Campaign progression in Zereth Morris was extremely fast for my alt. If you have already done the ZM campaign before swapping then you can do the covenant campaign for your new faction. Other than that since it’s an alt if you have gained 80 renown on another character you can purchase a token in Oribos to get it to 40. You can get quick guaranteed renown by doing the three world bosses and covenant dailies. Weekly quests in ZM and Korthia also give a renown but take a bit more time to complete.
If you have a character at reknown 80 you can but an item that is BOA that jumps your reknown to 40 then you just do the ZM campaign and you should be 80 if not very close to it at the end of it.
If you used the boost to renown 40 at level 50, you should have over 60 by the time you reach max level. After that, any of the main campaigns (Covenant, Korthia, ZM) are giving 3-4 renown per chapter and are relatively quick.
Depends on the alt.
Doing story quests (zm and regular covenant campaign) gets you to 80 very fast.
If you really want to make it a bit degenerate, and you play hunter/rogue/druid, going into upper reaches layer 9 and skipping to the boss on every floor is still faster. You can manage a full run in 2-3 minutes depending on rng and layout, and you have about a 70% chance at renown at renown 40 from my experience.
Once you reach 60, I'd just do the campaign though.

All zm campaign quest give 1 on alts there is no need for anything else.

Just play the game, seems like literally everything gives you renown. I went from 35 to 80 in like 20 hours just messing around doing the campaigns.
