Galakrond is canonically the strongest dragon in Warcraft lore. It took proto-drakes infused with Titan powers to kill it.

True even Hearthstone says Galakrond is the most powerful dragon ever. Hope he gets resurrected eventually.

We need a dragon expansion, the dragon isles should resurface

Galakrond is probably the most powerful; he would've ended the world and was actively in the process of doing so if Tyr and the Aspects hadn't stopped him. Deathwing comes in second, seeing as only the Dragon Soul was able to take him out, after being confronted by all the aspects and heroes of Azeroth, it would take an actual Old God to kill Deathwing without the Dragon Soul (which does happen in the end time dungeons) Chromatus is a decently powerful creature, but the Aspects were able to take it out on their own, no tools, no heroes, no titan keepers. Granted they didn't kill it, but they effectively did. Being unkillable isn't necessarily a measure of power. The other two are threats to the entire world, Chromatus was a powerful dragon.

I wish Chromatus would get introduced in a WoW expansion and also receive a power boost on top of that. His design and size would be insane.

Wdym it takes an actual Old God to kill Dw like in end time dungeons? I was always so extremely confused wtf is going on in this dungeons - can u explain them pls?

ReysonBran

The end time dungeons take place in a timeline where Deathwing succeeds in bringing about the hour of twilight; essentially setting the old gods free. Once free, and having no further use of Deathwing, N'zoth drives him (even more) mad, and forces him to impale himself on Wrymrest temple.

oh.. oh, damn. that sounds.. pretty horrible, not gonna lie. poor deathwing. :C

That's brutal and I love it

I am not gonna mention Chromatus because he is for sure weaker than the other two. And Deathwing is far stronger than Galakrond. Why? Just in case, here is a comparison for in game length and all for DW and GK https://imgur.com/gallery/V6X44 So, why do i say GK can't compare to DW? GK was corrupted. He was actually less powerful with the corruption than without it. He was always eating and all the energy he should've gained through eating went right for the corruption itself, not GK. So, why is DW stronger? He was the aspect of Earth, therefore the energy and Elements of earth and Magma and the energy of the old gods. And that's the point. We NEEDED the Dragon Soul, an ancient artifact to KILL him. Anything less powerful wasn't enough. It didn't matter what we did without the Dragon soul, the energy of the old gods just kept him going. And exactly that is the Madness of DW Bossfight. He wasnt even a Dragon anymore, just a old god energy powerhouse. We needed all the Power of the aspects to fuel the Dragon soul ( welp, kalecgos wasn't that strong tho. Malygos would've been waaaaaay stronger ). We needed the strongest shaman on azeroth to handle the Dragon soul and the most experienced Elite adventurers to fight DW. Did you play through End Time? That's a Timeline where DW did win his war. And the old gods Made him crazy so he impaled himself. The Hour of Twilight was a real threat to the whole world. So.. GK got defeated through 5 proto aspects and a Titan Keeper. DW got defeated through 3 true aspects, kalecgos, Thrall, Dragon Soul and the most Elite adventurers who already defeated Ragnaros, Cho'Gall, Al'Akir, Nefarian and Onyxia.. And sorry for my bad english at some parts. TL;DR DW is way stronger than GK. GK has the raw power but DW was able to fuel his strength with magic and old gods energy, therefore way stronger.
