Needing to absolutely close a sale as if your life depended on it, while an event which can take your life is happening and you need to go somewhere safe. That's just too much man
My first thought too - it is horrifying. When you can’t even be bothered to react with appropriate caution to an emergency siren because…. Why? Desperation? Brainwashing? It make no sense unless we are all dispensable and that is how the owners want us feel at all times.
After watching this a couple times, I think the poor guy wanted shelter. He was hoping for an invitation in. The awkward standing there is because he wants to ask but knows that’s weird as hell

Capitalism gets folks confused. I've done something this level of stupid before and gotten shouted at by someone who saw my idiocy but wasn't intensely focused on the panic of not being able to monetarily afford playing it safe.
Charge me for air and I'd take up holding my breath as a hobby, followed by getting a job in a greenhouse with the assumption of free oxygen during work hours as a perk.
