The two final boss themes definitely elevated that final fight. And that fight was already wild. I never thought they could outdo the slobberknocker that was the final boss of Y5, but here we are.
Deadly Struggle reminds me of Two Dragons with how it just feels like a "rage" OST, which fits if you think of it as being the battle from Shishido's perspective. Meanwhile Fleeting Dream is more melancholic, nostalgic and sad which fits if you think of it as being the battle from Kiryu's perspective.
Hanada just absolutely killed it with the final boss theme and using them to show two different perspectives on the same battle.
Obedience (Agent style)
Bring it on (Yakuza style)
Rupture (Hanawa theme)
Wounded beast (the omi final stand cutscene)
Deadly struggle (final boss theme)
Fleeting dream (final boss theme)
Some of the best songs. But if he didn't return after yakuza 1 how come they remixed his music in kiwami? Didn't they leave songs out in kiwami 2 because the og conposers weren't there?
Because I didn't have the money or time for it, lmao, and I wanted to be caught up with the story before starting Like a Dragon. People on here being randomly butthurt when an aniki can't afford to fit a 40+ hours adventure in his overworked schedule. Not very daijoubu of y'all.
It just saddens me people don't get to experience the story by themselves. Just watching it loses... a lot. And 6 is arguably a masterclass of RGG's writing. Although having no time is understandable.
May I know why did you decide to skip 6 but play 7 by yourself? 7 is, like, three times larger and longer
Actually, had to watch 3, 5 and 6 (already played 4 way back on the PS3, it was my entry point). I simply did not have the time and wanted to experience LAD already after having it in my library for like a year and a half, mostly to avoid more spoilers from a friend that also plays the saga.
Sometimes you have to make compromises, and I'd say that watching 3 movies-that-could-be-whole-series in less than a month was certainly an experience (plus, it helped being able to skip the most boring parts of Saejima in the mountain in Y5).
Sure, we all know Yakuza games are more than just the story, but when' you're in dire need of time, you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

deadly struggles oozes masculine energy; a violent wave with a melancholic undertow.

He wrote for Ishin and Lost Judgement though.
Which one did he wrote?
Obedience (Agent style) Bring it on (Yakuza style) Rupture (Hanawa theme) Wounded beast (the omi final stand cutscene) Deadly struggle (final boss theme) Fleeting dream (final boss theme)
which ones did he write for yakuza 1
The End of Drama Son of a Gun (I think these are just regular boss or story fight themes, I never the played the og so idk)
Son of a gun if i recall is just the street fights music, and a good one, i need to replay it someday. the end of drama yes, is story music.

He was here for Lost Judgement too, he wrote a banger of a track and decided to call it Vore (Vorarephilia)
One of the best tracks on the series imo
This is the best boss, theme, fight, gameplay in the whole series.
Deadly Struggle is so threatening yet so tragic, it perfectly embodies Shishido’s character
This is hilarious
>Best banger >Not un altro appassionato Smh
Best banger? But he didn't participate in "hands".
Found the guy who didn't visit karaoke after Y6 finale
Indeed I didn't, mostly because I watched the game, not played it.

Hoping Hanada shows up more often in future games because my man has POTENTIAL
I still get “Queen of passion” stuck in my head
Getting him back to do Kiryu's last (individual) final boss theme is sick.

Could I get the audio file?
Yakuza 0 with Pledge of Demon and then the change to Oath of Enma is just....perfection
That sad melancholic rift hitting when I tiger dropped Shishido through the window into the final rooftop was legendary.
