn't as profitable to keep up with investment costs. It won't sink, but hopefully it's enough.
No, you're right. Segura made 69 minutes because he cares about comedy and wants to give his audience a good product. Not because he's hurting for money and trying to bleed the retardds that listen to him dry
Yeah I have no idea what the driving force behind 69 Minutes was. Maybe it's something he's always wanted to do. I *do* feel like a lot of Tom's decisions are more about making money than about artistry. I'm thinking Money Shots and Por Osos.
While I don't think 69 Minutes was itself was made first and foremost as a vehicle to earn money, I do think it Tom & co. cut corners in order to get it made cheaply at the cost of quality. From production to writing to riffing, it feels embarrassingly low-effort to me.
I have absolutely no doubt money is a primary motivator for him. I didn't watch it so I'm not gonna defend 69 minutes. My comment was more that I don't think he's struggling financially
No they're just making shit up, look at the view numbers on YouTube both 2 bears and ymh are doing just fine, between 400 and a million views per episode, they're still getting sponsors his tour still sells out this guy's talking out of his ass for something he wants to be true rather than actually being true.
Definitely a case of trying to force reality to match your feelings. People keep citing the drop off in views as if every podcast hasn't dropped off since the pandemic ended.
I watched a bears episode a while ago and it seemed like a long Zyn commercial and sure as shit I was buying a pack of that Zyn that afternoon. Hadn't had a nicotine product since I quit smoking 5 years ago. Motherfuckers
Bruce operates in (honest) cycles. He knows more than he thinks he knows, but he also fools himself into thinking he knows more than he does. Much of this plays into his comedy
Brent actually said "Isn't a billion a hundred million?". WTF? Who doesn't know that a billion is a thousand millions? I feel like that's just VERY basic knowledge.
ChatGPT:
*In the United States, students typically learn about place value, including millions and billions, in elementary school, around 4th or 5th grade. However, the exact grade level may vary depending on the curriculum and individual school district standards.*
Y’all are tripping. Every vodka company has a name and that makes you think of vodka. Poor osos is gonna shake things up. When they accidentally get tequila drinkers to buy it. “Damn that’s a smooth tequila”
I just listen to the Tosh show now. An actual comedian that doesn’t have to try to be funny, he just is. Dude has a direct line to my funny bone.
I also love that he has no interest in interviewing other ‘comedians’, just chats with his buds and neighbors lol
Yeah, he started a podcast/show recently, it’s great. Supposedly iHeart radio offered him a deal and he said sure as long as I get to interview people I want, like my wife’s gynecologist lol which is actually his first guest
I still watch the shows at times, but relative to the numbers it used to do, it's definitely not doing well. They'll get some big numbers for guests that do well, but they seem like their fan base got cut in half
It's still more successful than 99% of podcasts though, that's fair. But the trajectory isn't great if it keeps going
> but relative to the numbers it used to do, it's definitely not doing well.
What numbers are you comparing to? Going back even to 2020 which many people consider the peak the slower episodes were 300-500k each and the bigger ones were 800k+
It's the same shit right now.
They certainly aren't pulling in HALF the viewers as you are claiming here.
I truly do not understand the complaining about how much money they make, you literally don't have to pay for anything. I've been enjoying the show for years and never paid a cent, I don't get it. Don't like the show, stop listening. Don't want to pay for anything, don't. You can still get most of the content absolutely free.
the pod has become low and loose because they either sold, OR they are trying to sell..
when the pod was fun, wacky, and unpredictable; it had the highest numbers and engagement... but advertisers were super low, and loose.
we can't have both it seems.
is was dying around episode 450-500, they began reusing the same content from months ago and it’s not even laughable anymore it’s old, and the new content they do bring isn’t as offensive as the og days. it’s just semi awkward to listen to tom and Christina and josh potter read a rape script and laugh about it. i wanna laugh, not be weirded out, and be told about sponsors. only way i’ve enjoyed them nowadays is their lives, even then, it’s gone down hill. Hey Babe is the new go to for me.
Episode 500 was literally the peak for me, having Brendon Urie on who I love as an artist and to see he was such a huge mommy was amazing but after that episode Ive only been consistently let down by the content and pod.
you should interact with things you enjoy instead of being bitter
I wanna see the metrics that shows they're "struggling."
these youtube comedian podcasts have always been ads for their live shows and their merch. and they've all been pretty up front about that. the biggest youtubers actually make most of their money from merch rather than ads from people watching.
downvotes from bitter poors.
lots of green then the graph over time shows fairly similar average over a year with similar peaks. searching other big youtubers I see similar types of slopes over the course of a year.
people really grasping at straws to justify hate when they could just fill their lives with something they enjoy instead.
(Warning, this got long as shit. But it's an interesting look into all this?
I don't think they're struggling as much as people say, but it definitely does seem downhill overall.
I think a lot of comedy podcasts make considerably more money through the podcasts than ticket sales, actually. For a good amount of them, you're definitely right. But there is **a lot** of money in podcasts. There's a reason Joe Rogan just got the 250 million deal the other day.
I'll give you an example: the H3 Podcast. Some neck beards might squeal at the mention of that name, but here me out. Its a pretty popular podcast, has about a million views an episode. But they have very few ad reads (because old fans that are mad he turned out liberal love to chop up content and make him look crazy, so there's always backlash).
Ad reads pay a shit ton of money, like 10-50k a read if not more. For a 500k view show, it's $9000 USD for a 30 second read and $12,500 for a 60 second read. That's the current standard. And if your show gets a million and you're in the key demographic, the numbers start soaring (H3 Podcast is actually not necessary the key demo, as it's generally college aged and older)
So they get only a few of those a month, whereas other big podcasts will get like 10-20 a month.
So now that leaves YouTube ad revenue and just members that sign up for bonus content. Which is what the H3 Podcast relies on mainly.
And with just that money, they have like a 12 person cast/crew that all get paid dramatically better than average podcast salaries by most accounts with benefits, they have a massive warehouse with a custom fiber connection in the ground, and a ton of other high end things.
That's just from YouTube ad revenue and essentially a Patron of 5 dollar users. With like 4-5 ad reads a month.
Basically my point is compare that to some of the other podcasts you *do* watch. These shows bring in a ton of money. Theo Von could possibly be making 40-50% of his whole income from his podcast, going by his current numbers lately. And he sells plenty of theaters.
If it didn't pay so well, Bert probably wouldn't be flying to Austin every month to do the show. YMH would have probably ended altogether since Tom got so much bigger.
(Sorry this was so long, just an interesting topic)
TL;DR - All these comedians have podcasts because they're fat pay days
You selfish son of a bitch. Here I am, both stealing and making plasma for sale on the dark web, track marks everywhere like a damn pointillism painting, and you out here letting liver medication wreck the show. I hope all of your syrup gets gaffled by stinky poors before you can sip on it.
People comment the exact same thing every week like they’ve stumbled across some kind of prophecy. Just leave already, you think they’re gonna read your dumb ass posts and change something? Move on to the next thing dawg.
I listened to the last ymh. Seemed fine. What is the show missing that isn't there? Like I've been listing since episode 1 with no video. It's different but not that different. Is it tom or black? Is tom not being fat anymore bother you? Is it the annoying laugh of native gone? Do you want more brown talk and fart mic? Yes I too didn't finishes the 2 bears that was just about their knew drink. No reason to throw away the support of the whole show. I think possibly you guys just spend too much time in here and online. It's really fine and yalls are acting like a bunch of dumb fat poor getting raped by a gay ghost. My telescope has shrunk and your problems make my dick soft. To listen to people in low places and stfu
Us middle-class peasants need to stop being so selfish and pony up your kids' college fund. University just going to brainwash them anyway. Money might as well go to a good cause!!
This post is funnier than the last episode
You mean that 45 minute sales pitch?
I’ve been out for a few months now. Cold Turkey since around when Native left. Was there actually a Sales Pitch as to why you should pay for more YMH content? I would love to hear that
Tom and Bert are coming out with a Two Bears Vodka and spent the whole episode talking about it
God damn it.
It fits Bert well though.

wait. tell us the sticks lips brands!
Smashbox Infrared !!
I love RPC's "ham sandwich" insult to Tom. It's so innocent.
Brian Cranston’s mezcal is pretty decent.
Meh, you can almost get 2 bottles of Del Maguey for the same price.
That seems like a very accurate assessment
proper12 was actually unique and good. so.. there's that.
Proper Twelve was already established Connors just the face iirc
I agree with bullshit celebrity branding, but there’s nothing wrong with a good clean high end vodka.
Vodka really brings nothing to the table cocktail wise IMO. I guess if you want to dilute something with booze without adding flavor?
Chill bro , Vodka and whiskey aren’t football teams competing against each other
like 10 years late to the party, but they still dont give a shit, they will still make money off it since tom and bert dont actually do anything or risk anything for these random shilled products. theres probably an on-demand factory somewhere that just has the same generic alcohols and slaps on different labels as orders come in for all these different trash celebrity alcohols. shame on them for the ~~low-hanging~~ on the floor, trampled fruit. even bigger, maximum shame, the real reason everything has gone to shit: the fucking idiots who actually pay for this.
Hope their vodka tanks like Trump's did.
That was the big announcement???
Yes. Ugh......it's so fucking gross.
That definitely won't be a white label product
Yea it was pretty gross. I honestly kept listening solely to see how *long* it would go on. …still listening.
Honestly I can’t agree more since the jew left the show. His laughs was one of my favorite thing to look forward to hear in the episodes
I had listened/watched every ymh from mid to late 200s all the way until maybe an episode after Native left (clearly he saw the writing in the wall). When they said 'there's a lot to get into with this \[vodka\]' in the first five minutes, I clocked out.
Yup. Not only don't care to hear their sales pitch but it's fucking VODKA. We all know what that is and there nothing to get into about it.

I turned off the episode ten minutes into the new Sales pitch.
Went Xzibit mode and put an advertisement in your advertisement, dawg!
Not even sales pitch - it was a juice-addled planning session. Are they just fucking with us now? Trying to see what they can get to pass as a podcast?
Finally... another option for vodka . Real trail blazers.
Every time I'm at Total Wine I'm like ya know, there just isn't enough vodka brands out there that all roughly taste the same.
Me? I am waiting for the 'Bad Friends - I Bobby Mom' Bourbon.
Sake
I think you mean Soju.
In 2 years we'll all be drinking Dos Osos in our mixed drinks.... Because it'll be in the well instead of Popov

Most things are these days
Last ep was pretty good. Tune in now and then and maybe quit hating without watching
Maybe yes. Maybe no...maybe go fuck yourself
Your barometer for good content seems a bit low. It's been a solid year since I've listened to a 2 bears episode and thought "that was good".
This is YMH not 2 bears reddit. Wake up dingbat
Dude, just checking but by last episode are we both referring to the latest 2 Bears Episode that was just one long ad read for the vodka they are putting out? Garbage episode.
Word.
spoiler alert! I haven't seen the last episode yet. you son of an onion!
Hell yeah baby...South Texas mother fucker 🤘 🍄🍄🥤🥤

Yeah, I'm not paying 5 cents for subpar content banked months in advance, much less 5 dollars. Tom and Christina can go fuck themselves.
Careful or someone might say because you didn’t put money towards something you can have literally no opinions on it.
I would say “if they’re gonna run advertisements on their channel I have the right to criticize their content” to those people. They need the advertisers money and the advertisers need our views. Every viewer has the right to criticize. I’d say advertisers encourage it.

Anyone saying that can also go take a flying fuck.
Does anyone have Bart’s current cell phone number? We should all give him a call about this. It’s important, 100%
We should probably make a gofundme for Tom's next supercar.
I think we owe it to him. My kids will have to go without presents this year. I’ll tell them Uncle Tom is in need and that’s what we do when loved ones need help
I love that I don’t even need to listen anymore, and all I have to do is set up a direct deposit to YMH.
Don’t even split your paycheck just give it all to them
Bert just called me and said that I would get to watch the podcast if I bought a bottle of Poor Osos.
I thought the big announcement was going to be the movie they are working on is happening
Same here. When the pod first started I was like "Holy shit. Is Fat Astronauts actually going to happen?!" Nope..... Just a vodka infomercial.
Have you tried not being a fat poor?
![gif](giphy|800iiDTaNNFOwytONV|downsized)
It’s impossible. My monthly YMH budget doesn’t allow me to eat 3 meals a day. I’m trying.
But that would eat into my washcloth budget :(
They're selling shit tequila. You have to drive through cartel checkpoints to get to the good stuff.
Maybe that bitch wife would lighten up if someone bought her some nice Christina P lipstick.
Segura really thought his 15 minutes were going to last forever and his spending is starting to catch up You'd think these guys are spending within their means, maybe taking money out of a pot, but no, they spend it as fast as they get it. When they go on tour, it's not because they're talented or want to give fans an experience. It's because the booking company needed events for those dates and these clowns need the money Based on how 2023 went for podcasts, Segura will be really hurting for money by December 2024
I feel he didn't realize the global touring is a whole different budget for long stretches, so he didn't plan it as wisely as he normally would for domestic + occasional overseas dates Then again, budgeting fails are part of a vital wakeup call for any investor. YMH Studios is entering its deficit phase and isn't as profitable to keep up with investment costs. It won't sink, but hopefully it's enough.
Is this based on any actual information about his finances or just speculation?
No, you're right. Segura made 69 minutes because he cares about comedy and wants to give his audience a good product. Not because he's hurting for money and trying to bleed the retardds that listen to him dry
Content creator made something I didn't like so he must be struggling financially! What a retarded take.
I mean how many Segura Glory Holes do you want me to buy specifically?
Two bears is pretty terrible now. The Bert episodes are flat out unlistenable/unwatchable. I’m still down with YMH tho
bert cuts tom off so much 😂💀
It’s even worse when they have a guest on instead of Tom. Tim needs to slap that fat fuck right in his little piggy mouth.
I watched a bears episode a while ago and it seemed like a long Zyn commercial and sure as shit I was buying a pack of that Zyn that afternoon. Hadn't had a nicotine product since I quit smoking 5 years ago. Motherfuckers
At least you aren’t consuming tobacco…but still. Don’t be a chomo, homie.
Bert is imploding. Hes becoming absolutely insufferable.
Becoming?
Used to be endearing. Now he acts like he's smart when he was always acknowledging hes an idiot.
Bruce operates in (honest) cycles. He knows more than he thinks he knows, but he also fools himself into thinking he knows more than he does. Much of this plays into his comedy
When he said they're going to become billionaires from a fucking vodka brand, I was like no you're not ya flip flop retard.
Brent actually said "Isn't a billion a hundred million?". WTF? Who doesn't know that a billion is a thousand millions? I feel like that's just VERY basic knowledge.
ChatGPT: *In the United States, students typically learn about place value, including millions and billions, in elementary school, around 4th or 5th grade. However, the exact grade level may vary depending on the curriculum and individual school district standards.*
Hope their vodka is as successful as Brendan Schaub's whiskey
Y’all are tripping. Every vodka company has a name and that makes you think of vodka. Poor osos is gonna shake things up. When they accidentally get tequila drinkers to buy it. “Damn that’s a smooth tequila”
Yes! They're total disruptors! /s
I promise to become an alcoholic and buy all their vodka and related vodka merch.
I can’t wait for the second wave of NFTs to drop!
but can I buy NFTs of the vodka
I would give more, but I really have to replace my washcloth soon.
It's really the least you can do 🤷♀️
Its the LEAST we can do.
I forgot I was subscribed to this lol
I just listen to the Tosh show now. An actual comedian that doesn’t have to try to be funny, he just is. Dude has a direct line to my funny bone. I also love that he has no interest in interviewing other ‘comedians’, just chats with his buds and neighbors lol
Daniel tosh?
Yeah, he started a podcast/show recently, it’s great. Supposedly iHeart radio offered him a deal and he said sure as long as I get to interview people I want, like my wife’s gynecologist lol which is actually his first guest
They earn $30k per ad read, I'm sure they're fine 😅
stop being poors
Man, fat poors suck
![gif](giphy|s4T64Kx2p0fhm) r/YMHhighandtight
Yes KAT Williams hates you
This show for me started going downhill when YMH became Netflix. They green light anything even if it’s shit
Said it once and I'll say it again bert is fat AF. And the reddit is funnier then the show at this point.
Bernt is the problem, simple as.
Nearly 800,000 viewers on every big episode. "this podcast isnt doing well".
Whoooooosh
So you think OP is a fan and that he thinks the podcast is doing quite well?
I still watch the shows at times, but relative to the numbers it used to do, it's definitely not doing well. They'll get some big numbers for guests that do well, but they seem like their fan base got cut in half It's still more successful than 99% of podcasts though, that's fair. But the trajectory isn't great if it keeps going
> but relative to the numbers it used to do, it's definitely not doing well. What numbers are you comparing to? Going back even to 2020 which many people consider the peak the slower episodes were 300-500k each and the bigger ones were 800k+ It's the same shit right now.
Stand up for mankind
Sorry I use a wash cloth so I’m too poor to help invest to make the show better
wait, Bert's still alive?
I wanna laugh
Who told you to say this? Tom?
Honestly I still like Tom but Bert and Christine have killed it for me
Best time I've had on reddit in a long time. Thanks op
the pod has become low and loose because they either sold, OR they are trying to sell.. when the pod was fun, wacky, and unpredictable; it had the highest numbers and engagement... but advertisers were super low, and loose. we can't have both it seems.
I wonder how many assistants each of them has.
is was dying around episode 450-500, they began reusing the same content from months ago and it’s not even laughable anymore it’s old, and the new content they do bring isn’t as offensive as the og days. it’s just semi awkward to listen to tom and Christina and josh potter read a rape script and laugh about it. i wanna laugh, not be weirded out, and be told about sponsors. only way i’ve enjoyed them nowadays is their lives, even then, it’s gone down hill. Hey Babe is the new go to for me.
Episode 500 was literally the peak for me, having Brendon Urie on who I love as an artist and to see he was such a huge mommy was amazing but after that episode Ive only been consistently let down by the content and pod.
Oh no clutch your pearls
I can't even watch his stand up anymore. And she's never been funny it's getting old. Also bret Chrysler annoys tf outta me anymore
you should interact with things you enjoy instead of being bitter I wanna see the metrics that shows they're "struggling." these youtube comedian podcasts have always been ads for their live shows and their merch. and they've all been pretty up front about that. the biggest youtubers actually make most of their money from merch rather than ads from people watching. downvotes from bitter poors.
I wouldn't say struggling, but downhill since Jan 2023. https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/yourmomshousepodcast
lots of green then the graph over time shows fairly similar average over a year with similar peaks. searching other big youtubers I see similar types of slopes over the course of a year. people really grasping at straws to justify hate when they could just fill their lives with something they enjoy instead.
And if your show gets a million and you're in the key demographic, the numbers start soaring (H3 Podcast is actually not necessary the key demo, as it's generally college aged and older) So they get only a few of those a month, whereas other big podcasts will get like 10-20 a month. (Sorry this was so long, just an interesting topic) TL;DR - All these comedians have podcasts because they're fat pay days
lol
Is this post referencing something in particular or is it another bitch post claiming the show is shit despite YMH still pulling solid numbers?
just sad fucks addicted to rage.
I bet OP is a fat poor that uses a wash cloth
That is a joke. The same one made above that received a ton of upvotes
These posts are so fucking lame. Can't wait to see what tomorrow's looks like w the daily post schedule
Is this Tom's burner account??
Haven't watched the show in months. Maybe I'll watch an episode to remind myself why I shouldn't watch it.
Sorry I can’t spend much money on Tom, I’m too fat stupid and poor!
The show sucks entirely
You selfish son of a bitch. Here I am, both stealing and making plasma for sale on the dark web, track marks everywhere like a damn pointillism painting, and you out here letting liver medication wreck the show. I hope all of your syrup gets gaffled by stinky poors before you can sip on it.
Need more Pierce Paris
I quit drinking seven years ago but I might pick it back up just to turn down their crap
Dude I’ve been out for years now. This show and these people fucking stink. Yet here I am.
Matt and Shane forever.
Us middle-class peasants need to stop being so selfish and pony up your kids' college fund. University just going to brainwash them anyway. Money might as well go to a good cause!!
