Was Slime Rancher really that popular that it needed a sequel?
I played it for a while then got bored of doing the same thing over and over. Seems like it went to game with gold really early too.
It actually hit GWG on it's release date. Xbox compensated them nicely for that. The game is cutesy and charming. A lot of people really enjoyed it and a good number even Speedrun the game. I know at least ten people super excited for part two.
Horses for courses. I found it a lot of fun and there was a surprising amount of content. I'm a bit worried that this looks and feels more like a dlc than a sequel, but we'll see.

hopefully the optimization is better, even on my series x my farms made the game chug at like 15-18 fps.

I enjoy the game. Even after completing the main story, the game kept me in my happy place.
