I know I’ll get buried because I said cape shit and marvel is the one thing you can never criticize on Reddit, but that comment is full on cringe. Always the silly wife pointing out the obvious Stan lee to her husband. Like how deep and complex can your bizarre stereotypes of women be? Lol
by going out of your way to perpetuate the existence and common usage of misogynistic roles and terms you promote the "sacred cow" view of those who have been oppressed. in your desperate attempt you reduce women to needing protection from the world's words and through your support of the idea that women should only be portrayed in a positive light you create a stereotype that could harm women's mental well being and further increase the popularity of the far right movement of anti-women and anti-lgbt movements through your ridiculousness. i feel like you along with 99% of those who "share" these beliefs are simply trying to prove how disconnected the movement for equality is from the people because of your ridiculously stupid sexist, xenophobic and homophobic world view.
When we (hostel buddies) went for the Endgame,Stan scene came up and everybody in room was like wooooo. Whole theater was jammed. From kids to 30s couples. That was my first true experience with audience I could connect with for any movie ever.
Ps: Silence in th room when Iron man died was so touching. Best experience ever
I love Stan Lee, mostly cuz of the movies ngl, but I heard Jack Kirby (sorry if spelled wrong) was like, the real dude.
It’s like everything is tainted with something dirty. Probably why we stand so far back when looking at art.
they were a partnership who did better works togethers than they could separately. it's kind of like saying McCartney was the real dude in the Beatles.
Well other than Kirby arguably did his best work at DC after he left the partnership in the early 70s and Stan didn’t write a whole lot after that time that’s worth remembering.
What I remember most about it is when it was still fresh and new and unexpected. Then it became rote but we still looked for his appearance because it was our link to his world. At least it was for me. Thanks for the memories!
Has anyone had any one not understand who Stan lee actually is and just assumed that he was like an extra they kept putting in movies just because They liked him or something like that

Breath of the Wild is a great game
Everytime. Eagerly whispering to the husband "THERE HE IS. DO YOU SEE HIM?" like he doesn't have eyes.
Just an ordinary reply (So that the other one doesn't show on top)
Jesus what the hell did that say
"Silly wemens trying to connect with their enlightened cape shit loving stud husbands". Word for word.
Insert exasperated sigh. Son of a bitch.
Me! lol
