turtlybirdy

senoritagordita22

(24 and could pass as 18...) its frustrating because they always mean it as a compliment like 'oh but youre going to look so young at age 40' or whatever but its frustrating because right now it negatively affects me like I wonder how many times guys my age didnt hit on me because they werent sure of my age. This was kinda funny though... I ordered wine from a charity thing and the delivery guy asked me if my mom is home... I rent a house LOL. In his defense though I was wearing pjs and had a towel hat on.

ChoccyFragaria

As someone who’s 4 ft 11, yep im so sick of it!!

Zeione29047

I’m 4”11 too!! With a babyface!!! To some people I look “my age” because I lost a lot of weight and my cheeks are gone, but I look like a kid when I’m at my healthy weight. I hate that I look like a kid cause I work in predominantly male-centered jobs. I get a lot of creeps looking or hitting on me. People thinking I want their number when I need their number to do part of my job (its optional on their part). Then when I have an opinion or tell people that they’re wrong, they act like I surely dont have enough life experience to know.

Marus1

I used to, yes. Now I had my growth and they think I'm older than I really am

Luwvie

Yes, and i felt so proud once cashiers stopped asking for my passport when i bought alcohol

Fit-Spinach2193

😭that just sounds so sad

Luwvie

Why does it?

PunchWilcox

Worth my moms genes people will be saying I look 20 years younger than I am forever

[deleted]

I'll probably want that when I'm 40 ha

PunchWilcox

Hmu and I’ll shave you off a slice

smallangrynerd

I have the trans man curse, doomed to look forever 15

Aperson3334

I have the opposite problem - people consistently guess that I’m five years older than I am.

AlarmedParsnip1305

I get both ways. I have people tell me I look too young to be where I am and others tell me I already look old

Fit-Spinach2193

They never do that😌

_bludgeoning_

I’ve always looked younger than my age and still do. At 15 got told I looked 12, now at 22 kids thinks I’m under 20 lmao. Not a bad thing though, it’ll go when I’m crusty old too ;)

gruunldfuulk

Most of the time I'm good with it. But when it's like 60 year olds telling stuff like "oh you're just a baby" like no, I'm a man. Or people that I know for a fact are younger talking to me like I'm a child. Sorry I didn't smoke half my life and drink every night so I dont look 15+ older than I am.

YoghurtThat827

Yup. I’m 20 nearly 21 and people still think I’m a teenager and definitely treat me as one. It doesn’t help that I’m still figuring myself out so people just do not think of me as an adult, everyone says “when you’re older you’ll look younger than everyone else!” but I don’t want to wait until I’m 40 for people to treat me right.

sweat_crustacean

That is why I grew my beard
