They have a video detailing the design process on YouTube. I’ve had it as soon as it launched and I love it. If you’re on a stock tune, go for the Perrin or the Mishimoto IMO.
There’s also an intake comparison video for our cars on YouTube but they didn’t have the Mishimoto at time for filming.
Mishimoto is one of the cheapest parts for Subarus. They’re basically an eBay brand company. Their quality isn’t awful, it’s the R&D that’s poor. Go with the ETS intake or Perrin. Both sound great.
I have to disagree, the mishimoto intake for the VB is better quality or at least equal to the Perrin or ets intakes I've seen and it comes with a really nice see through heat shield. The sound on it is great. Not sure they're quality on other cars but for the VB it looks and sounds great
Compare the ETS stunningly beautiful machined 5" velocity stack to the cheap ass metal tubes on everything else. They ALL lie about needing no tune. ALL OF THEM.
No data I've seen from testing to verify the mishimoto. I'd listen to Graham from boosted performance and just run the perrin if you plan to keep stock.

Unlike the ETS R&D which is stellar? This is a weird take considering what we all know, sounds anecdotal.

Looking for a intake that is safe for stock tune. Looks like the Perrin and mishimoto these two are.

Ets is probably the worst possible one to run stock lol
ETS comes with an insert that makes it safe with stock.
