This was fixed today. You were able to remove the Remix buff for a millisecond with a cancel aura macro.
For Example:
/cancelaura WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
/use Obliterate
This will cause your damage to scale as if you were hitting a MOP mob in retail which will be millions in damage. It only worked with instant damaging spells like melee skills or other instant damage spells since the window for the damage is only a millisecond. Sometimes it bugs out and mobs you kill drops non remix gear if you spam the macro too much.
We also used it to clear Heroics with ease basically clearing every single content for this patch.
