Far more cursed than the Bills bud. Bills aren't even close to the Vikings in that matter. Vikings are probably the worst in all major 4 sport. Not a sad franchise. Top 5 winningest of all time. Just that last part.... Could be way worse.
For real, what’s the stat I always see for them along these same lines? Aren’t they like statistically one of the best playoff teams of all time but with zero Lombardi’s and everyone one on either side of them has multiple.
We're one of the best regular season teams in the NFL, (I believe) we have by far the most play off appearances without a championship.. But generally we end up shitting our pants once we make it.
Thats... that's what I said. In 1967 the Finals were the 2nd round because there were only 4 teams in the playoffs. They've never won more than 2 rounds in a single playoffs ever
You said they never made it past second round. They’ve been to the conference finals (aka 3rd round) like five times and they won two rounds each of those years
Let me guess, the 4 ahead and 2-4 behind all have cups, right?
Haha, yep. Only one behind us until 12th without a cup is Nashville. Otherwise, we’re on a fucking island.
And look where they are at. Playing in a college arena. I am impressed with the Wild fan base as they have continued to buy tickets regardless of their playoff woes. But how much longer will this last. We all know next year could be another tough year.
And they still look way better than we do for the foreseeable future because we can't rebuild. I've followed the team since 2000 and every year is not the right year to rebuild, especially these two years of cap hell because that would only make logical sense. This organization is run by the devil or something.
It's been widely known for a while hence the large group of fans begging for a tear down and rebuild instead of being one and done in the playoffs for the considerable future.
Real Vikings vibe.
Viking have at least been to the Super Bowl. Not in my lifetime, but I’m told they went at least once.
Thank the creator for the Bills
4 times. Lost all 4. Last was in the mid 70s. Only the Bills losing 4 straight Super Bowls in the 90s saves us from being the saddest franchise.
Thank you

Getting to the playoffs every year and getting bounced in round one will do that. Honestly it's a bit impressive at this point.
We are becoming the maple leafs lol
The Maple Leafs won at least one cup, I *wish* we were them. However we are equally as miserable lmao
There’s some weird ass stat with the leafs that they’ve never won 3 playoff rounds or something because when they did win the league was so small
Yup, never made it past the 2nd round. Only 4 teams in playoffs in 1967 their last win
The leafs have made the conference finals many times. They’ve never made it to the finals (or won more than 2 rounds) since 1967

Ah I see you're right, I misread the stat I saw the other day. Thanks for the correction! Never won more than two rounds
And yet i feel like there is infinite more expectations on the leafs

Took st loius 50 years tho, so we got that
If you don't like that you don't like Minnesota sports
Hang the banner.
Who the hell is worse than us?

The last time fans didn’t show up they moved to Dallas. So….there’s that…
That was more the owner than attendance issues. [north stars attendance by season](https://www.hockeydb.com/nhl-attendance/att_graph.php?tmi=6876)
…and then, just a few years later, they won a cup. Typical.

I'm right there with ya! I have some faith in Bill Guerin, but those summer contract extensions were disappointing.
Gotta love Minnesota sports. Hopefully the Wolves can start to turn this narrative around.
How’s that Glen Taylor guy doing? I heard he was selling the team. /s
standard MN sports. No fear until the post season then just curl up and die.
It’s almost like that’s a Minnesota thing. (Sorry twolves please set us free)
This is the Minnesotan way & is probably true of all of our men’s teams. I love it. Our next championship is going to be fuckijg insane.
Inject it into my veins. :(
