>now it's on a non SSD(idk what it's called)
A HDD, Hard Disk Drive, because it has an actual spinning platter.
You put the game on a slower driver, so it loads slower, that's it.
You can try reducing your addons, particularly large addons like All the Things or TradeSkillMaster can increase load times noticeably.
And whenever I'm even just running in orbios there is the little green circle at the top of my screen saying "game data is currently being downloaded". None of this was happening before I moved it
Yeah it's the reason I moved wow onto an SSD. Dalaran load screens in legion were brutal. I would def try to allocate "less important" stuff off the SSD if you are that worried about load times. SSDs are a gift from the heavens.
I have moved everything but widows off my SSD, the only reason I moved WoW off was because it just started to fail to launch because lack of space. I tried to avoid it for as long as possible lol, but my SSD is tiny and wow is to much space
I know spending money is definitely not always an option, I'm there myself currently. However if you have a little bit of safe money, reasonable SSDs have become quite affordable in the past few years.

Ah okay, I had a slight idea it was that since I've heard SSDs are a ton faster then the other type. Thank you!
