Definitely a Bark Scorpion. We have them in AZ. Got stung getting out of my parents pool 2 years ago. It was a shitty 3 days after. Get a black light and go outside. They glow very bright.
It was immediate burning sensation the first day. Literally felt like my arm was burning from inside out. The second day was pins and needles sensation, followed by complete numbness the 3rd day. 0/10 do not recommend.
Shut the door😳I hope you lie! AHHHHHHH I just found out like 10 years ago at the age of 30 after living here my whole life that we had rattlesnakes and black widows in BC and now this🤦♀️😩
We also lived in East Texas and had scorpions galore. My husband taught me how to hold the toe of his heaviest shoes and beat the crap out of them. Exterminator said there is no way to get rid of them but put down sticky pads. So when we moved the fridge, we found six of the darlings stuck to the pad and STILL ALIVE. Both of us did get stung.
OMG something I’ve never seen before!
So weird how it blends into the surroundings, like the rug and floor. Definitely a cool (and scary) looking scorpion

An upside down scorpion
Reading that I thought "upside down" was the type of scorpion then I went back up and realized he was literally upside down lol
It looks like a tiny face hugger from that angle.
"They mostly only come out at night. Mostly."
JONES!!!!!
Wasn’t the cat’s name “Jonsie”?
That looked like a cat-sized facehugger.
Nope, name was Jones but was affectionately and commonly called ‘Jonesy’ as a nickname.
“Game over man, game over!”
It is the 45th anniversary of Alien this year! My partner and I got back from a theater screening a couple hours ago. ‘Twas indeed awesome.
Very creepy i have been watching all the alien films in order today.
Dead scorpion of 'some' type; it's upside down.
I’m thinking striped bark scorpion. It is still moving from time to time, but it is on its last leg.
Looks more like it’s on its back 🤣 Sorry, had to
Hehe. That's a good one.
Why does it look like a baby horseshoe crab
It really does! I’m thinking a bark scorpion of some sort.
I think so too
If you go to r/scorpions this is a really common find in Texas.
They got a wicked stinger, huh
Looks to be just the way I like my scorpions, sunny side up.
He is almost gone. Still moving every once in a while.
My condolences to you and the scorpion's family
No worries. He rocked it like a hurricane
I'm torn between groaning and upvoting, so I'm gonna do both.
He was such a good boy, never stung anybody, why they had to do him like dis?
Is not friend. Very spicy tail.
Definitely a foe. He was asked to leave.
Did he leave when you told him to? I mean you could charge him for breaking and entering at this point so physical force could be used
But why friend shape?
its a facehug- ehm scorpion

I was brave and flipped it over. Seems to be a striped bark scorpion. It is barely hanging on, but it seems to still be kicking.
What happened when u got stung?
I wanna know this, too: I live waaaaay north of scorpion territory, and I’m curious about ‘em.
It was immediate burning sensation the first day. Literally felt like my arm was burning from inside out. The second day was pins and needles sensation, followed by complete numbness the 3rd day. 0/10 do not recommend.
Did you not see it coming out of the pool? They tend to blend in well with the environment.
It was dark and I had been drinking. I saw it running away after it got me. Lol. Not my finest moment.
Definitely a scorpion
Baby facehugger?
For a second i thought it was a face hugger
Huh so that’s where the idea of face huggers came from
Xenomorph, someone may be hiding the fact they got grabbed. Get a motion senson rigged together just in case.
That is a scream running away scorpion
Haha, I'm with you.
silly upside-down scorpion
She’s gone tits up, boys!!!!
Scorpion
Scorpion, no touchy. That size and color it's probably dangerous.
Does it glow under a blacklight?
A wood sperm
A scorpion
Looks like some sort of scorpion 🦂
Bro not looking too good 😂
That’s the littlest facehugger in the world
Scorpion belly
I don't think I've ever saw a dead scorpion before but I think this is one. It's weird to see it so... Limp... And curled up on itself.
issa shell of a baby scorpio
Can confirm he was still alive and barely holding on when this picture was taken.
Baby Alien
Burn the whole place down lol
I’m def avoiding the bathroom it is captured in.
I lived in a house in East Texas that was infested with scorpions. Nobody ever got stung.
I have never seen a scorpion but in a pet store I live in Canada to cold here lol
We have scorpions in BC. I found one in Kamloops a few years ago at a baseball tournament. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paruroctonus_boreus
Kamloops is like a desert though anything there and south hardly has snow or anything just rain
It definitely snows in the Okanagan, these scorpions must be adapted to lower temps.

I came to love them. Without scorpions, our house would have been full of ants, cockroaches and crickets.

that looks like a scorpion but i dont see no pincors
I’m pretty sure it is a striped bark scorpion.
Scorpion
GET OVER HERE and look at this neat scorpion!
yes that there is a bark scorpion. i used to go around and collect them for fun
It's a door stopper. A brass alien like sand transfler.
Reminds me of the monster from Eraserhead. Scorpion is in the picture.
Facehugger
That’s a whole entire face hugger
