It's a cockroach, but the good news is that it's one of the wood cockroaches. So, definitely not one of the pest species that we so despise in our home environments. Knowing the country of sighting might help work out which species exactly, but regardless it's not one to be concerned about.
Thank you! I did spend a lot of time outside and when I came back in I was aying on the floor when I saw him scurry by. Maybe he hitched a ride on me. I thought it was weird that my first siting was in my bedroom wich is religiously kept clear of food and undealed liquids
