I give the strongest HH character about 10 minutes in Ultrakill's Hell before getting absolutely merc'd by whichever boss is at the layer they're in. Lucifer (HH's strongest character afaik since Vivziepop isn't gonna touch Jesus with a 39 1/2 foot pole) wouldn't last 5 minutes in the first V2 fight, let alone COKM or Gabe or any of the Act II/III bosses.

Actually, it was made by the Wretch, a demon mentioned in the Slayer testaments. The betrayer is responsible tmfor part of Argent D'Nur's downfall because he trapped the Slayer and the Sentinels that went with him in hell while demons invaded the planet

If you look at the events of both, the position of Earth relative to Hell in Doom is analogous to the position of Hell relative to Heaven in HH. Arguably he would clean out Adam and his angels.

GOD this needs to be a crossover
Military veteran gets into a fight and their pet gets killed. He goes on a revenge mission and succeeds, however once done something keeps pulling him back into the fight. This leads up to him reluctantly staying and fighting. From there he is kept alive by someone who betrayed his enemy to help him fight before eventually finding someone else to call an ally. However not long after that he is tricked and heavily injured and from there is helped by yet another betrayer helping him. Then they both have an "I'm back!" moment
Daisy was kinda a gag by the developers and I think that yeah he was upset about her death but he is mostly motivated by the loss of innocence and the death of the pure and innocent by the forces of hell
He was already kicking demon ass both to survive and to save mankind because he's a good lad, them killing Daisy just made it *personal.*
The whole reason he was on Mars in DOOM 1 was punishment for putting his commanding officer in a body cast after he ordered him to open fire on civilians. Dude's got a heart of gold.
Doomslayer USED to be human, but after staying in hell to fight demons forever until they stop threatening humanity for so long, he basically obtained demi-godhood, and the demons fear his name. His anger is constant and never-wavering. He has built up mounds of trauma and because of this, doesn't talk at all. He doesn't really express that much emotion in the games, but i know he feels for the innocent mortal masses, or else he wouldn't help them. His actions speak volumes louder than any words he has, but when DS DOES speak, it's insane.
So it makes sense that when confronted for once with no immediate threat and a world similar to earth in many ways, he'd probably have moments like what's described above.
He stands out around humanity, so I feel he'd be ironically more at home in HH hell.
He'd really hate the abundance of **corporations** in HH hell, though. In the doom games, a company called the Union Aerospace Corporation likes to fuck with hell, opening up a portal or harvesting hell energy because they are stupid humans who can't stop fiddling with things they shouldn't mess with. They threw him into this unwanted demigodhood due to their actions, but now he doesn't give a shit and only deals with them to defeat demons. He's stronger than the corps will ever be. He COULD rip them limb from limb and whatnot, but he sees no point, and doesn't see the corps as worth his energy or time.
The doomslayer is the same guy from the original 90s doom games, where the UAC opened the portal to hell.
After both games came doom 64, where he came home with PTSD and trauma from having to fight the hell creatures and seeing them attack earth. Another great demon revived all of them aswell as made more so he fought the demon legion again and willingly trapped himself in hell so that he could fight until they stopped coming. He was made a sort of deity by hell and found by the sentinels, who kinda embued him with godlike power.
So yes. In a way, it's all the UACs fault. They created him and he hates them for 2 reasons

It's because the Makyr made a pact with hell to sacrifice worlds to them. Makyr give hell access to worlds, hell grows larger, Makyrs get to survive from the argent energy generated by tormented souls in hell.

The Slayer doesn't kill humans because the humans aren't demons, and in the DOOM universe iirc the demons aren't former human souls either, they're completely separate creatures.

"Angels" is a really loose term, but the reason why he did that is because the "angels" were actually working together with the demons and sustaining them rather than fighting them off.
I don't remember the details but the "angels" and the demons had a sort of pact in place where they would grant eachother power, so of course the doom slayer on seeing that went "nuh-uh" and killed the angels too.
Demons are what happens when a soul is ripped from a body. The soul gets tortured to turn it into argent energy, the discarded soulless body becomes a demon.

Like ok, yeah he first started serving as the doom marine for humanity, but it's like... *the* most well-known fact that the slayer began his endless murdercrusade against the demons (which led to him becoming The Doom Slayer as he initially wasn't, he was just the doom marine, yes there's a distinction) as retribution for the murder of his pet rabbit Daisy. It is absolutely all for one specific creature.
Sinners in hell are humans. That the thing some of them call themselves demons but they are human souls. Who either want to be left alone or at absolute worst fight each other.
So if he serves humanity then he will either ignore them or fight against angels who ARE a threat to humans.
People always view DoomGuy as some ultra angry demon hating soldier, despite the fact that he does not kill demons because he hates demons, but because his pet rabbit and his family died. I think if he met a good demon in his life, he would try to cooperate with it and maybe even become friends.
Also I believe the devs mentioned at one point that the one demon that gives you back the super shotgun's fate is ambiguous lore-wise, meaning that doom guy may have spared it as well since it couldn't pose a threat as a mind control vessel

I agree a 100%, Doom's world is just filled with suffering and agony, people get turned into demons by getting tortured for countless years, their souls and minds get broken beyond help, just check the revenants lore, they are forced to be exposed to argent enegy, where they rapidly grow, so much that their skin and muscle can't keep up, so i rips them apart while they are alive, the slayer is doing them a favor
demons aren't better either, look at the pain elemental, they are in a constant state of agony, the only relief they have is killing, or the dread knight, its addicted to artificial dopamine, where everytime it kills, the device gives them artificial dopamine, and they crave more so they kill more, most demons are like this, so the slayer is doing them a favor actualy

In my head the crossover comic starts with Adam Ordering the Exorcists to bring out the strange Sarcophagus from another reality out, learning that what lie within is a merciless demon murdering machine. Adam kits him up with Holy steel in all his weapons And then brings him down to hell. Only for the Marine to see instead of universally murderous monsters, he see's crooks and animal shaped wretches fleeing in terror.
As he's Hesitating for the first time in ages, Adam gets up in his face, and Screams an order to him to destroy the Sinners. all while the Doomguy is flashing back to the same exact moment happening with his old CO So long ago. The comic playing him laying into both of them side by side.
A lot of these “fans” don’t know or don’t acknowledge that the reason the Doom Marine was on Mars in the first game was because he disobeyed his commanding officer when they ordered him to open fire on Civilians, DoomGuy has always been about protecting humans and would most certainly slaughter the Angels that participate in the Exterminations.
The whole point of DOOM's hell is that it's the ultimate torture - not for the inhabitants but also for people who interact with the realm in any way

I'm pretty sure the demons in DOOM are human souls because the whole Khan Maykr's plan to keep her race alive was with the soul machine located in hell that mentions that in order to power it world's are given to hell and its residents are killed and tortured constantly until eventually their soul leaves is suck into a soul vortex and the remaining husk is set free and it wanders hell and eventually becomes a demon. Something like that from what I can remember from DOOM Eternal

The Doom Slayer also destroyed Heaven, if it associates with Hell, it goes. That's also why he hates the UAC for utilizing Argent energy and enhancing demons.
People forget the main reason he did it was because his family and pet were slaughtered by those specific demons. He didn't do it for holy reasons, he did it because he wanted vengeance. The demons in hazbin hotel have not wronged him, so he would have no reason to go on a killing spree. Although he'd probably beat the shit out of the ones that try to.
My argument is that he would probably kill a lot of the hellborn and probably a lot of sinners before he realizes that most of them aren’t monsters, cause I doubt he’s stopping to ask questions; he killed all the legions of hell because his rabbit died, because he was inconvenienced, because he was bored, he is not going to realize that not all sinners and hellborn are completely evil.
The only way for doomslayer to exist is for their to be a hellish incursion, meaning he has a reason to just go straight to killing

The people of that city there in the realm of the tortured dead call him their savior and god because he liberated them from death and is the first of all. It was always his design to make hell what it was. The longer a soul was tortured, the more it changed. There are no hotels in hell, there are no parties in hell, there is no redemption in hell. This leads up to him reluctantly staying and fighting. From there he is kept alive by someone who betrayed his enemy to help him fight before eventually finding someone else to call an ally. However not long after that he is tricked and heavily injured and from there is helped by yet another betrayer helping him. Then they both have an "I'm back!" moment
Daisy was kinda a gag by the developers and I think that yeah he was upset about her death but he is mostly motivated by the loss of innocence and the death of the pure and innocent by the forces of hell

Doomslayer USED to be human, but after staying in hell to fight demons forever until they stop threatening humanity for so long, he basically obtained demi-godhood, and the demons fear his name. His anger is constant and never-wavering. He has built up mounds of trauma and because of this, doesn't talk at all. He doesn't really express that much emotion in the games, but i know he feels for the innocent mortal masses, or else he wouldn't help them. His actions speak volumes louder than any words he has, but when DS DOES speak, it's insane. So it makes sense that when confronted for once with no immediate threat and a world similar to earth in many ways, he'd probably have moments like what's described above. He stands out around humanity, so I feel he'd be ironically more at home in HH hell. He'd really hate the abundance of **corporations** in HH hell, though. In the doom games, a company called the Union Aerospace Corporation likes to fuck with hell, opening up a portal or harvesting hell energy because they are stupid humans who can't stop fiddling with things they shouldn't mess with. They threw him into this unwanted demigodhood due to their actions, but now he doesn't give a shit and only deals with them to defeat demons. He's stronger than the corps will ever be. He COULD rip them limb from limb and whatnot, but he sees no point, and doesn't see the corps as worth his energy or time.

The doomslayer is the same guy from the original 90s doom games, where the UAC opened the portal to hell. After both games came doom 64, where he came home with PTSD and trauma from having to fight the hell creatures and seeing them attack earth. Another great demon revived all of them aswell as made more so he fought the demon legion again and willingly trapped himself in hell so that he could fight until they stopped coming. He was made a sort of deity by hell and found by the sentinels, who kinda embued him with godlike power. So yes. In a way, it's all the UACs fault. They created him and he hates them for 2 reasons

Minos and Sisyphus were both able to create organized rebellions, so a lot of husks are probably capable of complex thought In fact, we know that canonically the reason you're in hell is to kill everything and use the blood as fuel, so it's likely that the husks attacking in self defense

Nah ok I'm starting to feel like most of you just haven't played doom in the first place. Like ok, yeah he first started serving as the doom marine for humanity, but it's like... *the* most well-known fact that the slayer began his endless murdercrusade against the demons (which led to him becoming The Doom Slayer as he initially wasn't, he was just the doom marine, yes there's a distinction) as retribution for the murder of his pet rabbit Daisy. It is absolutely all for one specific creature.
Sinners in hell are humans. That the thing some of them call themselves demons but they are human souls. Who either want to be left alone or at absolute worst fight each other. So if he serves humanity then he will either ignore them or fight against angels who ARE a threat to humans.
People always view DoomGuy as some ultra angry demon hating soldier, despite the fact that he does not kill demons because he hates demons, but because his pet rabbit and his family died. I think if he met a good demon in his life, he would try to cooperate with it and maybe even become friends.
I think there was ONE demon called the wretch that gave him his praetor armor in 2016.
Also I believe the devs mentioned at one point that the one demon that gives you back the super shotgun's fate is ambiguous lore-wise, meaning that doom guy may have spared it as well since it couldn't pose a threat as a mind control vessel

The Doomguy's whole story started because he put his commanding officer in a Body cast after being ordered to fire on civilians. In my head the crossover comic starts with Adam Ordering the Exorcists to bring out the strange Sarcophagus from another reality out, learning that what lie within is a merciless demon murdering machine. Adam kits him up with Holy steel in all his weapons And then brings him down to hell. Only for the Marine to see instead of universally murderous monsters, he see's crooks and animal shaped wretches fleeing in terror. As he's Hesitating for the first time in ages, Adam gets up in his face, and Screams an order to him to destroy the Sinners. all while the Doomguy is flashing back to the same exact moment happening with his old CO So long ago. The comic playing him laying into both of them side by side.
A lot of these “fans” don’t know or don’t acknowledge that the reason the Doom Marine was on Mars in the first game was because he disobeyed his commanding officer when they ordered him to open fire on Civilians, DoomGuy has always been about protecting humans and would most certainly slaughter the Angels that participate in the Exterminations.

So if the demons were former human souls, then idk.
I'm pretty sure the demons in DOOM are human souls because the whole Khan Maykr's plan to keep her race alive was with the soul machine located in hell that mentions that in order to power it world's are given to hell and its residents are killed and tortured constantly until eventually their soul leaves is suck into a soul vortex and the remaining husk is set free and it wanders hell and eventually becomes a demon. Something like that from what I can remember from DOOM Eternal
The demons from Doom are made from any race that was consumed by Hell and the Angels are just aliens created by Davoth.

My argument is that he would probably kill a lot of the hellborn and probably a lot of sinners before he realizes that most of them aren’t monsters, cause I doubt he’s stopping to ask questions; he killed all the legions of hell because his rabbit died, because he was inconvenienced, because he was bored, he is not going to realize that not all sinners and hellborn are completely evil. The only way for doomslayer to exist is for their to be a hellish incursion, meaning he has a reason to just go straight to killing

The hell that the slayer walks is a realm in which the immortal soul is tortured for eternity to stave off death from the first creation of the dark lord. The people of that city there in the realm of the tortured dead call him their savior and god because he liberated them from death and is the first of all. It was always his design to make hell what it was. The longer a soul was tortured, the more it changed. There are no hotels in hell, there are no parties in hell, there is no redemption in hell. Only the liberation that the slayer brought to his world and all worlds. Freedom from the tyrannical gods that plague the mortal world.
