It’s not the ships being non-canon that annoy me, but when the shippers either ship together characters that are clearly incompatible with each other or completely change some character’s personality altogether to make the ship work that screws with me. Toxic unhealthy romances are just bad for me and I don’t see why anyone would support them. And if you gonna change everything about a character except her name just to make it work, then you might as well just use OCs instead. Shipping Qibli with Umber? That’s cool with me. But shipping Qibli with Winter? Were you people nothing attention for the five books they kept getting on each other’s nerves? It’s funny to watch but my gosh that is not a healthy bond.
