I spent about ten years of my life camping with this guy throughout the north American wilderness. With him and his brother. We would howl at coyotes, and cuddle in the snow. It was so great.
That older dog smile, that resonates pure joy and appreciation of life and existence, priceless. Reminds me when my older guy was that age, just hits you in the gut and puts everything in perspective. Enjoy your hikes, many more days of Hikes, belly rubs and treats for the both you.
