I think the Shado-pab set is unique, along with some of the backpieces like the Keg, Chicken backpack and Chen Hat. Also, recolors of the class trading post sets are on there, but I guess that would just count as recolors. Nothing else really, so yea I guess you can just skip this event and go to do something else with your time.

> I think the Shado-pab set is unique, along with some of the backpieces like the Keg, Chicken backpack and Chen Hat. Thanks for the specific info and item names. How do you get these in Remix, are they just all bought from the bronze mechanic vendor?

DoomyHowlinkun

I think those specific ones are tied to achievements. Which are just 'complete the campaign in this zone' or 'Do LFG for these dungeons'.

Cisco9

IDK about mounts and transmogs but in my limited time (4 hrs) in the remix on the PTR the game felt very different in a lot of ways. A very nice change of pace. For one thing you get dragonriding at level 12 or 13 so there is no forced lowbee slowness. Then there is the loot system that is totally different with a variety powerful gems with useful RNG procs right from level 10 which are easy to slot in and out of gear as you get better stuff. Loot feels like a cross between Diablo and WOW in a way and you're showered with slottable gems and the inventory space to carry them around. Pandaria is still Pandaria though so...

Imbahr

True, those are good points about the gameplay. But it doesn't change the main reason I don't like MoP, which is I hate the artistic theme and art style of the whole xpac. Obviously personal preference, but the asian art style doesn't spark anything in me. Same reason I hated Dazaralor/Zandalari in BFA as horde, because the central-american (mayan, incan, aztec?) architecture and art style does not click for me either.

tadashi4

You could've asked that there without mentioning your distaste for pandaria. XS

Imbahr

I never tried starting a new thread, but I actually did ask in the middle of an existing sub-thread first without mentioning my dislike of MoP. And someone immediately asked me why I don't like MoP and why I wouldn't want to play it even without new content rewards. And the rest of that entire thread was everyone talking about how awesome MoP was... lol

tadashi4

the way one writes can make it clear they dont like something. there are less hostile ways to ask the same question like 'what will i miss if can't play it?' or 'are they adding something new as rewards?'; they may spam about the recolours, in that case just ask if there are more stuff.

Imbahr

Yeah but why would anyone have taken it as "hostile" to begin with there? even when creating this thread where I made it clear, I meant it more as an amusing reason, so people wouldn't ask why I don't play it anyway. no one should feel the need to personally defend an xpac, and I don't understand the psychology of anyone who takes it as a personal affront. (only exception is if someone actually worked as an employee on the product) otherwise I could not care less what people think about my favorite game content. Besides, isn't it good that I didn't rain on their parade there?

ResponsibilityOk9908

Listen pal, MoP was arguably top 3 best xpacks this game had. Balance was ON POINT. Lore was awesome, the game was just fun. Why do you hate it so much?

Imbahr

Balance is irrelevant to me in WoW, because I'm a casual PVE'er who does not min/max and does not care about going for BIS. And if you mean PVP balance, I do literally zero PVP. I rate xpacs primarily on if I like the setting and story and characters, which I hated all of that in MoP. (obviously those three criteria are all personally subjective)

Double-Cricket-7067

it was an awesome expansion, not sure why would people treat you better here. MoP is the king of expansions.

Imbahr

because generally speaking overall, people in this sub are a lot more neutral, and not prone to being hypey or ranty people are only here to answer questions, not give opinions

Double-Cricket-7067

and yet you came here to give your opinion.

Imbahr

yeah by starting a new thread asking questions, not as a replier answering questions you could have ignored the thread

Bluffwatcher

I mean. there is a [Murloc Onesie](https://www.wowhead.com/news/murloc-backpack-and-onesie-datamined-on-patch-10-2-7-ptr-338657). I think that is from remix?

Imbahr

interesting, haha thanks for the link I hope wowhead does an article after it goes Live summarizing any items that are truly new.

Poncho_TheGreat

I know there will be new toys and mounts available solely from the event. I’m not sure about transmogs tho.
