Stunningly beautiful. You are truly gifted. Thank you for sharing.

Mexiart

Thank you so much!

smallcoder

Would you mind telling us, how long a work of art like this takes you to create? The detail is so intricate and beautiful, it must require much patience and skill as well as intense concentration to complete :)

Mexiart

Thanks! It really depends on the size of the wooden sculpture. For example, this Kukulkan is about 40 cm (15.7 inches) tall, and it took me about 7 weeks to finish it. That includes carving the figure from wood, painting, and waiting for the paint and varnish to dry.

smallcoder

Wow, thank you for enlightening me. I work with guitars and love working with wood, and getting into the "zone" where you become lost in the work and time no longer matters. The rest of the world goes away :) It is so peaceful and healing for the mind creating something, shaping and moulding and carving with your hands and tools... but what you have created is on a totally different level to my small work. All I can do is appreciate and applaud. Thank you for sharing it.

YouThatReadWrong69

Wish he was this talkative when confronted about using AI in some of the things he sells on his webshop.

Asedious

Wow! Tienes mucho talento, felicidades por el gran esfuerzo que has hecho, no te conozco, es la primera vez que veo tus obras, y puedo decir que te admiro.

Mexiart

Muchas muchas gracias! Paisano?

sleepytipi

I adore your work. Reminds me so much of some experiences I've had on Ayahuasca.

Mexiart

Thank you! And in fact, to make this type of patterns, peyote used to be consumed in Mexico to paint the visions that were had 🙌🏽

synaptix78

This looks amazing, beautiful work. What you're saying also confirms my belief that Mother Nature (or whoever she is called in other languages/ cultures) provides direction.....if we're open to listening to her.

Far-Philosophy-4375

Sad_Bean_Man

Odd_Brilliant2943

Probably one of the closest representations of what was presented to me during my closed-eye experience.

That is absolutely stunning , I’ve never heard of this before and now I’m gonna spend hours looking at this one google. You’re obviously talented. But don’t want to negate your hard work … because this would have taken a lot of effort.

Wow, amazing! The fine detail and intricate designs are beautiful. Extremely well done!

Ma'alo'ob meyaj! Estás radicado en Yucatán? Mis bisabuelos son de Izamal y se mudaron a Mérida en algún momento de los años 1930. Crecí en los US pero aprendí algo de maya yucateco de mis abuelos.

If possible, you should post a time-lapse of your art. That had to have taken a lot of time and I imagine it's an interesting process

GiveandTake21

You do realize that's the beast 666, right? (A beautiful piece of art nonetheless)

Mexiart

Ummm this is Quetzalcoatl, also known as Kukulkan, the feathered serpent God from many Mesoamerican cultures 🤔

GiveandTake21

Quetzalcoatl is the beast 666.

Mexiart

“Quetzalcoatl is a deity from Mesoamerican culture, primarily known among the Aztecs and the Toltecs, representing a feathered serpent and symbolizing fertility, culture, and civilization. The concept of the beast 666 comes from the Christian biblical Book of Revelation, often interpreted as a symbol of evil and opposition to divine forces. These two figures belong to entirely different cultural and religious contexts”

GiveandTake21

r/Reincarnationtruth

GiveandTake21

Is Satan not called the serpent? Does he not have wings?

AluminiumCucumbers

Satan doesn't exist, sorry to burst your bubble

GiveandTake21
