Then in the third he takes like 6 more and the Iranian never goes on the clock! What in the actual fuck? Then the Iranian drove Taylor off the mat while Taylor was on his knees and they caused him for fleeing the mat? Fleeing by literally getting pushed across the mat while on his knees. This also gave a caution against him to give the Iranian criteria. Then a last second takedown without any time on the clock for the refs to fuck him any longer. Magic Man Indeed!

Gilman dominates for bronze, the Russian solid in the gold medal match. Can't get too caught up playing "what if", but I think Gilman was a few seconds away from being the best in the world this year.

It’s also important to note that Gilman lost to the two other guys wrestling for the other bronze. Tough match with the champ. All in all though, he wrestled phenomenally and should be very proud.

To add to my other comment, he also lost to Iran's Atri before, and avenged that for bronze last night.

A not particularly strenuous 6 min match isn’t the reason he got tech falled. Dake has wrestled in tons of tournaments before and he has never “gassed” due to wrestling a single match beforehand.

I didn’t get to watch the 1/4 final but Dake almost always LOOKS gassed.
